He was eager to get to work as he had finally got approved to help bring in the harvest this year. He's tried for the last four years to help and he was desperately wanting to get away from home. He was a grown man, it was embarrassing for him to still be staying with his parents.
He would get enough to set himself up in a nice little house and start looking for a wife.
His father had been proud of him when he announced at the beginning of Fall that he was going to work at the Silvertree Farm.
His mother though had been a different story. She only asked him if he was sure about this.
"Yes, ma. You two have worked so hard to provide for me and my sisters. It's about time I get out of here and start providing for myself and help lessen the burden on you two."
He could see tears gathering in the corners of her eyes.
"Just be careful there and don't go in the woods at the south end of the farm. I've heard a lot of strange-goings on happening there."
"What sort of things?"
She shook her head, "during the harvest season, men are lured into the woods by a flute and when they come back, it's four days later and they are drained of energy but instead of being frightened...they're happy. Giddy even."
His father shook his head, "woman, you've been listening to gossip again, have ya?"
"It's not gossip, Tervan! It happened to Argus's' oldest just last harvest. Every time they asked him about it, he got this dreamy look on his face and just smiled. He thankfully just got hitched shortly after that. That Milly girl's got his head on straight now."
"Just let Aeric work and stop filling his head with nonsense."
Aeric rolled his eyes, they were always bickering and sometimes he wondered how they had stayed together all these years.
"Ma, I'll be fine. If it'll make you feel better, I won't go near the south side of the field."
She breathed a sigh of relief, "oh, thank you. That would make me rest a little easier."
It was then that the sound of hooves thudding and wheels scraping over the dirt trail just outside caught their attention.
Aeric stood, nodding to his parents. "that would be Hulen. He's going to be working there too this season."
"Now you two be careful and do as your told, okay? No second-guessing your boss."
"Yessir. Bye, ma."
Then with a wave, he was out the door and tossing his bag into the back of the wagon before climbing up to sit next to his friend.
"Hey, you ready for some hard work, Aeric?"
He shoved his friend's shoulder, "Hey, you're working too, not slacking off like the last job we did."
Hulen laughed, "Well, I know for a fact it's not going to be a complete bore. I heard that Mr. Silvertree's daughter is quite a looker. All long limbs and curves."
Aeric snorted, "It's not all about legs and curves. It should be what's inside that counts the most, Hulen. Sometimes the best-looking women hide the sharpest tongues."
"Well, one thing's for sure...I've got a good feeling about this. It's going to be a harvest for the books."
Aric looked out at the approaching treeline as his stomach twisted strangely. He agreed with his friend.
He could tell that this harvest was going to be different somehow.

It had been uneventful getting to the Silvertree Farm and upon arriving, after getting the horse rubbed down and put away for the night, they had been invited in for a hearty meal as at first light, work began.
Whoever Hulen had talked to had been correct, Mr. Silvertree's daughter was stunning with her braid of dark hair falling over one shoulder and her eyes shining brightly when she smiled softly at him.
Every man at the table had had difficulty keeping their eyes from her.
Including him.
The Next Morning
It was hard work, cutting the wheat down, piling it, and wrapping it before moving on to the next section. After the twelfth one, he ended up peeling his shirt off, wiping the sweat from his forehead and the back of his neck before tucking it into his pocket.
He could feel the sweat pouring down his back as he continued to hack at the stalks of wheat, only stopping when he heard a faint bleating sound and he looked up when the sound came again, but closer to him.
He looked out at the treeline, noticing a little tuft of brown fur wiggling from behind a tree and heard another small bleat.
That was when he took off towards it, thinking that one of Mr. Silvertree's goats had gotten loose and wandered away.
"Hold on, little guy! Let's get you home, okay?"
Then it vanished and his eyes frantically searched the treeline for it until he saw it again, but further in and he grumbled under his breath about stupid goats and their appetites.
He kept pushing into the trees, following that bleating sound until suddenly it sounded behind him and he spun towards it. Then the sound was behind him once again, then behind, and behind again and again until his head was spinning along in its confusion and his vision started to blur. He gripped his head as the trees moved, melting into one dark shape and he recoiled back, feet slipping on the wet leaves and he slipped, falling, hands flailing out, trying to find purchase on something, anything but failing as pain blossomed throughout his head as it bounced off a fallen tree limb and he tumbled onto his back.
Darkness crept over his eyes as his mind began to drift, the soft sound of a flute tickling at his ears.
Strangely comforting through the pain and he was unconscious.
When he finally came to, he clutched his head with a soft grunt, pleased not to see blood when he pulled his hand back. Then a rustle of leaves caught his ear and he looked over and up, right into the bright eyes of Tess Silvertree.
"Tess."
'Well, well, look what I have here. Did you have a little tumble, sugar?"
He shook his head, trying to get rid of the fog in his mind as she walked around him, standing at his feet, hands on her hips.
"Tess?"
She smiled, kneeling down between his legs. She slid her hands up his legs, digging her nails in the divots of his hips.
"Look at this strong man I have at my mercy. What should I do with you?"
"I...uh, need to get back to work, Tess."
"You don't think I haven't seen how you've been looking at me, Aeric? How all you boys been looking at me?"
She preceded to unzip his pants and he quickly grabbed her hands.
"Tess, Ms. Silvertree, I don't think this is-"
"Right? The hell with that. What my daddy don't know, won't hurt him and I've been eying you too."
She pulled his cock out, letting it sit in her hands. She giggled, "oh, you are a healthy one. The biggest one I've seen and it's all mine now. Aren't I a lucky gal?"
She quickly took it in her mouth, moaning softly around it. His head dropped back from the sudden heat engulfing him. Oh, this wasn't right, but damn if her lips didn't feel heavenly wrapped around him.
Her tongue swirled around his tip before sucking hard causing him to gasp and his hands flew to her head, threading into her hair.
Then he's bucking up into her mouth when she digs her thumbs into his hips, his eyes widening as she opens her mouth wide, slowly sliding down over him and his head falls back, hands tangling tighter in her hair as she devours him.
"Holy shit."
She's good...damned good at this.
"Oh, fuck yes. God, Tess, so good."
She continued to bob, sucking harder as she pulled up and opened her mouth wide as she went down again, allowing him to hit the back of her throat.
