Zach's *P.O.V*
I couldn't help but overhear Christina's soft scream. No regular human would have heard it. But I am the Alpha of the 2nd most powerful werewolf pack in the country! Almost impossible for me to not hear! At the moment I was seething with anger. How DARE someone hurt my mate!
Just from following the two girls at the mall for a few hours, I could tell it took a lot to upset the blondie with blue eyes. She is called Christina. So I knew that Holly was hurt... BAD.
I would have already been long gone by now with Holly's father's blood pooling at my feet, if it weren't the fact that I didn't know who or where he was. It sickened me how a man could be twisted enough to murder his wife and rape his only daughter... He killed his wife because she was protecting her daughter and he raped his daughter because she didn't make him breakfast! He needs to be put in an asylum! My thoughts turned back to Holly and I barely suppressed a growl when I imagined how badly hurt Holly must be.
Despite all the anger radiating from me, I couldn't help but also feel a flood of admiration for Holly. She overcame her mother's murder, was beaten and abused almost every day afterwards, and she had just been raped! Despite all of this she still pulled through and came back with a smile.
She will be a strong alpha female. The thought made me smile.
"Poor Holly." Matt blurted. I could tell his heart was probably breaking from her story.
"He is definitely going to pay." I promised.
Matt nodded his approval, not that I needed it. I was the one who made all the decisions for the pack.
"You know... Once you meet her face-to-face, you need to make her know she is safe with the pack."
I agreed wholeheartedly. "She will be with the pack as soon as possible."

No matter how desperately Holly tried to look like nothing was wrong, she failed miserably. I could see her eyes were a little puffy, indicating she had cried. Christina was also soothingly rubbing Holly's arm. Thinking quickly, I walked into their path and Holly bumped into my chest. Then as she was falling backwards, I reached out and caught her..
I couldn't help but stare into her eyes, the unnaturally beautiful green eyes. I mentally slapped myself to wake up. Then I asked if she was alright.
I heard her breath hitch in her throat. I smiled internally, knowing that she was feeling the pull. She seemed to be entranced, so I asked again if she was okay. That was when she snapped out of it and said she was fine. Before mumbling sorry, and walking away.
Holly's *P.O.V*
Holy Mother-Fucking Crap! Who is that total hunk I just bumped into! I felt like a total idiot as I looked at him. He had a nice tan and a totally ripped body, he also had jet-black hair long enough to pull... Hey wait! Did I just say I wanted to pull his hair? Anyway, it was when I reached his sharp and intelligent dark green eyes that my heart melted.
Suddenly I couldn't breathe, everything in my body wanted to get closer and closer to him. I could feel an electric pull between us, like we were magnets. But how is that possible. I just bumped into him and now I want to be with him for all eternity!
I realized he was talking to me, so I said I was fine and sorry. Then I walked away with Christina at my heels. I feel like such an idiot. I looked back at Christina to see a huge grin on her face.
"So..." she started, A mischievous look appeared on her face.
"Don't say it!" I interrupted.
She just smiled even wider than before.
"I have never seen you like that before..." she said thoughtfully. Then she perked up, "Maybe he is like your soul mate!"
I rolled my eyes. "Oh please, I just met the guy! Now you think he is my soul mate?"
Christina pouted. "He swooned over you too..." she tried to argue.
He did? Well maybe he did... not that I would have seen it, because I totally got lost in his eyes... Ugh I am an idiot!
"Maybe..." I answered thoughtfully.

I suddenly heard running footsteps behind us. I had whirled to see that hunk of a dude coming over. I couldn't help watching his muscles ripple as he tried to reach us. He then reached us in a matter of seconds.
"Hey, sorry about earlier." He apologized, "I'm Zach by the way. Can I take you out for coffee tomorrow or something?"
I was shocked. This hot guy was asking me out. I was at lost for words, but before I could panic Christina had answered for me.
"Hi! I'm Christina and this is Holly. I know she would love to!" Christina answered.
"Great!" Zach smiled. "What time would be best?"
"There is a Starbucks near the high school; she will meet you there around 3:30." Christina answered for me again.
"Great! See you there!" He winked at me and then walked away.
"Christina!" I scolded her.
She just gave me that sly look and flipped her hair over her shoulder before defending herself. "You weren't going to say anything anytime soon, so I answered for you!"
I glared at her for a moment, but it evaporated quickly. You can never be mad at Christina for too long. Defeated, I gave out an exasperated sigh and then led us over to the parking lot.
Once we were safely inside Christina's Porsche, she started driving to her house. Christina was babbling on and on about how my date was going to turn out and I couldn't help but smirk.
When we arrived at Christina's home, she ordered me out of the car and told her parents that Holly was staying the night. All she did was have to flash those puppy eyes and then she got what she wanted. They were dangerous weapons.
Even though Christina knew the real reason as to why I was staying over, she acted like it was a regular sleep over. She gave me some pajamas and we talked and painted our nails, just normal girl sleep over stuff. Christina was keeping me talking about random topics the whole time. I knew she was trying to prevent me from thinking about my father, and I appreciated it.
We were in bed by 10:00, considering that it was a school night. I had a little trouble going to sleep but when I did, I dreamed of Zach. He felt safe and warm, and I knew that he was the one for me...

Christina turned off her alarm when it sounded. When we woke up she made me play dress-up. When she was finally satisfied with my look, she then chose something for herself. She shared her toothbrush and toothpaste, which I was grateful for. She also let me use her hairbrush.
We were in her Porsche when I realized that I had my book bag at home, but shrugged it off. I didn't have any homework that was due today. Christina was helpful when she said she would help me with my essay homework, which was my only homework by the way. Christina also let me borrow one of her old backpacks for any homework given today. Once that was settled we were off. Christina was nearly freaking out; she was so excited for my date. It was true I never had a date before, but that doesn't mean she had to freak.
Merely a few minutes later, Christina pulled into the parking lot in front of the high school. I stepped out and Christina linked arms' with me giggling. She then strode confidently to the front doors, while I simply let her lead.
We met up with Julie inside, and I asked if Jennifer or Rachel was here. But my answer was that we seemed to get here in an order. Julie, then Christina, next was Jennifer, then me, and then Rachel.
We all started talking like usual, and later on Jennifer showed up. A little surprised to see me. We all were a little shocked when Rachel showed up before the bell rang. She was almost always late. We greeted her though and let her in on our conversations.
Christina let it slip that I had a date after school, and then I was bombarded with questions. It was a time like this when you had to have like 3 heads to answer them all. Luckily the bell rang and I didn't get to answer all the questions.
Now only a few hours and I will be with the guy of my dreams...
Zach's *P.O.V*
WOW! I have a date! I had never had this feeling before... happy but also a nervous feeling.
I had been pacing my room for over an hour, so I decided to just drive around town. At that thought, I was in the car and driving within the minute.
My head was a huge bundle of nerves as I imagined how the date would go. What if she doesn't show up? What if she doesn't accept me? What if she will hate me? What if—
STOP! I mentally slapped myself. Things will be fine. She doesn't have to learn now. But the sooner she knows the better. She will accept me; Luna, the goddess of the moon, would never let someone's mate refuse.
I glanced at the clock in my car, 3:00. I made a u-turn and started towards the high school.

I was already at Starbucks when she walked in. Again I was stunned by her beauty but quickly masked it when she spotted me.
I couldn't help watching how her body swayed as she walked over. I couldn't help but also think... Mine!
I watched as she assessed me, her gaze traveling up my body. The glint in her eyes tells me she liked what she saw.
"Hey!" She greeted when she reached the table.
"Hey."
