The Holidays Can Get a Little Batty, Ch. 09
Labor Day
*
This Story involves human females and Furry males engaging in sexual acts, so be aware if that isn't what you're looking for. I've taken a lot of inspiration from Jay Naylor's works, especially his "The Fall of Little Red Riding Hood" series, as well as E.Z. McCain's "Beastiverse" stories, so you may envision the world of these stories in a similar light. In this world, humans live in conjunction with various Beastman races, among other animals and mythical creatures. However, a curse borne by the ancient Goddess Hera has lived in the hearts of women for millennia, making them crave for Beast Cock and sex with Beastmen, Animals, and Monsters.
This story also involves incestuous relationships between a mother and daughter.
In this chapter, a misbehaved girl convinces her mother that the best way to celebrate the long weekend is to misbehave along with her daughter and her boyfriend...

"You're sure you have everything you'll need on that list? You didn't forget to write anything down?" Nora asked in her typical worried and distrusting tone.
"Yes mom, we went over it like a dozen times with you and Aunt Veronica." Noelle replied with an equally stereotypical annoyance in her voice. "You know we
are
legally adults now. We know how to be responsible on our own."
That comment earned a particularly dry look from her mother.
"Really? So being the 'responsible adult' that you are, you definitely wouldn't forget something as simple as your wallet, would you?"
Noelle's defiant expression was wiped clean in a flush of pink, and didn't return after she took a lightning quick look inside her purse.
"...I'll just be back in a sec." The young 'legally' adult muttered before zipping out of the room.
The older Blonde just pinched the bridge of her nose as her daughter flew past her in no more mature a way than she did when she was a toddler. Thankfully for her, there was one other person in the room who didn't spike her blood pressure quite as much.
"Don't worry Miss Beaufort. I'll make sure to keep things on track." Miri offered with a small smile to the annoyed older woman.
"Thank you, Miri." She replied earnestly as she changed her cross look for a smile. "At the very least I can always rely on you to watch out for that girl."
"As best as I can, anyway."
It was finally the end of what had to be the craziest summer in Miri's life, and just next week he, Noelle, and most of their friends would all be starting college. In fact he and Noelle were just about to head out on their back-to-school shopping spree, something Nora and his own mother Veronica had been... meticulous in helping them plan and prepare for.
But in spite of how big a step this should be to any young adult, Miri really didn't feel like he was on the verge of some grand change to their lives. That was mostly due to the fact that he and Noelle would be attending a local branch of their state college. They wouldn't be moving out of their home town, and hell neither of them would even be moving into dorms for the year, as he and Noelle were still planning to live at their homes with their mothers. So really, things seemed hardly any different from how they'd been living since elementary school.
...Well, a few things were certainly different from when they were kids, and Miri was reminded of that as he realized he was alone with Nora for the moment, with not much else to do but stand there staring at her like an idiot. But he just couldn't help himself, not when she was so beautiful, and especially not since he had... seen her in a different light a month ago.
"H-Hey, Miss Beaufort?" Miri weakly tried to grab her attention, doing his best to summon what little courage he could scrape from the bottom of his stomach.
"Hmm? Something on your mind?" She perked up curiously.
The question he'd wanted to ask for weeks was right on the tip of his tongue, but as she looked back at him with that pretty face and mildly concerned expression she'd been giving him since he was ten, his courage melted away faster than an ice cube in a frying pan.
"Uhh, never mind. It's really nothing worth worrying about. Not with college a week away."
"If you say so." Nora seemed to say reluctantly, still giving him that look of concern. "But if you ever change your mind, you know you can always talk to me."
"I know, and thanks."
It'd been almost two months since that fateful Fourth of July, and Miri had not had sex with Nora since then. Beyond that, the woman hadn't so much as hinted at bringing the topic up with him. She pretty much acted as normally around him as she ever had. Maybe she had even been a little more cheerful and friendly around him, but otherwise Nora acted as if nothing between them had happened. The very few times Miri had tried to bring it up he'd either lost his nerve or Nora would effortlessly manage to duck the question or change the topic. Noelle had also never seemed too keen on talking about it, so here at the turning point of a new chapter in their lives, Miri was finally coming to accept that he should just let it quietly fade into memory. That said, he had absolutely no plan on ever forgetting that incredible memory.
And it wasn't like Miri had been constantly dwelling on that day. He'd had plenty of other trouble to keep him worried the rest of that summer. Between Noelle, Brandy, Olivia, Charlotte, and a handful of other unexpected escapades, that Bat had plenty enough on his plate without dredging up the single most awkward (if exciting) experience of his life.
And fortunately he wouldn't have to dwell on it any longer today either, as he soon heard Noelle racing back down the stairs to meet him.
"Okay, got it! We've got everything now, so let's go already!"
"Hold on, just hold on a minute." Nora stopped them both, even though Noelle was all but dragging Miri by his sleeve. But while the younger Blonde looked back at her with annoyance, the mother just stood there a moment with her arms crossed, like she was scrutinizing the two particularly closely. But in the end she just gave a sigh and her questionable, distrusting look fell to a small, slightly sad smile.
Stepping forward she suddenly wrapped up Noelle in a big hug and placed a kiss on her cheek, and despite the girl's annoyance just a minute ago she didn't resist or show any reluctance for her mother's affection. And after hugging her daughter, she turned to Miri and gave the Bat just as big a hug and a kiss on his fluffy cheek as well (something he probably enjoyed a little too much and just made burying his feelings that much more difficult.)
"Okay, okay, I got that out of my system. Go on, go be 'responsible adults.'" And with just the faintest threat of a tear in her eye, Nora sent off her two 'legally' adult but still very much technically teenagers.

That Evening
***
It was getting close to bedtime, and Nora was huddled down on her couch letting the day end and unwinding with a little tv. She could hear the shower upstairs turn off, meaning Noelle would likely be turning in for the night soon herself. All in all it was as quiet and normal an evening as ever. A few minutes later Nora did hear her daughter's footsteps come softly pattering down the stairs, and when she entered the living room Nora could see her hair was still fairly wet and it looked like the only thing she was wearing was a bath robe.
"Hey mom. Mind if I sit with you?" Noelle asked perfectly innocent.
"You really should put some clothes on." The mother simply replied back with a small frown.
"It's fine, I'll be going to bed soon anyway." And Noelle simply brushed off her mother's concern and strode over to seat herself and cuddle up beside the woman.
"You're incorrigible." Nora sighed wearily as she felt her daughter's arm go around her shoulder.
"Yeah, but that's one of my best qualities." Noelle shot back without a hint of shame.
"You know you're lucky you have Miri, because I really doubt anyone else would put up with you for very long." Again, the mother tried to gently chastise her daughter, but again Noelle didn't even try to argue. She just hummed happily and accepted the fact.
"Yeah. I'm definitely lucky to have him, alright."
Her voice grew quieter as she said that, and Noelle started leaning more heavily into Nora. She held her mother tight around the shoulder and brought her free hand over to delicately stroke along her arm.
"But then again, I'm lucky to have a lot of other people in my life, too."
The sudden change in her daughter's demeanor put a bit of color into Nora's face.
"Noelle... it's late. And there's a lot you need to do to get ready for next week. I don't really think now's an appropriate time for... distractions." Nora tried to say in an unconvincingly flat tone, but Noelle could feel the goosebumps she was raising on her skin.
So the younger girl pressed herself even closer, moving her arm down to wrap it around her mother's waist and resting her face right on the woman's shoulder.
