Lucifer's jaw tensed at the bark of the command, he couldn't help but to hold onto Valerie more protectively. "Find your own girl, dog; this one is taken." He snapped, the back of his white shirt tearing to shreds as midnight black wings unfolded out from behind him. The ebony feathers ruffled in the breeze, full length spreading about twelve feet or so, his red eyes gleamed into the night as he stared down the mystery male. The stranger charged at him and he took to the sky with a swift beat of his wings, but he was too slow.
Suddenly, the man before shed all clothing to pieces as a wolf took his place, a deafening howl broke the silence of the night as the eight foot black pelted creature launched himself at Lucifer. He grasped at his dangling legs, sticking five inch claws into the flesh of him, tearing through the skin as black blood poured to the ground. The wolf brought him down in seconds, causing Lucifer to drop the girl and send her rolling down the cement, human blood now ripe in the air around them.
He hissed at the wolf, grasping two double edged daggers from behind his back, the metal black and eerily demonic as he took a defensive stance despite the beating he took on his legs. "That girl is mine, dog! I'll die before you dare take her from me." Lucifer charged forward thrusting the daggers towards the chest of the beast. The wolf dodged but not before taking a slice across his shoulder as he moved out of the way, coming in close to Lucifer's side he took a bite out of his right wing, crunching the bones in between his jaw.
Lucifer cried out at the pain of his wing being crushed in between teeth like knives, quickly he countered and shoved a dagger into the side of the wolf, being greeted with hot red blood as it splattered across his face, he only shoved deeper. The wolf released the wing with a pained growl, trying to side step away from the attack, but the blade was lodged in deep. Lucifer grinned manicaly and twisted the dagger in further, but the wolf reacted and bit down onto his arm.
Heavy pain appeared in the demon's face as the bones in his arm broke off with a snap that echoed through the dark city. Black blood pooled in the wolf's mouth as he quickly ripped the arm from the man's body, then in turn pulled out the arm from his own furry side. He tossed the limb to the parking lot ground with a dagger still gripped in the dead fingertips. Lucifer fell to his knees in disbelief, the demonic blood spilling to the cement like water as it spread across the concrete around him. He clutched his missing arm before glaring up at the injured wolf, the crimson of his own blood dripping from his side and matting his fur.
The black wolf and the demon stared at each other in a stalemate, glowing gold eyes glaring into the merciless red of Lucifer's. Before either of them made their next move the police sirens caused them to turn their heads in the same direction, the noise about a mile away.
"Fuck! Fuck fuck fuck, you stupid fucking dog! I'm going to slaughter you and your whole pack." Lucifer groaned out, his expression wild with frustration and rage. He tried scrambling to his feet, stumbling to his knees before he could make a step towards the girl who lay only a meter away, gasping out in pain as he tried reached for Valerie. The wolf had been smart enough to sever the tendons in his legs, making him imobile. He watched, seething, as the pelted beast sauntered over to the unconscious female, a limp in his gait from where the dagger was inserted. The blonde haired male growled when his attacker switched to a human wolf hybrid, furry hands reaching to touch HIS pet. "Don't you dare lay a hand on her! She's mine. She's poisoned, I poisoned her and only I have the cure!" He cackled maniacally before attempting to get closer to her, stopping mid crawl as he whipped his head over to the flashing blue and red lights fast approaching in the distance between the buildings.
As soon as Lucifer looked back over to where Valerie lay, he noticed she was gone and so was the beast. "NOOOO!" He shouted out, pounding his bloody fist into the cement, "I'll kill you dog! That Lureik belongs to me!" Screaming out into the nothing before bright white of police headlights began to start shining on him from between the other parked cars. Pressing his palm into the black top parking lot, a circle of red formed around him as he mumbled words under his breath, designs of crimson ran lines like spilled ink underneath him as he built his portal to the underworld. His eyes turned black for just a moment before he vanished into the earth beneath him.

The wolf man held the fragile girl to his chest as he ran on three legs through the alleyways, finding a ladder attached to the side of a brick building he ascended to the top of the structure. Jumping across the rooftops with urgency in his gait, he knew the demon wasn't lying because he could smell the toxin on her breathe. Within a few moments he brought them to a taller tower, climbing up another ladder, reaching an eighth story which appeared to be the last floor. Atop this roof was a large glass dome which seemed opaque on the outside because the tint was far too dark and private.
There was a metal door at one corner with a small patch of cement triangle to stand on while the man laid his hand on a scanner. His prints registering as the door clicked open, pushing inside quickly, he held the girl tight to him before laying her down in a courtyard full of soft grass. Lights flicked on sensing the motion within, brightening up their surroundings. Showing off the grassy top of the building, there was another door in the opposite corner that looked as if to head down into what one could guess as a home. Lounge chairs and outdoor furniture laid spread out, the expanse about the size of two tennis courts, even a small pond with a trickling noise of a waterfall was set up off to the side. A few random trees of deciduous nature spread out around the source of water, making for a comfortably realistic outdoor living space.
The stranger stumbled over to a wicker cabinet, pulling out a first aid kit, letting his fingers grow thinner as he took on the form of a human. His fur receded and what was left was a nude tan skinned male about 6'4" in height. Grasping the plastic box he limped back to the girl, blood oozing down his side from the large gash just below his ribcage, the muscles on his body rippled while he panted heavy trying to catch his breath. Falling to his knees next to the girl he spilled the contents of the emergency medical supplies and began shuffling through them for anything that could help a human combat demonic poisoning. Pausing he groaned audibly, realizing he would never have such a thing like that in his possession.
Running his hands through his messy black hair, his fingers slicked back the top half which was longer in length than the shaved sides. He knotted the hair back in a small nub of a ponytail with a new task set in his mind. Pressing his hands to the girl, he quickly flipped her onto her back. Kneeling beside her he stared down to Valerie, her red lingerie now dirtied and speckled in some grime from the parking lots' black tar. Leaning over her his green eyes gazed to her serene face and he couldn't help but reach out a hand to touch her smooth sand colored cheek, which was pale in comparison to his golden amber sheen. The large man couldn't help but take a hard swallow, she was so beautiful. Having sustained minor injuries when she was dropped by Lucifer her silver hair was a mess and patches of dried blood scattered across her blemish free body., but she still had the aura of an angel.
He reached out to move a piece of hair away from her face, gazing at her long eyelashes and full peach colored lips. Releasing a shaky breath he hadn't realized he was holding, he licked his own dry lips, thinking of the way hers might feel if he kissed them.
Damn, she really is a Lureik.
Jade eyes traveled down to look at the mark of the demon and he couldn't hold back a growl under his breath, not liking the way the black lines ruined her dermis. Moving to position his naked body on all fours over her, he leaned his head down towards her neck, sniffing the soft skin which smelled of hyacinth perfume. His ears picked up her faint breathing and he sighed internally,
at least she was never human to begin with...
