Olivia awoke with a jolt. Untangling herself from the covered sheet, she sat up with an exasperated sigh. Despite the cool air of the room, her entire body felt hot. Strands of bluish black hair clung to her face and neck, now damp from the layer of perspiration that covered her entire body. Every night for the last week, her dreams were invaded by something inhuman. The first night was brushed aside as simply a combination of her overactive imagination, inactive sex life, and the fact that she was bombarded with Halloween themed content. By this point, she had a constant feeling of unease. It may have been less jarring if the dreams weren't so vivid or detailed, or at the very least, it was the same dream.
Without fail, each night as she drifted off, the haunting figure visited her. His eyes were a shimmery silver, contrasting starkly against the dark blue hue of his skin. Occasionally she would see a smile flash across his face, revealing straight, white teeth. Even his smile had a hint of something otherworldly, as his canines were just slightly longer than that of a human. Two black horns peeked out of the shaggy, black hair that sat atop his head. They were barely visible between the matching color, as well as the small size. She would've thought she was having dreams about fucking someone in cosplay, except the dark shade touched every inch of his skin.
She hadn't told anyone about the odd dreams. Despite the disturbing visuals, it was also very erotic, anytime she thought of speaking to someone about it, she felt a pang of embarrassment at how aroused it made her. Olivia shifted her hips, she was so turned on, her inner muscles ached slightly. She looked at the drawer of her nightstand, catching the corner of her bottom lip between her teeth as she thought about the toy she had tucked away. As she reached her hand towards the small piece of furniture, she heard the distinct pinging noise her phone made whenever she received a text message.
Tonight. You. Me. CORN MAZE!
What? We went last weekend, why can't we do a hayride, or oooooo haunted house
We only did the first half, and besides, some of those guys were yummy
Ok, just let me know what time, and I'll meet you there
Britt was stubborn, so if she wanted to do something specific, nothing would change her mind. Besides, she didn't want to be stuck at home, and she would rather hang out with her best friend, than go out alone. Maybe the corn maze would distract her from her own thoughts. Liv began her day, eventually getting a time for when she needed to meet Britt, and no doubt a few other people. They wouldn't be meeting until later that night, so she had an entire day to kill.
She tried to find things to busy herself with, but the day still crawled by. TV was normally a decent distraction, but she couldn't sit still. Her entire body felt twitchy, as if she had an abundance of pent up energy that needed to be released. Housework helped spend some of the energy, but was mentally boring, and her mind kept wandering back to those dreams. Finally it was late enough she needed to get ready.
It didn't take long for the vast amount of land to be visible, it was only about a mile away from her house, but the corn maze was located on several acres of land that also housed a pumpkin patch, and various other family oriented activities for the season of fall. Liv had opted for a t-shirt, with a long-sleeve cardigan for warmth, and a pair of blue jeans. Despite how thick the material of her jeans was, they did very little to hold warmth, and she could already tell her thighs and ass were cold to the touch. After her previous visit to this particular place, she knew tennis shoes were the best choice, as the ground was uneven. Her dark hair was pulled into a ponytail to keep it off of her neck, but she was beginning to regret that decision, as her ears were already freezing.
As her feet fell on dirt, she began looking around to see if she could spy either Britt or the Honda Accord she would've driven in. Her feet continued moving towards the bonfire as she looked, the place she had told Britt to meet her. Liv took a seat on one of the benches, the warmth from the fire seeping into the parts of her that were devoid of body heat. As her eyes still looked for her tardy companion, she scanned the crowd of people.
One of the men caught her attention, he was wearing a bright orange sweatshirt, which automatically told her he was an employee. She had ignored all of the other orange sweatshirts that dotted the area, knowing they weren't the person she was searching for, but there was something vaguely familiar about him. He stood several inches taller than everyone else around him, his shaggy, black hair the only thing she could see in reference to his face since his back was to her. The sweatshirt masked his upper body, but she could tell his shoulders were broad. When her gaze reached his ass, she couldn't help how one of her eyebrows arched at the site. He turned so his face was finally visible, and she tilted her head slightly as the feeling of familiarity increased.
"Hey!" Britt's sudden greeting coupled with a hand on her shoulder caused Liv to jump.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." Britt lowered herself onto the bench next to Liv.
"Oh you're fine, I was just distracted." Her gaze returned to the employee she had been staring at.
"I swear I know that guy." She moved her chin to gesture towards him.
"Which one?" Devon chimed in, seating himself on the other side of Britt.
"Orange sweatshirt, tall, black hair."
"He was probably working last weekend."
"Yeah, I guess, I just feel like I know him from somewhere else." Liv looked at Britt, deciding to put it out of her mind and was met with Britt mouthing the words "nice ass" to her. Liv couldn't help the laugh that came out. The three of them spent a few minutes talking before Britt stood up.
"We need to head to the corn maze, might take a couple hours to get through the entire thing."
As the trio headed toward the entrance, Liv was laughing at something Britt said, and didn't notice the man directly in her path until she collided with him. Thankfully she felt a hand around her arm, probably the only thing that kept her from landing on the ground. As she regained her balance, she felt goosebumps spread across her entire body.
