As soon as Alana's ghost disappeared I left the graveyard. I knew it would take me a long time to get back to where it started so I walked as fast as I could.
The baby was getting bigger by the day and I knew it wouldn't be long until the baby was born. I could feel the baby move and kick me. Every time the baby kicked I felt a surge of pride. I placed my hand on my bump to try and settle the baby down.
Nearly a week later I was approaching the village that I used to live in. There was no sign of James or Claire.
I had to wonder where they were. I reached the edge of the town and I walked down by the river. I snuck up to the back of my old house. The lights were off in the kitchen. It didn't look like anyone was in. I broke open the kitchen door.
footsteps came from the living room. The kitchen door was opened and the light was switched on. Grandfather he just stood there looking at me.
"What on earth are you doing here?" he asked me.
"I could ask you the same thing grandfather" I said with a laugh.
He pulled me into a hug. "Wow! You're getting big. It won't be long now."
"Yes and that's the problem." I said.
"Did you find out anything?" he asked me.
"Yes, is Jess here?" I asked.
"She's sitting in the living room."
He led me into the living room. Jess was sitting in one of the chairs next to the window.
"Sara?!" she shouted, as she pulled me into a hug. When she noticed the bump she pulled away.
"When did this happen and who is the father?" she asked.
"I'm coming near the end of my pregnancy. The father is my mate Damien. You would know him as John."
She looked at me "I don't know what you mean?"
"Oh really? So your not Alana's older sister?" I asked.
She went white. "How did you know?" she asked.
"Alana told me and I guessed it was you" I said.
"Yes, well Alana did always have a knack for getting me into trouble." she said.
Grandfather looked at her. "You're the missing sister?"
