Young Jamie Sawyer, who had just recently turned nineteen, was sad and lonely with Christmas soon to come. He had lost both his parents young and had no siblings or family to speak of. But that never stopped him or deterred him from helping as many people as he could. He spent many hours donating his time and help to food kitchens, children's homes, and cleaning up streets and parks. And lots more than just that.
But that didn't help at all to what he felt inside; sad, lonely, and wishing he were someone else. And not just anyone else, but that of a beautiful young girl who had a mother and father to love her. Jamie was a crossdresser who dreamed of more someday. So to get his mind off his depression and to keep him from being alone and moping this Christmas; his best friend Angie was taking him to New York to visit her family. They would be staying at a very fancy hotel in downtown Manhattan.
Angie was very supportive of Jamie's secret and urged him to finally come out of his/her shell. But he wasn't quite ready just yet. He was a very handsome boy at 5'10" and 185 lbs with an athletic build, bleach blonde hair, and bright blue eyes. He wasn't gay either, for he liked girls very much and had many girlfriends. He just wanted to be one too, really, really badly.
Angie told him to write a Xmas wish to Santa. They laughed about it all the way to New York. The funny thing is Jamie did, write that letter.
Another thing, this story isn't about Jamie Sawyer.

Dipsydot or Dot for short was one of Santa's apprentice miracle faeries in the north pole at Santa's workshop. There were four Christmas Miracle Faeries who were each in charge of three special miracle wishes that Santa would assign to them every Christmas.
These miracles were very special and only gifted to twelve extremely good boys and girls between the ages of eleven and nineteen. So to get one was exceptionally rare and special. Jamie Sawyer was on the list to receive one this year, but again, this story is not about him.
Dipsydot or rather Dot had been an apprentice to her Mom Dipsybelle for the last five years. Her mother was due to retire in two more years. See, a miracle fairy only works as one for 100 years. And then, most often, an offspring of said fairy will apprentice for seven years and then take over the parents position.
Dot had been especially excited this year because she would get to perform her very first miracle this year while her mother supervised. But just one, and only one miracle. Then the next year, two, and finally, all three. All with her mother supervising for the final time before setting her off all on her own. So, as you can see, it was a very big deal to Dot. And she was both extremely nervous and overly excited as well.
On Christmas Eve, they would fly to New York and into the Hotel Jamie Sawyer was sleeping in and give him, or rather her, a brand new life. And no one was more deserving on Christmas than he.
There is only one tiny little problem. Dot had the worst eyesight a fairy had ever had. Even with her special magic fairy bifocals, she was pretty oblivious to just about everything around her. But she hid it fairly well, and no one really knew the true depth of her blindness. Due to the fact her other senses were so heightened. Otherwise, she probably would not be allowed to do what she was training to do for the next 100 years.
Christmas Eve had finally arrived. The elves had finished their toy making and were busily finishing last minute wrapping gifts, loading them into Santa's sleigh and other similar Christmas Eve preparations. The reindeer were becoming restless as they mentally prepared for their long journey around the globe. And Santa was donning his red suit while Mrs Clause darned his lucky socks before he left.
The Miracle Wish faeries were packing their wands into their fairy satchels and doing some last minute GPS coordinating before heading off on their missions to bring miracles and wishes to reality, for three special children each around the planet.
"Are you ready, Dot?"Dipsybelle, Dot's mother, inquired of her.
"Yes, mother. Here I come!"she said back to her mother.
"Alright then! Let's be off!" And the two fairies, both mother and daughter, were off.
