The Descent
"Come now, I won't bite. We'll perhaps only a little, but I'll show you heaven, perhaps, even hell."
My ass scooted backwards across the hard rock, I searched out with my hand for anything. Just something to fight off my best friend, no, that wasn't right. This thing in front of me was no longer my best friend, the tentacle that flicked out of her ear was just a part of the creature that had infected her. Controlled her!
Another tentacle jutted out of her crotch that appears to be phallic in shape. Her eyes were glazed over as she moved towards me, her body twitching as she took slow steps forward. She was breathing hard, as she reached a hand out to stroke the appendage. The one that she wanted to fuck me with!
"C'mon Petra, I feel so good," she moaned. "You can feel just as good too," she groaned as her cock seemed to pulse.
How had everything gone so wrong?
Earlier That Day...
"Listen, are you sure that this is safe?" I asked, leaning against the window of the Jeep. My head bent as I inspected the map that was splayed across my lap. It was marked with all sorts of different markers. I knew that Evie had been running around these mountains since she was little. But I was a city girl, I did adventurous stuff but with a tour guide leading the way.
Evie snorted, before turning the volume on the radio down, she was blasting ACDC. Wrinkling her nose, she gives me her most winning smile as she glances down at the map before pointing a finger down on a spot on the map.
"Golly you're a worry wart, I swear. Listen, I grew up out here, trust me. I know the best little cave system, you'll have the best time and then you'll have inspiration that you need for the little book that you're writing. Your publisher will love this new idea!" She beamed, reaching down and grabbing a twirler from the cupholder, she was tapping her fingers along the steering wheel without a care in the world.
All the while bobbing her head in time with the music. I smirked as I looked at her, for a country girl. She sure had gotten some style, since moving into the city. Her typical blonde hair was dyed blue at the ends. They were braided into two French braids down her head, reaching to the mid of her back.
Her cornflower eyes were bright as she maneuvered the Jeep with easy precision. Ducking my head, I tuck a strand of my red hair behind my ear. Looking at the scenery that was so wooded that I didn't think I'd be able to get a cell signal.
"She'll love anything that'll sell," I grumbled in annoyance as I remember the last conversation I had with the woman. It had ended with her giving me a deadline saying that if I didn't get something out that I would become last week's news. Even though I had written a bestseller that wasn't enough, they wanted another one!
"Hey," she reached out and put a hand on my knee. "You've got this in no problem. Don't let them get into your head like that. Rather let the creative juice flow," she chuckled, removing her hand. The spot on my knee is still warm with her touch.
She reached into her shirt pocket and pulled out a small bag. "Okay, so, I was saving this for when you started the hike. However, it seems that you need something to take the edge off now!" She waved the bag with a smile.
Raising a hand, I grabbed it from her wiggling hands. Laughing, she keeps her eyes forward on the road. We had been driving for a while and it seemed that we were nearing the start of our destination. Looking at the small little blue pills, I see that she has exactly two in the small bag that has a hand drawn smiley face on it.
"Is this what I think it is?" I ask.
She gives a jerky nod of her head. "Remember, how I was telling you that I had met this guy. Well turns out he knows a guy that has some amazing stuff. He got me these two to try, it was like ecstasy but turned up to eleven."
Looking down at the bag with a mixed emotion, I look at her. She still has a wide smile that partially screams you only live once. Sighing, I pull the bag open, the crinkling sound of the bag opening seems deafening.
Pulling out one of the pills, I hold it between my fingers and roll it between my point and thumb. "Are you sure about this guy?"
"As sure as one can get about someone that is friends with a drug dealer," she says giggling. Reaching down she hit the left turn signal. I can barely make out a dirt road off the side of the single lane highway we were on. Twisting the steering wheel, she barely slows down as she takes the turn.
We swiftly hit the gravel and dirt road, the Jeep easily handling the rough terrain. The path is worn, but still overgrown, to show that probably only locals know about it.
"Stop being a baby, Petra. You've done drugs worse than this at festivals," she says as we rumble along the path. The trees acting like a natural canopy, it felt like it was mid afternoon rather than morning now.
Sticking my tongue out after her, which earns another round of laughter. I tilt my head back and let the pill fall down into my open mouth. Without hesitation, I swallow it down, before extending the bag back towards Evie.
"No, I can't. Can you get it for me?"
Smiling, I fish out the other blue pill and she turns her head slightly, eyes still focused on the road. Her own tongue extended towards me. I place the pill onto her tongue, the warm heat of her mouth tickles my hand. Giving me a wink she pulls her head back and swallows the pill down.
"Thank you," she hummed as we sped along the path. Soon enough we came to a small clearing that had enough room for about seven cars or so. There were trucks that were already parked there. One was empty, the other had two men that were sitting in the back of the truck bed, with a cooler next to them. Brown bottles in hand as they chatted with one another.
Evie parked to the left avoiding the two trucks. She grins, pulling the emergency brake, before pulling the keys out of the ignition. "Okay, this is where the fun starts. I'm going to take you to my favorite cave," she laughed, pulling at her braids.
Smiling, I unbuckle my seat belt. Evie was at her best when she was excited, and she had been talking about this trip for the past two months. Saying that she was so happy to be able to show me her hometown! For me, any excuse to escape from my responsibilities was a welcomed one.
"Get your butt moving," she threw over her shoulder and she threw the door to the Jeep open. Hoping out, I opened my own and followed suit. She was pulling her backpack out, when the two guys that had been drinking called out.
"Get a load of this! Do my eyes deceive me, or is that Lil Evie Jenks?" A loud voice shouted. I turned to see a man with a worn baseball cap, and a flannel that was half open exposing his toned stomach. He reminded me of the boy that we all had a crush on growing up. Strong jawed, warm brown eyes and a smile that could stop your heart.
He was hopping off the back of the truck, just as Evie came around from the other side, with a backpack slung across her back and another in her hand. The other being the backpack that she had packed for me. A sly grin spread across her mouth.
"If it isn't Colton, the little asshole that always pulled my hair," she threw back. Coming to hand me my backpack. "That wouldn't happen to be Big Glen with you?"
"Hi Evie," the other man said. He was as huge as a bear, lifting his beer bottle he waved at her with it. She cocked her hip and looked at the two men appraisingly. Colton was already making his way across the small space.
"Come here," he growled as he lunged at her. She shrieked, and I felt my heart lurch, but then she broke out into laughter as he pulled her into a full body bear hug. He was laughing as well. Big Glen was making his way over, as well.
He gave me a small nod, one that I returned.
"Come back here all grown up? I thought you went and became a city girl, too good to deal with your old country friend!" Colton said, squeezing her tight before putting her back down onto her feet. Big Glen was wide as a lineman, his eyes were a bright baby blue and he had warm blond hair.
"Had to see what it was like to leave home. Good to see that you two have kept everything in order for my return," she said, saluting the both. Colton rolled his eyes, while Big Glen just gave a wry smile. She turned to the big man and threw a light punch into his arm. His eyes were twinkling with amusement.
"Still the same old, Evie," Colton said with a shake of his head.
"Don't you know it! Oh, let me introduce my best friend," she turned and grabbed my arm. Pulling me closer to the three of them. Evie was the extrovert and I was the introvert that had somehow managed to befriend this wild creature.
I don't know if the drugs were kicking in or if it was my nerves to be around people that knew Evie from her childhood. But I couldn't help the nervous sweat that was beading at the back of my neck. "Boy's this is Petra. Now keep your hands off her. She's too good for the both of you," she snapped, but then let out an airy chuckle.
"Asshole," Colton muttered, before giving me a winning smile. "This helion hasn't dragged you into too much trouble has she?" He said, leaning closer to me conspiratorially.
She reached out and shoved him playfully. "What? Don't be mad because I know that Evie the wildchild, didn't change in all her years away!"
"I'll let you know I'm a reformed helion!" She snapped, turning her nose up at them. I just wrung the backpack strap between my hands. Feeling my nerves melting away, as I looked at them joking easily.
"What about the one time that you shaved Mrs.Millers cat and then painted it to look like a small tiger?" Big Glen threw in looking at the two of them.
A mortified blush crept across Evie's face. "Didn't we agree to never talk about that?!" She shouted.
