It was late, probably too late for Evie to be out on her own. But she was stressed- work had been a lot today, and her favorite way to relax was to go to this little park a few miles from her apartment. She liked to sit on the swings & think.
Standing at 5'0 (an achievement she had only recently hit at 22), she didn't exactly cut a menacing figure. Evie was overly confident & bold, believing nothing could happen to her. Evie had bundled up for the cold. Her light brown fur wasn't thick enough for this weather, and she had on a large sweatshirt & sweatpants. The grey sweatpants hugged the curve of her ass and her slim, muscular legs. Her fluffy tail popped out of them, which swayed lightly as she walked up the sidewalk.
Unbeknownst to Evie, a dangerous man was out for a walk as well, unlike Evie though he wasn't out to relax at all. This man had always had a bit of distaste towards anthros but now with new drugs emerging he felt like there really was a way to put them in their place. These drugs, which were illegal, had the power to make anthros go into a severe heat. He had managed to get his hands on a bottle of the stuff and now was just looking for his victim.
He stood at 6'3 and was quite muscular. He had broad shoulders and a good build, making his figure a little intimidating. He wore a long sleeved shirt covered up by a jacket, as well as some jeans on. In his jacket pocket he had a rag and the bottle of the drug. He caught sight of Evie walking down the sidewalk and began following after her at a distance, not wanting to scare her off.
Her big brown eyes, which worked well at night, registered the man as he passed her- but not him turning around to follow her. He was big, one of those people she would avoid just so she didn't have to crane her neck so far to talk to him. Like most anthros, she kept to her own anthro circle. Humans tended to be violent in little ways. Passive aggression was common, along with little verbal digs. Never had she experienced physical violence, but she had of course heard stories.
She made it to the park. It was dark here, two of the lights had fizzled out. The playground stood forlornly, half illuminated by the dim pole lights. She took off her sneakers and left them at the edge of the playground before walking over the coarse sand that the swings sat on. She stretched out and sat down, her small toes drawing patterns in the sand.
He followed after the little sugar glider all the way to the park, keeping a close eye on her and their surroundings to make sure that they really were alone. He squinted his eyes a bit to make out the shape of her in the dim light of the moon.
Once she took her seat at the swing he decided now was his time to enact his plan. He pulled out the rag and bottle, pouring a few drops of the drug onto the fabric. He didn't know how it worked but he was told it was strong, just one whiff of this and most anthros would be forced into heat with urges worse than normal. He took a deep breath as he watched her. Though she was an anthro he'd still be in major trouble for possession of this illegal drug and attempting to assault her. He slowly began to make his way up behind, taking it nice and slow to make sure she wouldn't notice.
The large, triangular ears perched on top of her head picked up the sound of footsteps as soon as she sat down and heard him on the sand. She stood up and turned around, her heart beating quickly in her chest. The large man from earlier was there.
Terror surged through her veins. "What do you want?" She saw the cloth in his hand. Somehow, her massive eyes got even bigger. She didn't know what it was, but she knew it couldn't be good. She backed up. "I have a gun!" She bluffed. As if a gun could be hidden in her tight sweatpants without showing.
Sugar gliders also have very strong senses of smell. As he got closer, she picked up a miniscule bit of it. Suddenly, she knew what it was and what he was about to do: turn her into an animal. Many anthros considered 'true' animals to be beneath them, and there was much debate on what was considered a true animal and what wasn't. The small bit she picked up led part of her into a rebellion- thoughts entered her mind of taking off her clothes & allowing any man to stuff himself into her tiny body- but the rational part of her persisted.
The man looked upset that she noticed his approach so quickly. "Don't worry about what I want sweetie, soon enough you won't be needing to worry about anything at all." He eyed her over after she made her bluff, seeing nowhere for her to even store a gun.
He stepped closer with a bit of a laugh, a grin on her face. "You think that would fool me?" He clearly saw the look on her face change as she caught a slight whiff of the drug. "I guess you know what's going to happen then, you should be pretty happy. I've heard that anthros go crazy for this stuff after their first time, makes them feel euphoric."
He gave her a smirk and waved the rag in her direction, trying to waft the scent of the drug in her direction to weaken her a bit more before actually assaulting her. "You like the smell don't you?"
Evie's back hit the iron-wrought fence. End of the line. The park was on a cliff that overlooked the heart of the city: apartments, nasty alleyways, cars pushing the speed limit on the 4 lane highway. If she jumped she would glide right into a building or the highway, both which would kill her.
She had heard of this exact thing happening, but hadn't taken it seriously. The idea of people following her and kidnapping her was more of a joke. She found herself digging through what rumors she had heard. Sex trafficking, slave work, or, and this was the worse one, being killed and sold for her soft fur. She heard stories of anthro heads being displayed on walls, like deer heads. She had no idea if this was true or not, but she could believe anything at this moment.
As he got closer, the smell became more noticeable. It was fragrant, certainly. Something she felt like she needed to have. She lifted up her hoodie over her nose, exposing her slim stomach. Grey fur was on her stomach, but turned into light brown fur at the side of her stomach & her back. Muffled, she replied. "No, I don't! Get away from me! I'll fight back!"
Damien kept his eyes on Evie, she could easily jump if she felt scared enough but that would mean certain death for her. "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you at all."
There were definitely messed up things that happened to anthros, they were given the rights of humans but no one seemed to consider them as one. The black market profited from the suffering of anthros. Many have gone through hell just for some humans to make a profit, being skinned, beheaded, or taken as a slave. Damien however wasn't interested in making money off of her, all he really wanted was to put her in her place.
