PROLOGUE:

Life was very different to what had been imagined it would be just a few hundred years ago. An asteroid called Apophis had hit New York devastating Old Manhattan. A pandemic had erupted a few years later and had roared around the world killing over fifty percent of the population, and then a massive category seven hurricane had ripped through the southern United States and the eastern seaboard leaving an almost total trail of devastation and destruction. Birth rates had plummeted and humans were in short supply.

Those events had been two hundred years ago and now mankind was rebuilding, restoring and progressing to a new future. New Manhattan was thriving, the Eastern Seaboard now a destination for the rich, who built large homes believing that the catastrophes of before would not strike in the same place twice. Governments as the Old World knew them no longer existed. The territories, countries and states all still existed, but now the world was run by mega conglomerates who paid no mind to the old ways of democracies and socialisms.

The biggest of all of the conglomerates was Synth Inc who made the Synthetic robots that had helped rebuild our world after so much devastation, and who had helped build the off-world colonies who sourced most of the raw materials needed. A Synth didn't need the same atmospheres as a human and could survive greater temperature extremes, it just needed to recharge at the end of a day.

The issue now for mankind was continuance of homo sapiens. Homo Synth was now the majority on Earth, and almost entirely the majority off world. Their realism made them almost impossible to tell apart from humans, and now that they had harvested human eggs and placed them in the Synths, they were giving birth too. It was all very different to life in the old days.

FUTURE:

It was a day that I could travel, one of my allotted days that I could leave my residence and meet other people. Whether they were real or not, was a moot point, who could tell whether the man shagging me was a Synth or not? I couldn't, and in fact, I had no idea if I had ever shagged a real man or not, probably not, there were so few of them left. I loved shagging and to be honest I never even wondered if he was a man or a synth.

I sometimes wondered, when I looked in a mirror if I was a real human. Could I tell, were the synths so good these days that they didn't know they were synths? If I couldn't tell if the man shagging me was real, how could I tell if I was or was not? I pinched myself, it hurt. I pricked myself; I bled. But then, so did a Synth, they were that real. Even a Synth could get pregnant these days, that one differential now gone.

I was about to scan the socials and look for a hook up when my Personal chimed. An incoming message. I was required at the Head Office. A pod was on its way to pick me up. This was unusual, so few people actually went in to work these days, machines and Synths built everything, and machines didn't need supervision, everything preprogrammed by the conglomerate Quantum Computers hidden away deep under mountains, protected from even the worst disasters.

No one knew where the offices were or where the computers were, we just knew that they were, it wasn't hidden knowledge, it was just unnecessary knowledge. I slipped a toga on, the standard wear for everyone these days. Climate was controlled, no more devastating hurricanes were allowed, no more floods ripping communities apart, everything was controlled, and in a warm even temperature, a simple toga was the only clothing needed.

My Personal chimed, the Pod was outside. I went out, my residence automatically locking down after I left, not that there was any cause, no one stole anything these days, there was no point, everything was free. The Pod door was open, I got in and sat down and as soon as the belt tightened around my waist, the door shut, and I could feel movement.

No windows in a Pod, there was no use for them, they simply conveyed you from where you were to where you needed to be, sight-seeing was irrelevant. We travelled for around an hour, whether it was in circles or a straight line I could not tell, I had no way of knowing whether Head Office was nearby or a long way away, or even if it was underground. It was not knowledge that I needed.

The Pod stopped and a door opened. I stepped out. I was inside a building, that much was obvious, walls surrounded me, in fact it was impossible to see the entrance that the Pod must have used to gain entrance. A door opened and arrows, blue arrows, lit up on the walls showing me the direction to walk, I followed them and soon found myself in a room with two chairs. I sat in one chair and waited.

A door opened and a man entered, he looked old, and I guessed he was probably human, although even the newer Synths aged, to blend in better.

"Mica." His voice was deep and rolled around the room.

"Yes," I answered.

"I am Milo."

"Okay."

"Do you know where you are?"

"Synth Inc HQ I assume," Synth Inc being the conglomerate that I was employed by for my one day per week of required work.

"No."

"Oh, okay, may I ask where I am then?"

"Yes. You are in a private facility, not owned by the conglomerates. Let's call it Embarkation."

"Embarkation? Okay. Why am I here?"

"You are here because you are human, you are in fact one of the last humans on Earth."

"Oh. Okay I didn't know that; half the time I wonder if I am not a Synth myself."

"Yes, a common feeling these days, but I assure you that you are one hundred percent human, human female.

He paused and then continued, "we are leaving Earth. We want you to come."

"Where to, why?"

"Tau Ceti. We have established a colony there on a planet we call New Hope. No Synths."

"No Synths? Who does everything then?"

"We do, humans, like it always was, like it used to be before we allowed the Synths and AI to take over the world. We thought that it would make a better world, it didn't, it just made a stagnant world and almost brought about the end of mankind."

"Oh. Okay."

"We are leaving Earth and it's solar colonies to the Synths."

"What if they follow us?"

"They won't, we have told them that to follow us will cause us harm and that goes against the built-in robotic laws as defined hundreds of years ago and built into every Synth. They will not be able to follow us."

"Okay. So, when do we go?"

"Next week. You have a week here of training and then you will go on the next ship, the last ship."

"How long will it take to get there?"

"It will take about eight weeks."

"Okay. What skills will I need?"

"None, you are a woman, that is all that you need to be."

Now, for the first time I was shocked. I was to be used to breed, that much was obvious, and that kind of scared me. I hadn't even thought about getting pregnant when I was having sex, the chances of hooking up with a real live human male, and at the same time that I was actually ovulating were so astronomically low that it would be virtually impossible for me to get pregnant, and I didn't have to worry about it. Now, on New Hope, every male I met would be a real human. Crikey.

I did not return to my old home, I spent the rest of my time here at Embarkation, mixing with real people, all of them real humans, none of them Synths. I had a room assigned to me that was to one side of a large circular walkway. In the centre of the walkway was a communal area where people actually mingled and spoke to each other. Almost unheard of in my world.

"Mica?"

"Yes," difficult to deny it, we all had a name tag on our toga.

"Hi Mica, I am Lindo. It is so weird isn't it, only seeing real people, and knowing that none of them are Synths."

"I know, I don't think, before I came here, that I actually ever met a real human. It didn't seem to matter because the Synths seem so real anyway."

"You know, I am worried that real humans may not appear as good as Synths, and it may be disappointing."

"Oh, I never thought about that. Crikey, imagine having sex and it is a big let-down after only having been with Synths who are programmed to be perfect, wow, I have never even thought about that."

"I know. Are you worried about what we will find on New Hope?"

"No Lindo, no, I am a bit nervous about getting pregnant though, I never had to consider it before as it probably wasn't going to happen."

"You know that they have been harvesting real women's eggs and putting them into Synths? Well, I heard that they have been doing it with sperms too."

"Oh, I didn't know that. I wonder if it worked. I have never seen a pregnant woman."

"No idea, but the Synths were worried that Humans were dying out. Could be why they are not stopping this New Hope project."

"Could be, although the Guy that I met said that the Synths had been programmed not to harm humans, and that they were told that Synths going to New Hope would harm humans."

"Yes, the old Asimov laws, built into every Synth, or so they say, we have no way of knowing, do we? We have no way of knowing if the synths can evolve and remove that programming."

He reached forward and stroked my cheek with the back of his hand. "You are very pretty you know," he said.

"Thank you, but I am just me."

"Would you like to come to my room?"

"Okay." He obviously wanted sex, and that was okay, I would like to have sex with a real human and why not Lindo?

He stood up and took my hand and we walked to the corridor and stopped in front of one of the rooms.

"This is mine," he said pressing his thumb against the door which unlocked. I followed him in.

His room was pretty much the same as mine, white walls and dΓ©cor. A view screen, a large bed, some seats and a closet for togas. I pressed at the catch on my shoulder and my toga fell, Lindo did the same. I looked at his dick. It was a little smaller in length than the dicks I had experienced, probably enforcing my belief that they had all been Synths. This could well be my first real human dick.

"You look great," he said, "you honestly look real."

I wondered what it was, compared to Synth women, that made me look real. Everyone had boobs and they all varied a little, Synth or not, as apparently did the boobs on human women of hundreds of years ago. Virtually every dick I had seen had been pretty much the same size, I wondered if dicks on real men varied in size? I guessed I would find out over the next few weeks.

I knelt in front of Lindo and took his dick in my hand, it felt like a dick should feel, the outer skin was soft but the dick was hard on the inside, and the foreskin rolled easily down his dick. His glans was a sort of aubergine colour and his pee hole in the end was just the same size as every other one I had seen.

His balls however hung lower than others I had experienced, was that something that made him more real, that the balls on a human hung lower than that of a Synth? I held his balls in my hand, rolling them from side to side.

"Ooh, ouch," he said, "gentle, that can hurt."

"Oh my, I am sorry." I knew that squeezing a guy's balls was supposed to hurt, I needed to be gentler. The reality of humans over Synths was becoming obvious. I eased his foreskin back and forth, straining it where it joined, the little connection tissue going white as I pulled his foreskin right down. I leant forward a little and sucked his dick into my mouth, my tongue rolling over his glans and licking along his rim.

He gasped and made the usual appreciative noises as I sucked and kissed and lapped his dick, all the time playing with his balls, and another finger behind, pressing at his sphincter, not penetrating, just pressing. He grasped my head in his hands and pulled me to my feet, his dick leaving my mouth with a soft plopping noise.

"Let's get on the bed" Lindo said.

I sat on the bed and then lay backwards as Lindo knelt between my legs and dipped forward, blowing along my crease and then pulling my labia gently apart with his fingers. I could feel the air on my valley floor and then his tongue pressed in, my inner labia folding around his tongue, ripples of pleasures running through me.

Fingers made circles round my entrance and then pushed in a little, passing my entrance and penetrating my body, his fingers in my fanny as his mouth began to lick my clitoris. My pressures began to grow, my pleasures ran through my body, my labia curled around his tongue as he worked. It seemed that being surrounded by perfect Synths had taught us few humans how to have great sex, and Lindo had learned his lessons well.

Two fingers circled my entrance, slowly lapping and then pushing in, my body reacting, pressures growing, pleasures flowing, my breath gasping as his tongue found my clitoris and dabbed. "Oh, my," I gasped as my back tightened and my desire grew. I pulled him away, I wanted more, but not yet, I wanted more of him.

I pushed him onto his back and pushed his foreskin down his dick, his purple glans glistening in the clinical light of the room, and I licked the end, my tongue pushing into his hole, he gasped. I surrounded his dick with my mouth and sucked, wanking him with my mouth, he writhed and bucked on the bed as his pleasures flowed. Satisfied he was ready, I eased away and covered him, lowering my fanny over his dick, his foreskin rolling down and I felt his glans inside me.

His rim scraped my insides, my fanny walls hugging it as it passed over my bumps and ripples, small rivers of pleasure flowing through me, my breath held, my fingers curled as I filled my body with human meat for possibly the first time, and it felt glorious. My body felt somehow honoured, it felt as if a whole new future was about to unfold for me, and for the first time I really enjoyed shagging, it was as if it had gone to a new level. I was surprised at how much the Synths had affected my life, and I was apprehensive for the future.

A sudden twitch of his dick inside me and I gasped as the pleasures rolled through me, pressures grew, and my electrics fizzed. I rested my hands on his chest and began to move as quickly as I could, rocking back and forth, his dick sliding inside my body, and alien but a welcome one.

My breath was stuck somewhere in my chest, I could feel the gasps and gulps get stuck in my throat, my fingers pushed at his chest and his eyes stared up at mine, his face contorting as his climax approached, and I screamed, I screamed loud and my orgasm erupted, pleasures exploding though my body, electrics making my nipples tingle and my toes curl and I laughed and my fanny gurgled as Lindo spurted inside me.

His spurts were cool, cooler than I expected, was this another differentiator between Synth and human? I didn't care, I had just been shagged and taken to new levels of pleasure.

Meals were taken in the central communal area and were different to what I was used to. In preparation for the move to New Hope, the food here was all natural, plants that had been grown somewhere and eggs from chickens. I knew of these foods, but back in my Earth existence, that is, outside of Embarkation, food was processed and you never really knew what it was, it just was supposedly nutritionally balanced.

The plants had strange flavours, very much stronger to what I was used to, and I wasn't sure that my palate enjoyed them. I had been accustomed to bland, this was very much not bland. Something called broccoli had a very deep taste that grated in my mouth. The egg was pleasant and over the week I learned that it could be cooked in many different ways, I think my favourite was a thing called an omelette, it had some vegetables called peppers in it and was delicious.

The time came for departure. We all gathered in the central concourse and were called by name one at a time. My time came and I was paired with a guy called Petros. We went through a door and along a corridor and then over a walkway into another metal structure. This was, we were told, the spaceship that would take us to New Hope.

I did not know how it moved, what its method of propulsion was, there were technical people who needed to know that, I didn't.

"On New Hope," the man guiding us said, "your knowledge will grow, you will learn many new things and will master some of them. Some of you will learn to be farmers, some of you bakers, some of you weavers. It will be exciting and busy, and some of you will become mothers, and some will be fathers. We have been prepari g New Hope for fifty years, planting food and nurturing trees, building shelters, homes and getting it ready. Now is the time this comes to fruition."

We had been told that we had been genetically paired, and it was suggested, in the strongest terms, that we stayed within that pair until our first baby was born. We were then free to explore other couplings or stay within that first pairing if we so wanted, there were no rules. Well, there were, there was one inviolate rule, we were told that violence was prohibited. Anyone displaying violence towards another human would be expelled from the community and would likely therefore perish.

I had never experience or seen violence, it didn't exist on Earth, possibly due to the rules built into the Synths, but in a world exclusively human, it was a possibility. Petros was to be my partner on New Hope, he was about the same height as me, although his skin colour was darker, and his hair was a brown colour whereas mine was blond. We both shared a stasis pod where we would sleep for the journey through space and away from Earth.

I don't know how long it took to load the spaceship, or even how many of us were on it. There had been around a hundred of us in Embarkation, but there could have been other corridors, other people elsewhere, I didn't know. Petros and I settled onto the couches in the stasis pod, and the lid closed, and things became hazy.

I opened my eyes, unsure where I was, what I was doing, my mind was a muddle. The cover above me moved and then I was looking up into a metal room and my memories started to come back. I was in the stasis pod. Had something gone wrong, had we taken off? I didn't know. I looked at Petros and he seemed as befuddled as I was.

"Mica, Petros," a voice said and then a woman appeared, "welcome to your new home."

"What?" I said my voice croaking, "are we here?"

"Yes, the journey was uneventful and here you are on the planet New Hope. Please try to move your arms and legs and then sit up. You haven't moved any muscles for a few weeks, and they will need to wake up. Don't try to get out of the pod by yourself, someone will come back shortly and help you."

I tried to lift my arm, it didn't want to move, and then, when it eventually did move, I had the sensation of being stabbed by hundreds of pins all down my arms. Eventually, and much pain later, I managed to sit up. As far as I could see there were pods, lids opening, people sitting up. Gosh, there must be thousands of us. Humankind in its new home.

Eventually a woman came to help, a name tag on her toga read Helyn.

"Right," Helyn said, "let me help you out, Petros first and then Mica."

Petros held his arms out to Helyn and she helped him climb out, Petros stood somewhat unsteadily at the side of the pod. She came round and helped me, my legs feeling like jelly at first, but eventually I felt confident for a few steps.
