It wasn't but a few hours that Janeway's ship pulled not far from me. I nodded as I pulled Janeway onboard, she just shook her head.

"I forgot that you could do this. So, you have improved here, a good thing, I believe. Hello Rommie," she said when Rommie appeared.

"I believe that the Borg are after us, sir," Rommie said, to which I nodded.

"Take care, Captain," I said.

"You also, Captain," Janeway said. Then she winked out as her ship entered the trans-warp conduit.

"Alright let's go Rommie," I said, then watched as the universe portal opened in front of us.

We passed through then suddenly came to a halt. "Rommie? What's going on?" I asked.

"We have lost all engine power, I am getting nothing at all from them," she said.

I was already on the way to the engine room.

As far as I could tell, there was nothing wrong, though I knew different.

"I am detecting nothing wrong with the engines they," Rommie was saying. "John, there is something interfering with the formation of the warp bubble. It also appears that the portals are also blocked."

I started to search the ship, finding something that was attached to the hull of the ship. Unfortunately, every time I blasted it off I always seemed to miss a few cells.

It was a few moments later that several alarms were going off. "John, I am detecting a great many of the energy beings we met before approaching.

Alright, I thought, as I felt that the thing that was attached to the hull was from them. This, of course, increased my temper to the point that I lashed out, destroying another twenty of them.

This, of course, had them all stop several thousand miles away from the ship. A moment later something like the Borg Queen's holo-gram tried to penetrate the ship.

"Sir, I am detecting a type of visual signal that is trying to penetrate. I am not seeing anything else though I am continuing to scan," Rommie said.

I nodded as I stared at the readings, "if there isn't a chance of them taking or entering the ship, allow it."

A moment later what could only be described as a blob of energy in the holo-gram appeared.

Greetings came the mental communication, its thoughts said. I am the supreme leader of the Xelamortidians, those that you destroyed. We have been wrongly imprisoned here billions of your years ago. In their zealousness, the younger acted out, rather hastily.

Uh huh I replied as I thought about what had been said. I then asked to know just who had imprisoned them here. The answer that I received was almost too much to take. My father was an alien? What the hell was going on?

Information started to flood my mind as it was overwhelming me. Before I passed out, I had Rommie watch everything with a new weapon I added before I was out.

I appeared in a gray dreamscape-like area, there was another presence there. Another presence that was by and far more powerful than I was.

I heard a sigh, then another blob type of energy appeared before me. Ah my son, it is far too soon for you to, hmmm, you have been to the universe of the brain energy earthlings. I am sorry that their planet was destroyed, though they are doing well. Had you not touched her engine, then I think you wouldn't be alive now.

With that, he touched my head with a hand that appeared. I started to scream as the pain was far different from anything I had ever felt before. I felt as if my mind encompassed everything in all the universes. I felt that I was immortal, though mortal at the same time.

It felt as if I had been there for billions of years, then I was back in the gray area. When I appeared, I felt far more powerful than I was before all this started. The presence that I felt was my father was less of an energy blob and more almost like an ethereal entity.

You are the first offspring that I have ever managed to sire. Your mother was as perfect as a human could be. I was drawn to her as if my very existence depended upon it. I am or rather was an Xelamortidian many billions of your years ago. I am the one that imprisoned the others here.

Are they really that bad, I asked.

Oh, believe me, they are far worse than almost anything that you could imagine. Then they thought they were gods and all beings in all multiverses were to bow to them. I was approached by a being that to this day I still can not look upon. I am, for lack of a better word, its main helper, my first assignment, as you call it, was to imprison them.

I could feel the pain and sadness that was wafting off the being before me, like a physical event. It was far beyond anything I had experienced before.

It was not the best thing I had ever done, as most of them had been friends. Here the word went far beyond what I knew it to be. This felt like the sharing of souls and ideas and feelings.

I had tears falling as I felt the soul-wrenching sadness and emptiness that invaded me. I tried to look at the being that claimed to be my father.

What, I started. What in the hell do you want of me? I am, according to you, only half what you are. I won't live that long. I am only human.

Here I felt rather than saw the saw that appeared on the now clearer face of the being before me. As I said it started, then only thing that helped to crush the loneliness was your mother. I am sorry that you never got to know her. In my vanity I thought that she was far stronger than she was. I had strengthened her to no avail.

Wait, YOU are the reason that she died? The reason I grew up alone, shunned, feeling as if I was a freak, useless to anyone and everyone? You son of a bitch I shouted as I blasted it, surprising it with the amount of energy that I hit it with. Then there was the fact that I kept it up 'til it waved a hand.

I understand that you are upset," it said.

Upset?! Oh no, I was that long before now, now? I want you to feel the pain that I did! This time I shot out feelings much as it had. I hit it and kept going as I let it have it all.

It was a moment later that I heard the entity start to moan, then cry out in despair. I started to smile, then stopped as all the wicked things that the entities people had done.

I dropped my arms and hands, feeling despair myself. I turned away as I felt sas evil as the entities people had been. I thought to it, you should punish me for what I just did, you have enough to do. I sat waiting for the death, I felt that was coming.

It was what felt like a few minutes though here? Who knew? I couldn't face the entity that had said it was my father. Then I felt what felt like a very strong hand rest upon my shoulder. I tensed up a moment, then relaxed as i thought these were my last moments.

I was then shocked when a powerful voice softly said in my mind, I am not here for your life. I am here to offer you a position. I find that you, like your sire, are truly a force for good. Tell you what, I'll return you to your ship and let you think about it, OK?

I turned around, though I saw no one but the entity that was my father. He was kneeling in my direction, his now clearer mouth hanging open.

You have truly given a chance to do great good. I know that you are part human, so I do not truly know your thoughts. I would be honored to work with you, to see creation through your eyes. I nodded, then was back aboard the ship.

Rommie was squatting above me with a worried look on her face. "John? JOHN!" She suddenly shouted. "I was worried when you suddenly went silent, then fell."

I smiled as I sat up and waved a hand at her. Her eyes suddenly went wide as she started to feel about her body.

"What?" She started, still feeling her body between her legs with an even more shocked look. "I, I am alive? Completely, how is this possible? What is this?" She asked as she looked at me with wide eyes wonder.

"That is what we call a female reproduction organ. If you look within, you will see that you also have female reproductive organs there also," I told her.

"You mean I can be alive all the time and not just for a few minutes to an hour or two?" She asked. When I just nodded with a smile, she threw herself at me, planting kisses all over my face.

"Now then, I have a few things to take care of," I told her as my face hardened into a look of fierce determination.

I flashed out, appearing before the supreme leader, who was more shocked than I thought it would. Strangely enough, it appeared more like an almost human shape than before. Another came floating toward me rapidly as I just held up a hand, knocking it up against something. When it fell unconscious, the leader's eyes went wide.

I smirked a moment as I looked at it, then turned toward the leader. So I started as the leader held up a hand and shook its head no. Ah better, I said. So you think that you and they were wrongly imprisoned here? Shall I see if that is true? I held up a hand as the leader started to scream. Ummm, as I thought, not true.

I felt about twenty that started to rush me. Then they were all on the floor screaming worse than the leader. Now that's twenty-one, should I do the rest? I only feel about a few tens of millions more.

They were all gasping as I released them. The supreme leader started, you will pay, then started to scream again.

I turned away from him as he continued to scream. I panned my hands around the entire room, feeling all of them out there. Hmmm I thought far worse than I thought. I vanished, appearing back on the ship before a surprised Rommie.

A few moments later two shifting areas of energy appeared. I waved a hand as they became solid, both looking at me strangely.

I smiled as I helped the male and female to stand. "It is sad that in all the billions of years, that you are the only two that feel correct. I am prepared to send the two of you to your old home planet, if you wish. The rest I am afraid are staying here.

Both of them were a little disheartened as I was. I looked at what was causing the problem with the ship, then it was gone with a scream.

I looked at Rommie as I opened a portal, I felt the rush of the Xelamortidians toward it. Then there were the screams of hundreds as they were stopped, then smacked back across the empty space.

We were in a much different space than I had ever been in. It was also harder to fly through, as space was more like liquid. I opened another portal, then we landed on what appeared to be a long-abandoned planet.

I saw both of the two that I had brought with me, eyes open wide as they started to glow a bit. I heard the female whisper in awe, "home."

"I will leave you two here and wish that your life will be better than it was in the between," I told them as they bowed to me. I blushed. I was no god, I was, um... I had to think, then said a helper.

They both nodded their understanding, then vanished. I looked at an open-mouthed Rommie as I passed a hand over her forehead. "I am so sorry Rommie," I said.

She seemed still confused for a moment, then nodded her head. "So what and where to now?" She asked.

I started to open my mouth when the both of us were standing before the entity that was my father.

She is indeed a special being, John, it thought to me. To think that you created her. I am glad to see that the old home world is once again with life. I, too, was disappointed that after all this time, that there were only two that are correct. Even with those that you destroyed they still won't change their ways and ideas.

I was thinking that you might have another out there that is of your people. I am sure that if they were old enough, that they could hide from you.

The entity looked at the memory that I had. It was shocked when it discovered that there was one other of his people out there. It also saw that it had no memory of its people. He is happy. I don't want to change that, the entity said.

I nodded as I lifted the ship, then moved away, opening a portal. This time, as we moved through the between, none of the Xelamortidians got anywhere near us. We opened another portal almost immediately as the Earth appeared before us.

"Alright Rommie, let's go home," I told her as we entered the upper atmosphere, then we were in my apartment. For a moment there was no noise, then Mary started to scream.

I immediately reached out and grabbed her, trying to calm her down, this only seemed to make her more agitated. I looked at Rommie for help, then groaned as she just shrugged.

It took a few minutes for Mary to calm down, the whole time she clutched me almost tight enough to break bones.

Once I peeled her off me, she was staring at Rommie, "uh," she started. "Who is this?"

I looked at Rommie proudly as I said, "this is Rommie, she was an A.I. that I created. Now she is another part of our family, considering I thought I had none. I think that now, I have no less than three."

"Three," Mary said as she looked around.

"Yeah, there is also my estranged father. Who I just met today," I told her, at first she was still confused, then clarity hit her.

"You never knew your father and your mother?" She asked, then made an extremely sad face when I shook my head no. "My god, here I thought I was hard off with the creeps that were my parents. I am sorry John."

I nodded as I kept the smile on my face. "It's OK, I never really knew them, so there wasn't all that much to actually miss."

"Still," she continued. "I can't imagine not at least having someone."

"I will be alright. I have the two of you right now, so things are a lot better," I said.

They both nodded as they moved away and started to talk. I shook my head as I thought there wasn't anything as deadly as scheming females.

I reached out to outside the apartment, feeling several vehicles of watchers. I could feel at least ten different agencies, making me shake my head.

I reached out to find who their boss was. I then started to backtrack all of them. I started erasing any knowledge of myself and the others. I sighed one problem locally fixed.

I then started to reach out to all those that I had freed, what I found with most of them was not that good. Most of them felt me, many asking me to remove their 'gifts'. I also removed all memory of their 'gifts' from parents or partners.

It took me a few hours. I hoped that I had removed all memory of them. I then had to start with the world leaders and their military staff. I nearly collapsed when I was done. I shook my head. I thought I had all this power?

I laid down feeling not exhausted though I was very tired. I was extremely surprised an hour later when not one but two warm bodies climbed into bed with me.

I hesitated as they got on both sides of me, putting their arms around me.

"Neither of you have to do this to thank me or anything, I was happy to help," I said.

They both put a finger on my lips to quiet me.

"This isn't about that," Rommie said. "I am doing this because I want and need to."

"I am also doing it for the same reason, though you two are all that I really have. So actually? I am more than happy to do this," Mary said.

I sighed as I felt them draw closer to me, then I fell asleep faster than I thought I would.

I awoke a few hours later with both of them nestled beside me. I gently got out of bed, careful not to disturb either of them. I reached out not feeling any watchers, nor any interest in any of the mind warriors as they had called them.

I sighed, finally I thought no, universe threatened, no beings intent on trying to be god. Nothing to threaten me or mine. Maybe for once we might actually get a rest.

I sat down to watch a little television, huh, I thought, war of the worlds. Flipped the channel, Star Trek, flipped again, Prometheus. I immediately cleared these thoughts from my mind. I didn't need more headaches.

I thought I heard something from the other side of the river near my apartment. I reached out feeling an alien walker from the war of ther worlds. I then heard what was another two or three.

I appeared near what I had heard, in fact finding three walkers. This wasn't happening, I thought, as I wave3d a hand and all three blinked out. I felt several more as I moved around the country, removing all of them.

I stopped, as I thought, "Why am I doing it like this?" I thought a moment then had all of them vanish. I sighed as I thought that was over.

I was about to go back to the apartment when I felt rather than saw the full fleet of Klingon ships. Then there was the fact that they were suddenly in orbit. Damnit, I thought not again.

Then I thought of the third movie. I smiled as I felt more than forty Aliens. I smiled more as I saw that there was at least one on each Klingon ship.

I searched all the earth, making sure that there were no aliens left. I nodded my head as I went to my apartment to wait. A day later I went aboard the Klingon ships finding that well over half of all the crews were dead. Like wise, there were a great number of aliens that were also dead.

I just shook my head as I had all the ships vanish. I appeared in my apartment a few minutes later. There was a huge flash of light, then the entity that was my father appeared. Again, Mary screamed bloody murder at his appearance.

"So," he started, "not as easy as you thought, is it?"

"Huh, I never thought it would be easy. Whatever in the world made you think I thought it would be easy? Nothing about any of this has been easy," I said to him.

The entity just looked at me as if I had lost my mind, then he slowly smiled and nodded.

"So, you are still trying to figure it out, good, good. So I have come to see if you accepted his offer," he said.

"What the hell, I've only been back about a day or two. Give me a damn break geez!" I told him.

The entity nodded, "time is so different in this type of life. It has been somewhat of a while since I used it."

I started to nod, then stopped, for some reason, I thought that this excuse was a load of crap.

"Look, just go, I will give an answer when I have had sufficient time to think about it," I said, it nodded them it vanished. I shook my head as I thought about it. Plus the fact that I thought of him as an it.

"That wasn't all that nice," Mary said.

"Well," I started, "considering that he has been absent ALL of my life? I think it was better than nice. Showing up now to be a father, no, I really don't buy it. He is up to something."

"Do you really think so?" Mary asked.

I nodded as Rommie walked towards me. "I am unsure if he was telling a lie. It is hard with unknown information on him," she said.

I thought about it a moment, then I touched Rommie, placing more information within her. Rommie had a surprised look on her face, then nodded to me.

A few moments, Rommie nodded to me, which caused my anger to rise. Even though I figured that he had been lying, I figured that he'd at least come a little clean.

I was also surprised that the whatever had touched me and mentioned the deal hadn't come themselves. I shook my head as I tried to figure out just what the hell my supposed father was up to.

I took the arms of both women as I strolled out the front of where I lived with each on an arm. I thought for a moment, then we appeared in the same park that I had taken the four captains. Dylan hunt had been right, this place was beautiful.

Now, I just had to figure out what to do next. I just hoped that I was allowed, with as powerful an entity out there as my father's boss.
