"You have attacked my mate.
You have attacked my mate! How COULD you?!"
Xavier felt his wolf come to life at the most wonderful scent known to man But yet he felt disgusted with himself and his wolf because they both knew who his mate was.
"I am sorry, I did not know she was your ma...
te"
He and his wolf raged together, and his wolf demanded control. He's already out. It's his wolf that wants out.
"Where ...
is she?!
"
"I ... I ... I --" "She's... she's ... Alpha please ... you are hurting ..."
"THIS IS NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT I WILL DO TO IF YOU DON'T ANSWER ME. TELL. ME.
NOOOW."
His wolf slipped harder and harder from his control like a wild dog tearing away on a leash – they both hungered for their mate – but the blood's scent carried the unexpected.
It occurred to Helen that Xavier did not know what little tricks the witch pulled in order to go undetected for her short time here, not that it would matter though, because witches were no threat to werewolves, so her trying to harm them were laughable.
He shifted weight, took a deep breath and widened his eyes with a new calm that still hinted deep tension "Helen I will ask you more time where the hell is my mate? My wolf is getting restless at your hesitance." Locked in the moment, she stared into his eyes. The Digging fingertips grew sharper, piercing her skin with a deep sting, and slice through her skin. At the signs of blood trickling down her neck she knew she had to tell him something quick.
"Alright, alright. I tell you please let me go, I promise you whatever punishment you have for me I will take it,but please release my neck. But I must warn you will not like what I am about to tell you,"
she said mentally to him.
"Ow oh ugggggghhh." Helen fell to the ground gasping for breath. She put her hand to neck and felt the painful bruises and gouges that he left behind.
"Speak to me now."
With tears dripping down her face she spoke in a sobbing, in a hurtful voice. "Last night, after we talked about the witch, I was so angry at what she had done, that I wanted revenge -- for you and this pack. How dare she do what she did? She is beneath us in every way -- she should have not gotten away with it. So I took it upon myself to teach her a lesson."
He clutched her hand the hand with which she had attacked Sallie and he inhaled once more.
"Did you kill her?" he asked with a mixture of pain small disdain in his voice. Realization dawned on Xavier and his wolf of what they had done to their mate.
"No. But as you can see, I did attack her. Look, Xavier, listen to me, I --
ahhhh ugh
."
She landed with a hard painful thud, leaving her immobile across the other side of the room. She wanted to cry out in pain, both emotional and physical, but the emotional was much worse.
How can this low- life, non-deserving, fifthly human be his mate? I don't understand this, this should not have happen to me,
she thought to herself.
Xavier and his wolf knew they did some more collateral damage upon his beta [when] she came in from being attack by some unknown entity. They both knew they were wrong, but yet they could not hold on to that anger any longer. When she came in from being attacked by an unknown, Xavier and his wolf knew they damaged his beta. They felt wrong, yet they released the anger.
He stepped to her and sensed her pain. He stepped to her, his angry face softened with tenderness/understanding. He looked upon the mess he made out of her he almost felt shameful, but when he inhaled the witch's blood again he and his wolf felt more disgusted then shameful.
She watched him survey her injuries in hurt glimpses, his face low in shame, but his shame changed like he tasted something foul when his nose twitched at the smell of her blood.
They were disgusted because of the way he treated her during her time at the compound, they were disgusted because of what she was, but most of all, and they were disgusted with themselves because they wanted her. This feeling would not go away; they felt sick to their stomach because they wanted her in every way possible
Remembering the woman in the office he turns to her with an angry glare.
"You have been accepted into this pack. But do note that if you even mention this moment, or the fact that a witch might be my potential mate, the consequences that will befall upon you will be dire. I strongly suggest that you keep your mouth shut about this. Got it?"
The she-wolf stared back at him as she witness everything unfolds before her very eyes. In a timid voice she spoke up: "Got it. Is there anything I can do you my alpha?"
"Yes. Take her down to the infirmary to get her healed. If anyone asks about what happened, tell them the alpha wishes to not disclose any information. Is that simple enough for you?"
"Yes, sir, it is." She rose from her sitting position to cross to Helen and slide her arms under Helen's knees and back to hoist her up. Before leaving she turned back to her new alpha and employer.
"Thank you so much for this opportunity, my alpha. I am very grateful."
"Yeah, yeah ... whatever. Just do what I ask."
She turned and left Xavier alone with his thoughts in his office.
"What the fuck are we going to do?" he asked his wolf. His wolf gave a confused whimper in response.

When Sallie came to, she felt the pain she experience earlier before drifting away She moaned as she felt her left side numbing from the dissolving pain. When she turned over on her side, she let out a startled yelp as a naked man stared back at her.
"How are you feeling darling?"
Everything flooded back to her then: Helen, this morning's attack, and the fact that there was a large tiger in her front yard that suddenly disappeared. But then she remembered what he said and put two and two together.
"Physically I am ok, I am doing better than this morning, but emotionally and mentally I am still reeling over the attack, and the fact that Helen attacked me out of nowhere." She said, struggling to sit up. Roger came to her side.
"Hey, hey, you need to take it easy. You still need to time heal, after that vicious scratch that wolf gave you, and if you keep moving around my salvia won't do any good."
She recoiled at that statement.
"Saliva? Why is your saliva on my arm, nasty?"
"It has healing abstracts in it. I did it so your arm would heal."
"I could have healed it on my own with a spell or something. I did not need you." She said with a slight frown on her face. Roger can sense her unease, and slight anger towards him. They both felt it and both knew what it was about.
With a slight smirk forming, he easily brushed off her emotions towards him.
"That could have been true, but with the way you were loosing blood and slipping into unconsciousness, I doubt it, so I helped you. Although I can tell that you are a witch, and your spells are useful, you could not [have] healed your arm the way I did. So you did need me, Miss Ungrateful," he said with some sarcasm in his voice.
She realized that "I did not need you" comment was a total bitch move, so she apologized. "I am sorry if I came off as ungrateful, which I am not. I am very grateful that you were there to save my life today. Which brings me to my next question? Why were you here this morning anyways? What were you doing here, anyways?"
Roger cursed to himself at the question. He knew he had to think of something quick, either that or just tell her the truth.
Taking a deep breath in, he tried to calm his nerves in order, to let them not get the best of him.
"Well, if you have not noticed yet, I am a shifter," to, "Well, if you haven't noticed yet, I'm a shifter." He paused at the expression on her face. Realization spread over her features
"Oh, my god, you were the rabbit, too. Ooh my – oh, my god," she repeated. Then something else dawned on her:
The crow,
she thought to herself, and as her lips parted to ask he volunteered:
"Yes, I was the rabbit. And since we are on the subject of honesty, I might as well tell you that I was also the crow you saw that day at the magic shop." Shock plastered across her face, and then anger took over.
"Oh, my god, you sick, crazy, psychopath assh -- oww." She wanted to lean up and finish her rant but a sharp stinging pain shot through her arm.
"Hey what did I tell you about that arm? You want it to heal quickly now do, ya? With the way you keep moving around, it will take more than thirty minutes to heal."
"Fuck. A Caring sympathetic stalker ... who would have guessed."
