β Chapter 152:
Bookkeeping as a librarian was a tough job. Lyra the librarian spent many a day reorganising the mess pesky customizers left or dealing with the pesky customers themselves who often seemed to think of her not so much a living breathing person but as some kind of convenient book golem in the shape of a person.
Seriously, it was like she was some kind of brainless dispenser of book related information to these people! She loved her job as a librarian, she really did, and she was a dedicated worker, a librarian who took her job seriously over the years, but gosh was it a little much sometimes.
Her dedication was such that it wasn't that surprising that she often ended up working late organising discarded books by messy customers, left to replace books long into the night, just as she was now.
It was getting dark and there was no one else around, just her and the books alone, a sheep girl in a professional pencil skirt, blouse, and librarian glasses like all the best librarians wore.
Alone apart from the monster stalking her.
At first she had thought it was someone coming to check on her and had called out. But only a low rumbling growl had been her reply, something so deep and low that she could feel the floorboards vibrating through her hooves, loose nails rattling under the throbbing impossibly heavy sound.
It was the growl of a terrifying predator her instincts told her, ancient primal instincts that were screaming at her to flee! Flee from the predator! You are being hunted, run!
Instead, trembling like a leaf, she hesitantly approached the dark, "H-Hello? Who's there?"
Inky shadows moved and something massive shifted, something that made her mind shut down in shock, something that drew her eyes up and up, finding a pair of teeth capable of ripping her head off, teeth headed toward her bare neck.
She had fallen back with a scream, the maw snapping closed just where she had been as she scrambled and fled, fleeing into the darkness of the library, fleeing the monster that hunted her as prey.
She had ended up crouching by the shelves in some dark and forgotten part of the library, her arms wrapped around legs, shaking and trembling while desperately trying not to breathe even a little. Then, turning her head she had found, the wolf!
"You can't hide from me."
Lyra screamed.
"Is that okay?" he growled.
"Yes! Stay in character!" hissed back Lyra.
Rain snarled and Lyra squeaked, eyes going round as Rain loomed over her small curled up shape.
If she had been wet with arousal before now her panties were like a minor flood plain. She squeezed and rubbed her thighs together, feeling her wetness slick on her inflamed skin, only becoming more so as her eyes roved over the massive masculine form riding down upon her, she felt so smol and vulnerable!
Her whole body shivered as the wolf head neared her eyes.
"You can't hide from me because I can scent your arousal, your need."
"Wait wh-what?! H-hang on, time out,
that's something you can smell!?"
"Your panties are a blazing bonfire right now, screaming for attention, your body filling the air with a call to be hunted down and bred over and over and over until you can't feel your legs."
A spluttered gasp escaped from Lya's lips, her eyes round. "Th-there's no way-" She writhed her legs together, hand slipping below her skirt's hem to check just how wet she really was.
She found soaked through dripping fabric, instantly drenching her fingers in hot wet arousal.
"Hnnff! Th-that's not true! I- I'm not that wet, y-you can't smell me down there!"
Her finger tips traced the crevice of her pussy as her soaked panties clung skin-tight to her swollen puffy muff.
"I guess I'll just have to tear all your clothes off with my teeth to check then."
The beast lunged and Lyra yelped, scrambling back from the reaching grabbing claws, then scrambling to her hooves and fleeing into the dark, racing past shelf after shelf, desperately looking for somewhere, anywhere, to hide.
Each step was accompanied by the softest plat plat as droplets from her drippy panties sprinkled from under her skirt, a trail of droplets left in her wake as she left the dark part of the hall and moved into a well lit area.
She found what she was looking for, one of the massive heavy shelves had been drawn up close to the wall and the space between was only a slim gap, just enough for a small girl like herself to hide behind.
The sheep girl slipped inside the space, it was so tight that her breasts brushed against either side and she couldn't turn her hips at all.
She frantically shuffled back just in time as with a roar and a boom the monster crashed against the wall, yellow eyes flashing as a massive paw reached behind the shelf grabbing for her, reaching to tear her to pieces.
Hyperventilating the sheep girl stared as claws moved just before her face, inches from ending her life.
But she had moved back far enough that they couldn't quite reach, the wolf couldn't touch her, she was safe, she'd done it, and after a few more attempts the monster retracted its arm.
A pair of luminous yellow eyes amongst black fur stared at her from the end of the cramped space, watching her carefully. After a moment the monster turned its head, attention shifting as it stepped away and vanished from sight.
Lyra let out a little breath of relief. Now she would only have to survive in this small space until morning and hopefully someone would come to rescue her, to save her from this terrifying beast.
Her racing heart started to slow, relief so strong it made her legs weak and wobbly.
She was going to make it.
She wiped sweat from her face just as the entire massive bookcase started to shift, a weightage in the tons of room spanning double wide shelves lifting away from the floorboards books spilling free as it moved.
