Original Title: Learning To Live With A Spider Demon

- - - - -

"What are you doing?!" Caleb cried out, flexing his arms as he instinctively pulled against the webs that suspended him to the branches above.

Ginko smiled wickedly at Caleb's struggling, her eight eyes gleaming in the moonlight that filtered through the forest canopy. She climbed slowly up his body, her long, segmented legs bracing against the tree behind him. In the process, she revealed her arachnid underbelly-- something he was going to become more intimately familiar with moving forward.

"Shhh, you were the one that wanted to learn more about my body," she purred soothingly. "This is all part of the experience of being with a spider demon."

She ran her fingers up his bare chest as she went, though it did little to distract him from the swaying spider abdomen inching closer to his unguarded groin. Caleb instinctively looked away, his gaze settling on the speckled patterns decorating her spider half's backside. The yellow splotches on black seemed to ripple and shift as Ginko arched its massive form toward him with an unnatural grace, each movement defying what he thought possible. Finding her spot, Ginko gripped Caleb's bound wrists for balance, looking down between them to inspect her handiwork. She could feel the discomfort in his tensed muscles and let out a soft tisk as she noticed him squeezing his eyes shut.

"Caleb... Don't look away." She demanded, her voice firm. "Remember, you agreed to do this."

Caleb hesitated for a moment before slowly opening his eyes and looked down again. He would've jumped were he not tied down, seeing a fuzzy hollow tube inching out from the end of her abdomen towards his fear-fueled semi-erection.

This was Ginko's web spinner, he rationalized to himself. It was just as much a part of her as her face, or her arms, or even the many spider legs he was growing oddly fond of.

It thrummed with roiling inner activity--reaching out on its own as though it were a soft hand in the form of a flesh coloured sock. He knew that inside of it were the many spinnerets Ginko used to produce her silk.

"As I was saying," she continued, her tone turning eager and self-amused. "This is all part of the experience of being with a spider demon."

Caleb grunted without looking up at her. "Is that true? Have you heard of other spider demons having sex using their silk glands?"

Ginko paused for an uncomfortably long moment. She blinked a few times before responding with an airy laugh.

"Oh, well... I'm sure it's happened at least once. But spider demons have a wide variety of ways of pleasuring their mates. This method is simply the appropriate next step for us--fun, fresh, and not too overwhelming," She explained, gesturing thoughtfully with one hand to no one in particular. She explained, gesturing thoughtfully with one hand as though making her case to an unseen audience.

Caleb couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, his growing apprehension evident as he tried to make eye contact with her. It was clear she was saying whatever it took to ease his concerns, but her confident tone only made him more suspicious.

However, as drastic as this step seemed, Ginko knew there were worse things she could show him; things that would mortify Caleb if he had the faintest idea. This was going to be a lot for him to process, but she also needed to sate his curiosity about her--an ember she intended to stoke gently. She would nurture his curiosity gently, revealing just enough to make him feel safe in her presence. All the while, she would keep the darker truths of her nature carefully hidden beneath the surface, never to be revealed.

"Trust me," she purred, her voice low and seductive. "You'll like this. I promise."

With that, she slowly brought her abdomen down towards him.

Caleb watched with a mixture of awe and apprehension as Ginko's web spinner, quivering and glistening with moisture, descended towards his throbbing manhood. It extended out, planting a featherlight kiss on the underside, its questing lips living cool wet marks as it weakly worked its way up. He couldn't look away for even a moment, seeing how tenderly it moved, feeling Ginko's concentration as she used her body in this new way. Then slowly the tube drew away, but he could see that his manhood was now covered in faint white strands that pulled at him, digging into his sensitive skin.

Like strings holding up a puppet, Ginko's silk gland now held Caleb's manhood, carefully tugging towards its opening. He watched, his breath hitching in anticipation, as the pink, fleshy tube quivered and pulsed, as if preparing to devour him.

"How are we doing?" Ginko asked, her voice now dripping with lust and anticipation.

Caleb could only nod, his breath coming in short gasps as he dealt with the unfamiliar sensation of Ginko's silk. He could imagine her grinning wickedly, seeing the few delicate strands teasing and tantalizing his most sensitive areas as they pulled tighter. This was definitely more fun for her than it was for him.

"Hmm... That's not enough webs, is it?" Ginko mused to herself, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Let's see how you handle a little more, shall we?"

Before Caleb could respond, Ginko's silk gland began to vibrate, the ridges curling outwards as wet, hot webs exploded outwards. He gasped out immediately, feeling a surge of pressure and cloying stickiness as they enveloped his manhood, plastering against his skin. The heat was intense, like being dipped in warm honey, and he could feel the webs slowly spreading outwards, coating every inch of his sensitive flesh in their syrupy embrace.

Ginko licked her lips, almost salivating at the sight of Caleb's manhood disappearing beneath the waves of webbing. She loved seeing his hips twitching involuntarily as the unfamiliar sensations washed over him. Several of her legs then dipped towards him--their tips dragging out dripping strands of her fresh silk, working like a sophisticated machine to tightly encase the rest of his waist.

Caleb felt the webs tug and pull at his skin, Ginko's spinnerets working diligently to wrap him up like a fly in a spider's web. The strands seemed to strengthen the longer they were exposed to the night air, clinging to every contour of his body as they wound around him. The heat of her silk was intense around his most sensitive areas, the contrast sending shivers up his spine.

With the webs tightening around him, Caleb felt his manhood once again being pulled towards Ginko's silk gland.

"G-Ginko!" He called out, groaning what he knew would be his final protest.

Ginko intentionally didn't acknowledge him; her head tilted instead to appreciate the new calluses she saw on his hands.

"You've been working very hard, haven't you?" She said, tracing a finger over his roughened palms, sending tingles up his arms.

"All that manual labor..." Her voice was tinged with admiration and desire. "I really do appreciate that shed you built, Caleb."

Caleb swallowed hard, his mind foggy with arousal. "We're talking about the shed? Now?"

"Such devotion," she purred, leaning in close to kiss his hands. "...It makes me want to reward you properly."

Sensing that Caleb was appropriately distracted, Ginko took the opportunity to strike.

Caleb was looking up during the moment when his manhood, now tightly wrapped in a layer of silk, was enveloped by Ginko's silk gland. It engulfed him in one quick motion, the soft fleshy tube slithering over his skin like a second layer as it drew him in.

He gasped at the organic heat of Ginko's silk gland, the sensation unlike anything he could've imagined in his wildest dreams. There were hard ridges inside that pressed along his length, each one slowly letting out hot, sticky webbing that filled the vacuous space. He could then feel those webs being pulled deeper into her gland, the muscles within squeezing and contracting around his penis in an intimate embrace. He was breathing hard and fast, with Ginko's entire body shuddering around him, her clawed fingers intertwining with his as she let out an unexpected guttural moan.

Caleb's eyes wandered, watching in amazement as Ginko's abdomen undulated with each gentle thrust of her body. He found the sight of his manhood disappearing into her silk gland to be as unsettling as it was erotic. He could feel himself growing larger inside of her--his erection straining against its confines, making the ridges of her spinnerets dig in deeper with every new contraction.

Ginko moaned again, her fingers tightening their lock around his until her claws left marks on his skin. "You have no idea how good that feels," she breathed, her voice heavy with lust.

He however could hardly respond. His eyes were feeling heavy as the heat of her body began to sully sink into him.

"Ginko..." he breathed, unsure of what to say or what to do.

He wanted to look up into her eyes, but he settled on letting his head fall forward, resting on the segmented carapace underneath her waist.

Ginko smiled to herself, understanding the significance of this subtle gesture, despite not being able to see Caleb. In lieu of hugging him, she slid her legs in behind his back, cradling him against her lower half.

"Shhh, just relax and let me take care of everything," she purred, leaning in to kiss his fingers fondly.

Caleb shivered as Ginko began to slowly rock back and forth, her hips undulating in a hypnotic rhythm. He wanted this. Not just to be loved by her, but to learn more about her; which is why he'd agreed to let her do this.

He was becoming worried that the only bits of her he found attractive were the parts that were already mostly human. That momentary concern was now gone. Buried hilt deep inside of her silk gland, and feeling oddly comforted by her legs pressing him into the hard ridges of her carapace; he knew he had crossed over that bridge.

There was something still bothering him. Was it inadequacy gnawing at him? The way Ginko loomed larger than life, both physically and in spirit, a force of nature who carried their survival on her back--was he just a burden, unable to provide for her? That thought was halted as her legs squeezed around him, and she let out a shuddering, desperate cry. Her breaths came in sharp after that, and he looked up to see her blinking back tears. No. That wasn't it either.

Perhaps it was her thieving, the way she prowled the desert nights and plundered without remorse, providing for them both like it was her birthright. Caleb considered himself moral, but even that didn't sit right. He knew this world was different, harsher--there were no merchants that would haggle with demons, and no jobs either. Ginko never took more than they needed, and her sharp sense of honour, at first hidden below her rough exterior, wasn't lost on him. As the question knotted tighter in his chest, Caleb paused, feeling a sudden pressure building up inside of him.

An intense wave of pleasure washed over him as Ginko's silk gland contracted around his manhood, her body understanding what was happening even before he did. His breath caught in his throat, and he buried his face against her chitinous exoskeleton, overwhelmed by the sensations coursing through his body.

Ginko sensed his surrender to the moment and smiled wickedly. "That's it, my love. Inside!"

Ginko's strange, yet wonderful body, pulsed and contracted in response. It urged him on, coaxing out the orgasm from deep within. Caleb let out a throaty hissing, his hips bucking wildly as he spilled himself into the slick, hot depths of her silk gland. His seed leaked out in copious amounts, the webs that coated him greedily slurping it up with great satisfaction. Caleb shuddered and twitched as he emptied himself completely into her, his manhood throbbing with each pulse of his release.

When he was spent, Ginko carefully eased her grip on his fingers. Slowly, she retracted her silk gland from around his softening member, the ridges on the inside cleaning off any remnants of his seed as it pulled back.

He laid there, basking in the moment and confusion, until he felt a claw prodding at the back of his hand.

"Ah, what's this?" He heard her say, her lust laden voice laced with sudden curiosity.

He tried to look up, only able to tell that Ginko was seeing something there he couldn't.

"Caleb..." Ginko started, her voice concerned. "It looks as though you've been marked by a Daughter of Corruption."

- - - - -

Caleb lay draped across Ginko's body in their shared web hammock. She lay back first on her silk which comfortably suspended her irregular size, while her legs curled inward to keep Caleb pressed into her belly. Despite the warmth of her skin and the faint, rhythmic sound of her breathing, sleep eluded him. His thoughts wandered back to the earlier conversation they'd had--about the invisible mark she'd noticed on the back of his hand. He lifted his hand in the low light, staring at the spot she'd pointed to. He could see nothing unusual, although he did occasionally feel an itching on that spot whenever he seemed to worry about something.

Ginko had called it the demon's mark, one that came from a Daughter of Corruption. They are exceptionally rare and powerful, she'd said, describing them as the direct offspring of the Goddess of Demons. Her tone at the time had been remarkably casual, even dismissive, as though it were nothing to worry about. She'd told him the mark was likely a trace left when he'd first been summoned to Mayko, a means for some greater force to keep tabs on him, as though he were a pawn on a game board. But when Caleb had pressed for more, Ginko had only shrugged and reassured him. "Daughters of Corruption won't interfere with another demon's business. They haven't done so since the war between demons and humans." That explanation hadn't assuaged his worries, and so she continued. "You're mine, Caleb, and I'd never let another demon take you."

It was meant to be comforting, but the possessive edge to her voice had left him with an unease he couldn't shake. Even now, hours later, her words echoed in his mind. A demon's mark. Was that what he was? A frail human, brought to this world to be picked off like sport? Was that how she saw him? He trusted her in ways he didn't think possible, but this thing on his hand felt like an invisible chain, binding him to some inescapable fate he wasn't privy to understand.

The hammock shifted beneath him, drawing him from his thoughts. Ginko stirred, one of her long legs curling slightly as her black eyes fluttered open. She blinked down at him, a faint glimmer of irritation in her half-lidded gaze that softened when she noticed his troubled expression.

"Still awake?" she murmured, her voice low and drowsy. "You'll drive yourself mad if you keep staring at your hand like that."

Caleb lowered his hand, hesitating. "I was just...thinking."

Her abdomen twitched in what he recognized now as amusement. "Clearly. So what's on your mind this time, hmm? The mark? The Goddess? Me?" Her voice carried that sly, teasing lilt, though she softened it with a quiet yawn.

He let out a breath, leaning back slightly in the hammock. "All of it, I guess. But mostly...you."

Her eyes narrowed playfully, and she propped herself up slightly on her elbows, gazing at him with interest. "Oh? Finally curious about your captor, are you? Well, what do you want to know, Caleb?"

He hesitated, unsure how to phrase his question. "How do you know so much about magic? You talk like it's second nature, like you've spent your whole life mastering it. Is that just...something demons know?"

Ginko raised an eyebrow, then laughed softly. "All demons can use magic, but few actually understand it," she explained, lazily stretching her legs one at a time. "It's because of what we are--or, more accurately, what we were. Every demon started as a spirit. The Demon Goddess created us to spread sin, but when she gave us flesh, most of us got a little...distracted."

"Distracted?" Caleb repeated, frowning.

She grinned, her sharp teeth glinting. "Oh, yes. This." Then she grasped his face between her long, black fingers. "This mortal coil we're wrapped up in? It's intoxicating, Caleb. Flesh. Hunger. Lust. Pride. The senses. You humans are born with all that, so maybe you don't realize how overwhelming it can be to have it suddenly thrust upon you. Most older demons have forgotten how it felt to be immaterial, and newer generations never experienced it. They revel in sensation, in their selfish desires, leaving their origins behind. I, however, did not."

"Why didn't you?" he asked, curious despite himself.

Ginko shook her head, leaning in closer. "Did you know? Spiders are worshipped for their wisdom, at least in this world. The difference between weak demons and strong ones is understanding: knowing that we exist as a reflection of humanity. We're your dark counterparts, your temptations made flesh. And that's why demonic magic works the way it does. If a demon tries to use their power for themselves, it's weak. Limited. But when they use it to fulfill a mortal's wish--especially a sinful one--then it's powerful. That's what makes us what we are."

Caleb mulled over her words, his brow furrowing. "How does that work with humans like me?"

Her grin widened. "Humans like you? You mean outsiders, summoned into this world?" She tilted her head, her red eyes gleaming. "It's simple. You were chosen because you wanted to be here."

"What?" Caleb spoke unbidden, unable to contain his shock.

"Oh, don't look so surprised," she said, laughing. "Your soul must have been screaming for escape from that dull little world of yours. This place, this chaos, this danger--it's exactly what you wanted, isn't it? You admitted it to me yourself."

Caleb stared at her, the weight of her words sinking in. He knew that she hadn't misspoken, and yet it burned him about the flippancy of how she said it. It was true, he was unsatisfied with his previous life, but what could she know about it? And that's when it hit him, the thing that had been nagging at him this entire evening.

"Did that satisfy your curiosity?" Ginko asked, a satisfied smile slowly spreading on her face as she settled back down onto the hammock. "I'd like to get to sleep some time tonight."

"It's not a dull place." Caleb said out loud, turning to look at Ginko, whose satisfied smirk slowly vanished as she stopped herself from settling back down.

"You wouldn't know, because I haven't spoken about it," Caleb continued, more firmly this time. He pushed himself up to face Ginko fully, his eyes locking with hers. "My world, it's not perfect, but it's not dull either. And I didn't want to escape it. I wanted things to change. You can't sit there and act like you know me, when you haven't so much as asked about what my life was like before, or what I might have lost in coming here."

After a moment, she sighed, her tone uncharacteristically quiet. "You're right," she admitted, her voice lacking its usual teasing edge. "I've been...careless. Rude, even."

Caleb blinked, startled by the rare humility in her words.

Ginko continued, her eyes fixed on him now with a rare sincerity. "It wasn't fair of me to talk about your world like I understood it. The truth is, I don't. But you have to understand something about demons, Caleb. We don't think the way you do. Our magic--it's not fair. At its worst, it twists desires into something cruel. When you were brought to this world, it wasn't fair, or just. You weren't to blame. That's the nature of what we are, the nature of what we demons do."

The silence that followed was heavy but not uncomfortable. Caleb shifted awkwardly on top of her, his thoughts now tangled in guilt for his outburst, but something in Ginko's gaze told him that she was looking at him in a way she hadn't before. For the first time, he felt like the cracks in her confident exterior were showing, revealing something more vulnerable beneath.
