Felix sat at the booth that he had been occupying at the Café for the last week, excluding the last two days. He had been buried knee deep is piles of paperwork, trying to find out Destiny's origin and who her parents are. He had also been trying to figure out what and who had been following her, other than himself and his wolf. He had his best trackers on the job of finding the foul creature, with no luck. They had tracked nearly every single lead they could, and every time, the scent trail would disappear.

A woman walked up and roused Felix out of his thoughts, "Hello good looking, my name is Rebecca, can I get you something to drink?" the lady's words were kind and smooth, however something smelled odd about her. She looked to be in her mid-twenties, her fire-like hair rested in a ponytail while the ends flowed down her shoulders and chest. Her lips matched her blazing mane, Rebecca's waist was slim, while her bust resembled boulders. Truly a living version of Jessica Rabbit.

"No, thanks. Can you tell me when Destiny is supposed to be in to work?" As Felix spoke Rebecca made herself comfortable by setting her hands on the table, turning her already exposed breasts, into a display case.

"Destiny won't be in for another.. Hmmm I'd say 30 minutes maybe, but I can serve you at least something to drink until she gets here?" Her words seemed to manifest into a metaphorical snake, slithering from the corner of her mouth and stalking its prey. Felix's wolf growled, angry that this, the thing was trying to replace their mate. They could smell her hormones and arousal, and it only spurred his wolf's rage. Revolted, Felix felt he could throw up at a moment notice.

Sighing, re-gaining control of his gag reflex, Felix pinched the bridge of his nose. As he spoke, his words squeezed through gritted teeth, "Nope, Miss Rebecca, I'm perfectly fine with waiting for Destiny, thanks." Felix felt thankful that she looked defeated, and turned away. He had been growing tired of this woman quickly.

As Rebecca walked off, Felix's mind was filled with barking, yipping, and howling, affecting his ability to think straight. His wolf was in pure ecstasy, his tail swishing back and forth. "What is it now?' Felix growled internally. His wolf was like his annoying brother, sometimes he helped a lot and sometimes, he just acted instead of thought. His question was answered through an out-of-control river of emotions: lust, pleasure, and desire. The emotions suffocated Felix. Fragmented images popped through his head, all of Destiny.

Curious, Felix decided to attempt to reach through the bond. He knew it would likely fail, considering they didn't share a full bond connection. Destiny and Felix would have to go through with a Marking Ritual in order to achieve the full bond. He mentally reached out, focusing on her mind and the emotions flowing out through intentional holes in a theoretical dam. Immense pleasure flowed through threatening to crumble its wall into a pile of dust.

His mind was swimming in a sea of emotions. And then, all of the sudden the sea dried up into a bear desert. Felix took deep breaths in trying to gather and organize his thoughts. He reeled back, trying to understand what happened. His wolf whimpered sadly. When his senses finally returned, he could hear a robotic version of Destiny's voice. 'She must be on the phone,' Felix thought to himself. She sounded slightly out of breath, and annoyed. Felix chuckled to himself, she had to have been in the midst of some 'private time' considering the amount of pleasure that had been gushing through their bond. 'I would've been irritated too'.

Felix retracted, not wanting to intrude any further on a conversation he wasn't invited into. Instead, he thought about Destiny and her recent 'adventure', he thought about how he would enjoy pleasing his delicate mate. Felix imagined how she would come to accept his pack, how she would possibly accept her role and status, and whether or not she would choose to be changed into a wolf if she wasn't one already. Felix hoped so, for the sake of everything, if she was already a wolf, her instincts would come naturally through guidance by her own wolf, or advice from Felix and his.

Around fifteen minutes later, the door to the Café opened, the pattern of footsteps resembled Destiny's and immediately, Felix's wolf started going crazy. But Felix didn't physically act upon his awareness because Destiny's footsteps got lighter, indicating she was attempting, and failing to sneak up on him. He heard every footfall, the swoosh every hair made on her back, and more importantly, her heartbeat racing with anticipation.

There was a slight intake of breath and what followed was Destiny bursting at the seams "Hi there stranger!" she laughed after, holding a palm to her flat stomach. Felix hoped that one day, her stomach wouldn't be flat, he hoped that it would be round with their pups, and she would be accepting of his pack. Soon to be their pack.

Destiny smiled, "One cup of coffee coming right up! Let me clock in first!" she waved a hand and walked away, towards the back of the store, leaving his wolf to whimper sadly, and Felix to assure his wolf that their mate would be back.

¬"umm sure.." Destiny vaguely answered Felix's question about going with him to the bar. Her body went rigid, and seemed to be uncomfortable. Felix sole a glance at Destiny, after he finished the last sip of coffee in his cup. She had taken her hair down a few moments prior, it's gentle waves cascaded down her shoulders and chest, the tips teasing the table. She had her head down, visibly nervous.

Felix reached over and laid a calloused hand over her fragile fingers, "Destiny, you don't have to come with me if you're uncomfortable. I want to get to know you He faked surprise, jumping slightly to assure validity. He smiled brightly at his mate "Jesus! Destiny did you have to scare me like that? If I had coffee in my hand, it would be all over me!" Felix laughed along with his mate, he enjoyed her company. He also enjoyed her laugh, a melody, a song played just for him.

, I don't want to scare you off. If it makes you more comfortable, then we can go only as fast as you want to, and I will back off" He saw Destiny's shoulders relax, as she let a held breath escape.

"I would enjoy going with you to the bar tonight Felix, I was nervous because any guy who I've had a date with or went anywhere with, my entire life, has wanted to get down my pants" she chuckled, embarrassed, "but I guess that's what I get for assuming the worst in people." Felix smiled brightly at her, she was definitely something special.

"It's okay Precious, I know all too well how hideous the world can be, but if you'd let me I would love to show you how adventurous, rewarding and gentle it can be." He stood up and offered his hand to her, "Would you like to go now?"

"Let's go" she grinned, taking his hand into her tiny one, and stood up following him out.

Felix pulled up to the front of the bar, it's entrance like many others, above the double doors stood a huge light up sign that stated 'The Wolves Den', 'How ironic' Felix thought. All the windows intentionally had a frost to them, preventing minors from witnessing the activity in the bar. Through the glass, the only thing visible were lights flashing rhythmically, and shadows casted from customers inside. Felix reached over and unclasped his seatbelt, and turned the car off, "are you ready? Felix asked. Destiny had also been peering at the entrance, "as ready as I'll ever be" she joked.

The bar didn't seem too busy when they walked in, so they found a couple of barstools to sit at, and called the bartender over. The dance floor had some ladies, busily dancing, genuinely enjoying their time, a few of them dancing together. A few ladies, had men at a table not too far from the dance floor, swooning over them. Felix chuckled 'human men' he thought. He ordered Rum and coke while Destiny ordered something called 'sunset on the beach'. He wasn't sure what was in it but she claimed that it had some strength to it. When the bartender brought their drinks, and they were settled in enough, Felix decided to start the conversation, "so, Destiny where are you from?" He thought it was an easy conversation, but one look at Destiny said otherwise. She seemed to have decided to answer anyway, "I was raised in Santa Anna, California, in a foster home. I lived there until I was sixteen and moved away from there to here when I was twenty two, which was about 7 months ago."

Destiny sipped her drink surprisingly enough, already halfway through her beverage, Felix didn't mind much. He thought, again and again about whether or not she would blend in with the pack, accepting the traditions, and learning about pack life. There would be many obstacles to go through, however Felix felt that the reward is well worth the struggle.

"Felix?" He heard Destiny call.

"Sorry, I'm spacing out, I have a lot on my mind" Felix apologized, "what was your question?"

"I was about to tell you to take a picture it might last longer" She winked mischievously at him, "I said, 'Tell me about your work, you mentioned you were here for business before, what kind of business?'" Destiny finished. She must've finished her drink, and ordered shots while Felix was busy thinking, she tossed a shot back, and wiped its remnants off with a napkin.

Felix cleared his throat, and finished his drink off, "That, Miss Destiny, is an answer that would take an eternity. However I'm prepared to summarize it," Felix went into explaining the he was something sort of a major, in control of a community, festivals, security, threats, building construction, etc. and the reason for him being in Cameron was to visit the council whom helped guide him through running the community. Felix made sure to mention that there was way more to it, but said that the rest was for another day.

He finished his drink and ordered another. Felix and Destiny talked for a while longer, mostly about favorites, and such, until Felix asked if she knew who her parents were, the only thing they seemed to have in common. His parents had died when he was really young, he had been raised by his older half-brother, who hadn't been in line for Alpha, considering he only held fifty percent Alpha blood in him. He had always been shown pictures and told names, but he had never really known who they were. Destiny's body grew stiff, and she coughed.

"I'll be back, I need to use the bathroom," Destiny stood on sea legs, attempting to regain control of her balance.

"Destiny, I can hel-" before Felix could finish, she had already started to walk away, and waved an hand dismissively. He grunted knowing that she needed private time, but stood up deciding that, that was exactly what he planned on giving her. Felix strutted to the bathroom, following her until he finally got to the door, then turned around and crossed his arms. Shortly after arriving, three ladies had walked up to Felix, trying to slide past. He blocked their way, "Umm. Excuse me sir. I'm trying to get to the public bathroom" one of the ladies spoke, she wore a big blue dress covered in glitter. She extenuated the word 'public' attempting to give more meaning to it.

"Well, let's consider it private for now, shouldn't be too much longer now" Felix stated firmly, and eventually after some consideration, the ladies backed off about 8 feet away and formed a line. Approximately five minutes later Destiny swung the bathroom door open, whilst walking out, but had not been paying attention and bumped into Felix.

Destiny walked around him, "Felix, I told you I don't nee-", her face hit the floor, a piece of carpet had bunched up causing her to fall as she scooted her feet across the floor. Felix grumbled bending down to help her up, "I didn't follow you because I didn't think that you couldn't make it back to our seat, I followed to make sure you had the private time you needed. I know when I'm feeling upset, I would rather be alone instead of having everyone barging in on me. So I gave you the same respect." He gestured to the now six women standing in line, a couple of them squirming crazily. Destiny visibly blushed, and mumbled a sorry, that Felix quickly accepted.

Once they made it back to their seats, they sat and talked for a little while longer, Destiny had asked Felix his age, to which he replied, "27", and returned the question. They went back and forth, asking questions and responding, until Destiny started to pass out on the bar. Felix paid for their drinks, and picked Destiny up, his right arm holding her legs and his left arm cradling her back. She tried protesting, saying she could walk still, however it didn't take a police sobriety test to determine that she is way too drunk to walk or speak clear and coherently. Felix exited the bar, Destiny in tow. He smiled, feeling his mate borrow further into his chest, clearly relishing the warmth he emitted. Felix kissed her forehead and continued trudging to the car. As he got closer to the car, the smell of death and rotting flesh assaulted his nose. The scent was stale, maybe an hour old, but he could tell whoever it was, stayed close by. He managed getting her into the car, however Destiny's subconscious had not been happy. She kept trying to claw her way back into his arms, and whimpered dejectedly after a couple failed attempts. He latched the seatbelt swiftly. Once he had her in the car securely, he shut the door, walked to his side of the car, and climbed in.

He couldn't take Destiny home, her apartment building required a code to get in, a code he didn't have, and not to mention, Destiny did not know he had been watching over her and protecting her since a couple days prior. Felix refused to take her to a motel, especially not when that thing was following her. He decided to take her to his home, where she would be safer, he had the best type of security anyone could wish for. He started the car and made his way to pack grounds. 'Everyone, I need you to be on your best behavior, I'm bringing Desti-" Before he could finish, he had several pack members shouting questions at him. Felix gripped the steering wheel as the questions poured in.

'Isn't she human?!'

'The Luna is coming? Can we meet her?'

'What if she freaks out?'

'Alpha are you sure this is a good idea?'

'ENOUGH! Ladies and gentleman, I understand your concern, however, she is passed out. She drank with me at the bar, and I cannot take her home, nor to the motel in her town. It's not safe. I trust everyone will keep her safe and secure among the pack. So, rule for tonight are as follows: No shifting until I take her home tomorrow, she has no knowledge so far of what we are, or our customs. Do not refer to her or I as Alpha or Luna, as I said before, she has no knowledge as to our customs, she will ask questions. Questions are dangerous at this point. You may talk to her or offer kindness, but until I have explained things to her, do not go in depth of the things we do." Felix finished addressing his pack. The answers were much softer, and short. They all had agreed to abide by the rules until further notice.

Moments later, Felix arrived at Pack Grounds. Every family had their own home, including Felix, he felt it was better this way. His home is structurally bigger than the others homes, but he hadn't wanted to share an entire house with every member of his pack, however that didn't change his need to be surrounded by his pack. He pulled up to his home, the exterior an eggshell color, while the shingles on the roof, black. The contrast paired well with the scenery around, the pack lived in the middle of the woods, where they felt more at home. Vines creeped up the sides of the building adding more of a woodsy feel, the windows were quite large, adding beauty to every morning. Felix's front doors are also massive, made from cedar trees, and designed especially for him. Carved into each door stood a wolf, bowing their heads, they faced each other.

Felix turned the car off and climbed out, shutting his door behind him. His Beta addressed him as he walked over to Destiny's side of the door, "Sir, I checked the house, its safe. Would you like me to send an Omega or two to patrol the house during the night?" Sergil, his Beta asked. Sergil was built like a brick wall, he stood 6'7", and weighed 250lbs. His skinned was tanned, just like many other pack members who frequently spent time under the sun.

"No, let the normal patrols do their work, just add a couple trackers to each group, and be careful of traps, or being led away. If one teams finds something and needs help, call in more pack members, and don't deviate from the normal schedule." Felix opened Destiny's door, he unbuckled her and hauled her out. If something goes wrong, you can always wake me up."

Felix walked to his front door, his Beta opening it for him, he walked through, going straight up stairs, not really paying attention to anything around. He felt the need to be alone with her, even if she was sleeping. Once he got to his room he sat Destiny down in his bed, and tried to cover her up. Destiny grunted, opened her eyes, and angrily yanked her clothing off, the only thing she didn't tear off was her bra and underwear. Felix stood there uncomfortably as she laid down, covering her body up. When her body was out of view, he walked to his closet, grasping a few blankets in his hand. He laid them down next to the bed, making a pallet to sleep on. He longed to sleep with his mate, but she was in no position to grant him permission.

He took his shirt and pants off so he could sleep comfortably, then he laid down on the floor, and closed his eyes, when sleep nearly overtook him, whimpering and crying interrupted it. His eyelids pried open, and Felix looked around, he didn't see or smell anyone around that would cause such a cry. He sat up and peered at Destiny, her body shaking, she continued to whimper. "Destiny? Shh it's okay, Precious" He tried to calm her, but she didn't answer or calm down. Felix got up and sat next to her on the bed, Destiny quieted down as he pushed back the hairs on her face. "Shh, it's okay," Felix continued running his hand soothingly over her head, however, it didn't seem to calm her for long. He had tried to lay back down on the floor and Destiny cried out once more, so he decide to lay with her in the bed instead, and once he climbed in beside her, she fell silent.

Felix started to drift to peaceful sleep again, until Destiny's hand started to drift also, traveling down his hard, flat stomach, down to the hem of his underwear. She moaned quietly, "Destiny." The only answer he received, her hand moved again, but this time, it found its destination. His groin. Felix groaned as her hand began to grope and rub in tight circles. Felix groaned, his member entirely erect.

She moaned louder this time, "Mmm, Felix. Fuck me."

He growled deep within his chest, his erection pulsing rhythmically. His wolf might've taken the opportunity, however, Felix could not. He moved her hand from his groin to on top of his chest. He feared, sleep couldn't come now that he had been excited, and Destiny continued to moan quietly. Somehow he managed to find sleep, and it over took him, but this time it had not been like a normal night's sleep, he ended up in a field, one that he was quite familiar with. It sat in a spot within the trees, a huge oak tree sat in the middle. This clearing was used by the pack for several reasons, including training sessions, shift ceremonies, new litter celebrations, and Marking Rituals.

Felix looked around, he spotted his pack circled around, holding torches. This would normally happen during a shift or a new litter celebration, this felt different. He walked forward, straining to see who they had been looking at. Shock overtook Felix when he seen Destiny in the middle of the circle, she was on her hands and knees, blonde and tan fur was sprouting in all directions. Her face elongated, forming into a muzzle, a massive tail grew with every change her body made. Yet Destiny didn't seem like she was in much pain at all, her legs, feet, arms and hands, popped and crackled, forming paws and hocks. When everything had changed, she looked directly at Felix. He smiled into her blue eyes, and then everything went black. The rest was much needed, the peace lasted for what seemed like five minutes, before...
