[Story idea by Shveek]
On a bright and sunny day, birds were singing, the sky was blue, and Melinda was faceplanting onto a table.
"It's not that bad, right?" asked her best friend Tera.
"No... but it's so annoying!" Melinda couldn't help but sigh.
It was a small tiny thing but it had been bothering her more and more. Sometimes, someone's personality isn't in line with what they desire. She knew she was a bit... shy. Her love life was a perfect example.
She was blessed to have a wonderful boyfriend, but he had been the one to get to know her. He was the one who talked to her over the course of months before finally confessing while she stammered like a dead a fish. He was the one who initiated sex and he was the one always on top.
She wanted to be on top! She wanted to be the one to be lewd and sexual and not stammer like she was a virgin who was having their first time!
"Sigh. Why can't I be dominant for once?!"
Tera just rolled her eyes.
"Because you're a total sub? I'm actually fairly shocked we're having this conversation at all."
Melinda felt her cheeks get a little red.
"This is different! Different! Besides, I've known you forever and you talk about sex all the time. So, so it's fine right?!"
Tera just laughed at her.
"So, why don't you just, I don't know, be assertive? Just push him down, rip off his clothes, grab his cock and-"
"I can't do that! That's just... every time he looks at me I just... melt."
Tera chuckled while Melinda's face started becoming a particular shade of tomato.
"Hmm. So it's the looks right? I kinda figured that when you texted me about this. Have you considered having him wear a blindfold?"
Melinda thought about it.
"Hmm, I mean, I guess that could work?"
Tera nodded along with her and then said,
"But that would be totally boring."
"Huh?"
Melinda looked at her in confusion as Tera smirked.
"You think I only came up with such a boring method. Tsk tsk. I got something special for you!"
Tera then proceeded to pull out a bottle from her bag and put it on the table. The bottle had red swirling liquid in it that seemed to grasp the soul. It moved in ways liquids don't move and seemed to bend light around it, like it was absorbing it. Making it seem like it glowed.
No wait, it really was glowing!
Melinda couldn't but stare at the swirling red glowing... potion? In front of her.
"What on earth is that?!"
"An invisibility potion!"
Melinda felt like she had lost her hearing because there was no way the words that were just uttered were correct.
"What."
"An invisibility potion!"
Melinda frowned and thought. No, no she definitely didn't have any chocolate before bed. No pizza either. She shouldn't be having such weird dreams. She mentally grabbed her ears, polished them, and put them back on her head. Those words definitely sounded like her friend just gave her something impossible. Maybe this was just the new name for some type of special alcohol? That.... Glows?
"Earth to Melinda, this is a potion that makes you invisible."
Melinda finally couldn't take it any more.
"That's impossible! Magic isn't real! What type of weird dream is this?!"
"Not a dream! And besides, who are you to say what's real and what's not? Anyway, one sip of this, total invisibility! I got it specially made for uh... well, I don't mind having another one made."
Judging by Tera's not at all shy smirk, Melinda could guess what she was going to use this potion for. Wait, no!
"Are you really telling me magic is real?!"
"Yup!"
"Why didn't you tell me this... ever?!"
Tera just shrugged. Right, this was Tera, that tracked. That girl definitely has a screw loose or two.
"We, we haven't talk about magic more!"
Tera looked at her weird.
"Are you sure? You're pretty shy so..."
"What have you been using magic for?!"
They bickered back and forth for a bit about that before finally getting back to the topic at hand.
