The next morning, Noboru awoke feeling rested and looked down to see Angela sleeping with her head on his shoulder, her dark hair strewn all over his chest. At first she thought this was some sort of illusion or that she was hallucinating but she watched as his skin turned white, then grew silvery fur. Despite all this, his face remained serene and he didn't appear to be in pain as his midface pulled forward into a muzzle and his ears migrated to the top of his head and shifted into points. When he had finished, he slowly opened his eyes and stared down at the tiny woman who was lying naked and open mouthed on his bed and held his breath to see if she would flee.
