Ava woke up in a dark room with only a faint green glow seeping through a crack in the door. She was wearing a hospital gown and was lying on a stiff cot. A low, humming sound came from the corner of the room.
"Well, Ava, this might take the record for the weirdest shit that's happened to you," she mumbled to herself.
"You're awake," someone said. She yelped as something slimy touched her leg. She tried to scramble away but the slimy thing wrapped tightly around her ankle. "Don't struggle, my love."
"My love?" Ava paused, confused. "I'm sorry, what? Who do you think you are, calling me 'my love?'"
"I am the Prince Vilaill, the crown prince of the Djaka'ar people."
"Prince, huh? And what does Prince something of the something-something people want with me?"
"You were the most perfect human specimen we could find. You have been chosen to become my companion, my love."
Your... companion? What the hell is that supposed to mean?
"It means you will be my queen. You will carry my eggs."
"Eggs," Ava echoed, laughing. "You're serious about this?"
"I am not a jokester, my love." Ava laughed again. This weird prince was actually going to fulfill her fantasy of being impregnated?
"Okay. Let me see you, then." The lights brightened and Ava let out a scream. A strange, octopus-like creature was standing in front of her.
"Does this satisfy you, my love?" Vilaill asked.
"How- How are you... Do you have a mouth?"
"My people communicate telepathically."
"Cool. Cool. So, then- uh- Iβ"
"You have dreamt about this, have you not?" Their tentacles started sliding over her legs.
"Uh-huh," she breathed, staring. Her legs had started to tingle.
"The ambrosia will make you more sensitive," Vilaill explained. One of their tentacles trailed up to her face and waved across her nose. The smell of chocolate suddenly hit her and she moaned. She loved chocolate.
"Is that- uh, is that what all your people smell like?"
"No," Vilaill laughed. "Everyone's ambrosia is unique."
"Cool. Well, I'm a fan." Ava gasped as their tentacles caressed her breasts under the hospital gown, making them even more sensitive with their ambrosia. She'd always had large breasts, and they'd always been incredibly sensitive but this was another level.
"It is not often anymore that we find a human with such a perfect body as yours." Ava scoffed. Her body was hardly perfect. She was fat, short, and she had the worst complexion of anyone she'd ever met. "It would be an honor to breed with you."
