This story is supposed to be called A Small Price to Pay for Magical Exploration~ But that didn't fit in the title. Anyways this story is pretty short and mainly focuses on tentacles so I hope you enjoy!
Anastasia hummed as she read over the little book she had bought. Supposedly it was a spell book which you would think would be super expensive. A master witch inscribing detailed instruction on paper for anyone to copy! The little shopkeeper had told her to take it for free! What luck, right?
At first she had been skeptical but after making a vase float up in the air she knew this was the real deal... she had broken the vase when she lost concentration on the spell. But that was a small price to pay for magical exploration.
The book seemed to be enchanted too, always flipping to whatever pages she needed. There had been that time she summoned some soup while she was sick, and the time she had been able to repair a broken part in her car. And of course she couldn't forget the time she accidentally made her tits way bigger than she meant to. Of course the book also provided a reduction spell for her. They were still a tad larger than she would have liked, but it was a small price to pay for magical exploration.
"I think we should try something new." She muttered to herself looking over the thing. Right now she was reading a spell that supposedly would summon a little maid entity. Something that could cook and clean for her. Anastasia was unsure about summoning something into her home, but that didn't stop her from wanting to try it all the same.
After all, it was a small price to pay for magical exploration. The phrase stuck in her mind every time she was hesitant about something. And it always helped her realize that she should just go for it. The consequences of her actions could be dealt with after the fact.
"A small circle of salt... candles around the edges... chalk lines as so..." A small image was under it showing the lay out, "a squid? Why a squid?" This puzzled her then she just shrugged and went about finding all of those items... except for the squid. She lived in the middle of nowhere hours away from the ocean. Then she gently hit her forehead... due just see if the book can summon you one.
She flipped through the pages until she found a summon spell. Then the book flipped itself to a different summoning spell. Ana shrugged again, speaking the ancient words to see what would happen. A small portal opened above her and a big black squid was dropped out of it. Though... It didn't really look like any squid she had seen. It had many eyes and it looked like at least four more tentacles than it should. Was this what the book meant by a squid? Maybe it was from the deep ocean or something. She didn't care, gently picking it up trying not to retch at the gross feeling of slime. Though after a few moments of holding it it wasn't so bad.
"Cool that looks like everything... Moving on to step... three." Step one was gathering and step two was putting everything in its place. She had done that now step three was... read the words. She did as asked, reading the ancient words. It was a lot longer than her normal incantations, but eventually it was done.
A black fog sprung up from the center of the circle swirling and building in size until it settled. Revealing a mass of tentacles clawing their way out of a large portal that was now on her floor. She stared at it for a long time wondering if she had done the spell wrong. Ana had imagined an imp or maybe a ghost or something would help her... not this... thing? It was weird transfixing to look. The way they all moved in different ways. Like each feeler had a mind of its own.
Looking down at the book she read the next step... Sit on the Tentacles. Maybe she should have read all of the instructions before she started to do this. Sitting on them seemed like the worst idea honestly. What if they dragged her down or strangled her or something. Then that thought came back to her. It's a small price to pay for Magical Exploration.
She paused contemplating the worst that could happen then she finally decided... Fine, I will see what happens.
So she turned around facing away from the tentacles then she made a move to sit like there was a chair there. It quickly became apparent that they were not going to form a chair but she was already on her way down and she fell into them. They wrapped around her like a big blanket. There weren't suction cups on these ones. She quickly realized before they started to move around her. Grabbing at her wrists and ankles she was pulled apart into an X shape. Then they tore at her clothes. Not that she had been wearing much, only a shirt and some panties.
