The woods were far less dangerous than Sir Jameson remembered. Although it has been many years since he was on the ground. Usually he bypasses the forest completely with his dragon. The walk was much more peaceful than he remembered; the birds were chirping, and you could see that the forest was beginning to wake up. Deer were beginning to run around, and for once Jameson was glad that he got the chance to take this route once more, even if it took his dragon and lifelong friend getting poisoned to force him on it.
It was almost as if his thoughts had jinxed him, as not 10 minutes later he found himself surrounded by a pack of wolves. He looked around and could see about 16 of them. A couple of wolves would be no problem, but 16.16 will be hard. as if it were out of patience on Wolf lunged at him. He cut it down in midair just as two more wolves lunged at him. One was cut down, but the other went for the horse. taking it by the neck, bringing the beast down. Jameson did a roll to keep on his feet. As he took the head of the wolf that took his horse. just as the largest wolf took a bite out of his shoulder. How it got up behind him, he didn't know. He quickly brought his sword down into the wolf's side, and with its death, the other wolf looked like an older wolf who took off running with the others in toe.
Now wounded and horseless, he grabbed his saddlebags and began to hike on. Although not long after he saw in the corner of his eyes, trees began to move. He turned around to try to catch one moving, only to see it right behind him and immediately send him flying. Jameson landed with a thud, and he could swear he heard a rib break. As he tried to get up, his suspicion was confirmed. He looked at the moving tree now charging after him, and he quickly looked around for anything that could help him. As he turned around, he saw the end of the forest. a blessed sight. He got up just in time for the tree to get to him and send him flying once more. If there was one good thing about this, it's that he was being thrown in the direction of safety. He then hit a tree at the edge of a clearing. He quickly as he could rolled away from the trees, and just as he suspected, the moving tree stopped at the edge of the forest as if daring him to come back in. That was a dare he was not going to take his foe up on.
Painstakingly, the knight got up and took in his surroundings, and as if a beacon in the dark, in the distance he saw a temple made of silver and blue glass. From his teachings, he knew that this was the temple of Luana, the elven goddess of the moon, and the carnal desire that comes with it. It was a place that he has been meaning to visit. The moon elves that tend the temple are amazing healers and even better lovers. Their goddess requires them to sleep during the day and awake at night and to seek out sexual release whenever they can. Every night if there is no one to tend to, to help them release, they will help each other. It was about midday when the knight reached the temple. There was not a soul to be seen. The priestesses seem to have disappeared during the day, and no one has seen them sleeping. He hoped for the best as he collapsed on the ground and darkness consumed him.
