I suggest reading my previous chapters before this one

"Hey, sleepyhead! Get up!" Deliah says, pulling me out of my deep sleep. I look through a nearby window and see that the sun is just barely cresting over the horizon.
"Why did you wake me up so early?" I ask.
"Because I made breakfast," she replies. She gets up and drags me up with her. She's put on my shirt while I'm still naked. Not even my baggy shirt can hide her scrumptious curves.
"Breakfast? I'm the luckiest man in the world," I laugh and get up, putting my boxers on to walk into the kitchen.
She's smiling wide and bouncing up and down lightly. Wow, she must've really gone all out.
We round the corner and I'm stopped in my tracks. I was expecting anything other than a literal human sitting at the dinner table.
"Deliah..." I start.
"Aleck, I know you don't eat from humans anymore. I just wanted to remind you that you don't have to kill to get the good stuff. You were the one who taught me that after all," she replies. I mean... she has a point.
"So we're not killing her? Just feeding, healing, then releasing her?"
"Exactly, my love."
"I haven't had a drop of human blood in years," I smile and sit down next to the girl. She doesn't seem afraid, so Deliah must've already compelled her to not be scared.
"You take the first bite," she encourages. I do exactly as she says and sink my teeth into her wrist. If I knew I could control myself, I'd go for the carotid; but I'm not confident enough in my abilities given how long it's been.
I feel her go around to the other side of the girl and sink her teeth into her neck. Apparently she does have more recent practice. Soon, I can tell that she's about to lose too much blood, so I force myself to stop.
"Fuck, Deliah. You're right. I really missed the good stuff," I move closer to the girl and feed her some of my blood so her wounds heal quickly.
"Alright, sweetheart. Let's get you out of here," Deliah says, lifting the girl up and walking to the door.
"Where are you going?" I ask Deliah.
"Oh, I'll be right back. I'm just taking her to her car really quick," she replies. I nod and walk over to the couch to sit down in front of the fireplace.
I look at my phone and notice I have a text from Khalla.
"Hey baby! I was wondering when I could see you again... ;)" the text reads.
I reply, "I can see you four days from now, maybe we could go out for a drink?"
After only a few minutes she replies back "Why so looooong???"
I roll my eyes slightly, does she have to be so clingy? It's not like we're in a real relationship or anything, "I'm catching up with an old friend," I reply. I'm not lying...
I turn off my phone, not really caring too much about what she has to say. Yesterday I couldn't get her out of my head, but today I can't wait to get her out. I just want to spend some time with Deliah, I've missed her so much.
It doesn't take too long for Deliah to return. I hear her coming up to the house and open the door.
"Hey baby!" she yells into the house. She walks into the living room and sees me sitting down, waiting for her, with my arms stretched out. She takes the hint and embraces me.
"I love you so much, Deliah," I say, smiling at her.
"I love you too, Aleck," she replies.
"Let's say we watch a show? They're actually quite amusing," I say, gesturing to the huge flat screen tv.
She grabs the remote from a coffee table and turns it on.
"What do you wanna watch?" she asks.
I think for a second, "My Babysitter's a Vampire!" I say, laughing.
--
The next four days are filled with laughter, deep talks, and lots of fucking.
Deliah and I catch up on most of the stuff that's happened since we last saw each other.
She had had a few boyfriends, none of which were vampires. She knew she could turn them, but she didn't want to. She said she never loved anyone nearly as much as she loves me.
I admitted to having had a few girlfriends myself, though I kept quiet about the fact that I have one now. Why ruin a good time?
After the four days are up, Khalla sends me another text.
"So, when do you think you'll be down to have a drink today?" she asks.
"How about later, let's say 7 pm?" I reply. I check the clock to see that it's only nine in the morning.
"Sounds wonderful. Where should we meet?"
"Send me your location and I'll meet you."
"Will do."
With that, I turn my phone off again and put it in my bag.
"Deliah! I have to get back to my house. I'll come back in a few days, okay?" I yell from across the house.
"Let me walk you to the door!" she yells. Within a matter of seconds she's right next to me.
"I'll see you soon, my love," I say, kissing her sweetly on the lips. She kisses me back, then closes the door behind me. I jump into my car and drive back to my apartment.
