Authors note: I've decided to stop titling the chapters, the character limits are just making it too hard to fit something decent.
After reviewing the girl's clothing, Jane quickly decides they need all new panties, and bras, and honestly, plenty of new clothes. She decides to focus on the panties and some sports bras initially, as well as some comfy clothes to wear around the house, and then take them out to try things on eventually, once things calmed down. "Do either of you need anything else?" Jane says.
"We could use some groceries, Mistress." Lucia says. "And some feminine products."
"Here." Jane says, handing Lucia her phone, open to her grocery list. "Add what you think we need, and pass it to Alexia."
A few minutes later the list was complete, and Jane tells the girls "Enjoy your day off ladies. Full grocery shopping is tomorrow, I'll probably leave early. I'll get what I can at one store tonight though. Don't let Robert get into too much trouble."
"Yes Mistress." They both say, at the same time, and then burst out laughing.
"Any special rules regarding Robert this afternoon?" Alexia asks.
"It's Lucia's day/night, so if you want to play with Robert, make sure she is fine with it." Jane tells Alexia.
"He's all mine today." Lucia says quickly. "You can tease all you want though."
"Damn" Alexia says. "I'm horny."
"I don't need to hear this." Lucia complains, and walks out of the room.
"You did well today. I'm sure we will find a way to have some fun tonight, even without Robert." Jane teases.
"Thank you Mistress. I really need it." Alexia says, giving Jane an unexpected hug.
"Robert must be rubbing off on you." Jane says, voice a bit muffled from the embrace.
"Maybe a bit Mistress." Alexia says.
Jane decides to visit a few stores before going to get dinner. She starts at a lingerie store she knows is having a buy 10 for $20 sale, managing to snag each of the girls 5 thongs that she knew would drive Robert wild, as well as a lacy set of lingerie for each, before heading to the local big box store to get some more utilitarian clothing, as well as a few items from the grocery list. Afterwards she heads to the local Chinese place that Robert loves. She's more than a little relieved to see that they are actually open.
"Hi Miss Jane." Mrs Chen, the owner of the restaurant greets her. "I haven't seen you in a few weeks, do you want your usual, to go?"
"Not quite. It'll be the usual, and two extra meals." Jane goes on to give the girls order to her.
"Give us about 20 minutes. If you don't mind waiting here, I was hoping to get a chance to talk to you." Mrs Chen asks.
"I'll be here." Jane says, sitting at a booth.
Mrs Chen heads to the back to give her daughter and husband the order, and then comes back out. "I was worried I wouldn't get to see you again. That's half of the reason we are still open." she says, sitting down across from Jane.
"What can I do for you? You could have just called, you guys probably have our phone number from our previous orders." Jane says.
"I would have if you hadn't come in soon." Mrs Chen says. "It's about my granddaughter, Mei.
"I remember her, I don't think I've seen her around in a few years though." Jane says.
"She helps in the back, but she started getting the wrong kind of attention working the front counter." Mrs Chen says. "Just like when her mother works the front."
"I hate that. Probably for the best to keep her away from it though." Jane responds.
"Yes, but I can't protect her anymore. We keep expecting to get raided any day. I don't want her being given to one of those type of people." Mrs Chen says. "Have you and Robert been tested yet? I heard a rumor that some people are being allowed to claim women. If you two could take her, I would know she was safe."
"I wish I had known." Jane says. "If we could take her, you know we would. Robert would be happy to have her just for her cooking skills, and if she has turned out anything like her mother and grandmother, I'm sure she is gorgeous. But we already claimed two girls the day we got tested, one of them was in trouble, and we couldn't say no when she asked, and she had a cousin at home who has no one else in the world, so we agreed to take her as well so that they weren't separated."
"I was afraid of that when you said 4 meals instead of two." Mrs Chen said, looking defeated. "I only had a few customers I would have trusted her with, and the others say they didn't get a claim."
"Only a few dozen people in the county did, as far as I can tell." Jane says. "Robert and I are green cards though, and we should get get priority when bidding, if I'm understanding correctly. If she is here today, I'd like to talk to her, and make sure she would get along well with everyone. If she is, we will bid on her, and do everything we can to get her."
"Thank you Jane." Mrs Chen responds.
"Does she know about this?" Jane asks.
"She does. You may not have spotted her, but she knows who you both are, it's easier to see out of the kitchen than into it." Mrs Chen says. "She is on board with the idea."
"Do you want to bring her out here so we can talk?" Jane asks.
"I'd rather not take her anywhere someone who walks in can see her." Mrs Chen says. "I'm not taking any chances with my only grandchild. Come back with me to the office, and then I'll get her."
Jane got up and followed Mrs Chen down the back hall to the little office behind the kitchen, taking the seat she offered while Mrs Chen went through the door that connected straight to the kitchen. A few moments later a grown up version of the girl Jane remembered came through the door. Slightly shorter than Jane, with a trim figure with some curves. Mei's father was white, but had run off after one too many domestic violence incidents with Mei's mother led to a warrant being issued for his arrest.
"Hello." Mei says, holding out her hand to Jane.
"Hi Mei. You've really grown up." Jane responds.
"Thank you." Mei says. "Grandmother says you can't claim me today, but you are willing to bid on me?"
"Yes, we already claimed two Hispanic girls, cousins who are 18 and 23. How old are you by the way?" Jane asks.
"I just turned 19. Are you ok with taking in more girls? I really don't want to go to a stranger, and you were my first choice, but I don't want to be a burden either." Mei says.
"Robert and I both got green cards, I can't imagine the government is going to let us go with less than 5, it may as well be a lovely young lady whose family we know." Jane says. "Why don't you sit down and tell me a bit about yourself? I know about your parent's situation from your grandmother over the years, so no need to get into that. What are your hobbies? Do you have any special skills, were you going to school for anything? Sell yourself to me, as they say."
Mei takes a moment to think and says "I'm into computers, video games, I read a bit, but probably not anything you've heard of. I had just started school for business management, with a minor in IT. You know my grandma and my mom, so you probably already know I was taught how to keep a tidy house, do laundry, and of course I can cook. I can figure out most computer issues if you give me time and the internet. Grandma has been teaching me how to do the books here for a while, so I'm decent with budgets and finances."
"That's all great. One of our girls is kind of filling the cooking and cleaning role, but I'm sure she would like help, and Robert would probably appreciate not being the only tech savvy person in the house. What genre of books do you read? Robert and the girl that cooks have started their own little two person book club." Jane asks, thinking that this was looking good so far.
"It's mostly not books really." Mei blushes just a bit, but continues. "I mostly read smut from the internet."
"Oh." Jane says. "Robert probably does that, though I've never asked."
"I wouldn't mind participating in a smut club." Mei says with a smile and laugh.
"I think you and Robert will get along well. So to touch on a more personal subject, you do understand what being a concubine entails? And are you ok with that?" Jane asks.
"I understand, and honestly, it excites me." Mei says. "I haven't dated in a few years, and I'm a little tired of being my only romantic partner."
"I can definitely understand that." Jane asks. "Do you mind if I ask what kind of sexual experience you have from your dating life?
"I'm not afraid to talk about my kinks or experience." Mei says, almost gleefully. "I've still technically a virgin I guess, but I've done oral and anal. Just toys in my pussy though, no boys."
"You certainly sound adventurous." Jane says. "Anal before vaginal, and you guys aren't even Catholic."

I would of course not do anything you didn't want me to."
"It's fine, it sounded wrong because the whole situation is weird. It's not exactly a new situation for Robert or I, though. We were into poly before all of this started, and had a few girlfriends." Jane explains. "As for getting some of Robert's attention, I'm sure you will. Even with two other girls in the house, I suspect he will be very accommodating. Robert is a very considerate lover, I suspect you will find him much more to your taste than your ex boyfriend."
"That's a relief. He always seemed nice when I was younger, but you never really know." Mei says. "I'm sure your food is ready by now, is there anything else I can say or do to help you feel more comfortable bidding on me? I know spending significant money on someone you barely know isn't exactly comfortable for most people."
"You've already convinced me. Do you mind if I take a photo of you for Robert? He gets a little weird about the process of bringing in new girls, and since he hasn't seen you in years, I don't want him picturing 12 year old you and getting weirded out." Jane asks.
"Absolutely. Do you want nudes, or just a regular photo?" Mei asks.
"I don't think we need to do nudes, just a photo with your face in it so he can see you are all grown up, and also so he can recognize you at the auction, if they don't let me in." Jane says.
Mei stands up, doing a bit of a pose. "Feel free to take as many as you want, I want to be sure he knows I'm all grown up." she says. She smiles next, waiting until she sees Jane's flash go off, and then turns around, sticking out her ass a bit, and then moving to a sideways pose. "If you think he will appreciate nudes, I don't mind. As you said, I'm an adventurous girl."
