"How dare you try to trap me! Pathetic human!" a voice like gravel roared into her face. The hand around her neck was painfully tight, tight enough that Patty couldn't get air past no matter how hard she tried. She wriggled and tried to claw the hand off her. This had to be a dream but her body felt like it was actually being strangled!
"You thought you could defeat the Satyriasis Demon King - hmmm...you're not that human mage." The man leaned back to examine her better. "A human female. What are you then? His minion? His whore?"
Patty couldn't get out a single sound. Her body felt hot and tight, she was desperate for a single breath of cool air. Her attempts to free herself got weaker, and her vision narrowed.
The thing laughed at her struggles, but dropped her. This time it was Patty crumpled on the ground. She gasped and breathed gratefully. What the fuck, it felt like she had actually been dying! She was also not into breath play, so why was her brain giving her that experience? Why was this wet dream so damn weird?!
A big red hand grabbed Patty's hair at the back of her neck and yank her head back. She gasped in surprise and heard a whimper escape her. The thing's face, which she had thought was a mask, broke out into a skeletal grin. He was crouched next to her on the ground.
"Oh, that was a lovely sound, I will have more of that. But first, tell me where your master is, whore."
Gritting her teeth through the pain, Patty replied, "Look, I feel like you're mad about something but I have no idea what, but I don't have a master, and I'm not a whore! Now let go!"
The thing- demon, he called himself- turned her head this way and that and hummed thoughtfully. "Hm, perhaps you don't have a master, because if you did you would know not to speak to your betters like that. Not a whore you say...that remains to be seen..." He turned her head again, forcing her to look down at the chains that had been holding him onto the boulder. Fuck, she should have left him there to rot. "Tell me where the mage who tried to capture me in those chains went. He can't have gotten far, I will need to track him down and slaughter him slowly for his disrespect."
The demon waited for her reply, and Patty answered before he could hurt her again, "I swear, there was no one else here! I walked up and you were up there on the stone, I got you down and took off the chains and then you-"
"WHAT?! YOU LIE!" The demon released her carelessly and walked around to examine the stone, then the surrounding forest. He mumbled to himself, looking more and more mad. The whole time she huddled on the ground, afraid to catch his attention by moving an inch.
Eventually the demon stomped back to the spot and picked up one of his chains. He examined the worn metal. Patty heard a growl start in his throat, then suddenly he threw back his head and roared. It was the most terrifying sound Patty had ever heard, filled with anger and a promise of murder and destruction.
When he stopped, he dropped the chain and came back to where Patty sat trembling in fear.
"Stand up, human, now!" The demon ordered.
Patty stood quickly. Would he let her go now? She had told him the truth, and his anger seemed directed at this mage who had captured him who knew how long ago-
"I am not ungrateful, human, for you seem to have released me from a decade long spell." He reached out a hand and took her chin between his thumb and forefinger. Patty held still despite the urge to flinch away. "I can feel it in my body, now that I have thought for a moment. I am drained of magic, and will need to replenish. Then I will go find that damn mage." His mutterings were more to himself than to Patty. "Killing him over a single day is too kind, I will trap him and make him suffer for a decade."
Patty spoke before she could think better of it, "Well, you seem to have a lot of things to take care of so I'll just go and get out of your way."
