Chapter 2 -- A Dragon's Pride and Pleasure

Busy stressing in my office, I was ironing out details for the next job, one I was not looking forward to. "Gah... A dragon girl who doesn't like humans... I Already know her defect. Bad attitude..." I was reading over the information I was given by the Betterment of Cross Species agency, the place I work. Most of the notes talked about how bad her temper was. But the notes which caught my attention were about her skin condition and dragon strength.

Kana walked up behind me and stood on her toes to see what I was up to. She was back to her tiny self. "Hey hey. Are you finished yet, let's playyyy... Huh? What's that?" She pointed to the text I was reading about the next girl's conditions as one word caught her attention.

"Oh this? Vitiligo? It's a rare skin condition. In which your skin colour looks fragmented or patchy. Mostly means your body stopped producing melanin. The pigment producing cells."

"Ooooh... I don't get it... Let's play when you're done. Okay?" Kana placed a cup of tea and some biscuits on the table before running out.

I chucked crunching on a biscuit and continue to read. "Kana is still as playful as ever... I'm glad she's happy though. Especially after I fucked her..." Continuing to read I sighed flicking through the final pages. That's when I noticed the last important note. "Out of town? In the mountains!?! I don't get paid enough for trips like this!!! How much exactly. Does this girl not like humans... Wait is she an actual dragon!!!" I stood up hastily banging my leg off the table knocking the cup of tea over. "Ah shit..."

Kana came rushing back in looking panicked. "Are you okay? What happened? Why are you yelling?"

As we both cleaned up the mess, I explained the situation to Kana who nodded with an excited look in her eyes. "Woooooo. A trip into the mountains! A date with master! It'll be like our honeymoon!"

"Wait. What? No it's work. I'm going for work. Also I'm going alone!"

I was convinced I was going alone yesterday however, it didn't work out that way. Kana and I were now climbing the mountains just east of the city. She was happily humming and singing out in front of me. I however, was already tired and still confused how Kana managed to catch up to me when I left this morning. But my mood soon changed as a gust of wind blew past us catching Kana's dress which fluttered high off her petite little ass revealing her soft pink panties.

"Waaaah! Did you see?"

"Hmm? Me? No I didn't see any pink panties."

"Awww. You did... They were going to be your surprise... Boo"

"Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

"Oh well I'll have to think up another surprise. So it's all good." Kana went back to her humming like nothing happened, her naive playful personality concerned me at times.

We soon reached the top of the mountain, the air was a little thinner making it harder to breathe. Finding a cave, I decided we'd make camp there and rest for the night. The thin air and all that climbing made us both very tired. After setting up the camp and eating we both cuddled up to each other for warmth and slept.

I woke up with a chill on my stomach, I moved my hand to cover it jolting forward once I realised why it was cold. Kana was no longer there and the fire had been put out long ago. I jumped up in a panic frantically looking around for her, but she was gone. "Kana!?! Where are you!?! Shit. Did she wander off somewhere?" I went to gather my bag and noticed the food I brought was gone I also noticed some strange tracks leading away from the camp deeper into the cave. "Footprints? Could they be Kana's? There's two. One set must be hers." I wasted no time in following them and journeyed deeper into the cave.

After a shot time of following footprints, they started to be accompanied by food packaging and crumbs. "I must be getting close." I soon arrived at a large cavern with a big opening to the sky, the sun beaming down on the rock faces illuminating the darkest areas. I froze admiring the view, but my admiration soon turned to fear as I saw Kana standing there as a shadowy figure opened its jaws towering over her. "Noooo! KANA!" I leaped out from behind the rocks to save her wasting no time in shielding her and showed my back to the beast.

"Oh? Yuri..? You made it here. Yay!"

"Why are you so nonchalant? I'm here to save you from the savage dragon attack."

"Excuse me? Savage dragon attack? Tsk. You humans are always the same..." I turned around slowly to see a very displeased and annoyed dragon girl sitting on a perch. She was eating our supplies framed by the light radiating off a small fire which created the effect of a large terrifying monster. In actuality, the girl was only a fist size bigger than Kana and her head was at chest height tom me.

"O-oh... So you weren't in any danger? I see. Not that this girl could be a threat I guess..."

"Not a threat? I'll have you know that I'm the most dangerous. The most feared. The most powerful dragon there is." She stepped off her perch and strutted up to me squaring off. Not that her posture was very terrifying from my large height advantage. She pointed up at me with bread hanging out her mouth and scoffed confidently shooting a little flick of fire out from the corner of her mouth. "Are you scared?"

"Um... Sure..." I felt compelled to play along or else I'd say something so brutish and unfiltered I'd turn this fire dragon into a water dragon from all the tears. It was hard to hold my tongue looking at her and this cave, which was covered in food packaging and leftovers. Her hair was a brilliant blue sitting messily on her shoulders complimenting her bright yellow eyes. She wore a white leotard with frills on the high v-shaped cut over her stomach and ass, tightly hugging her pussy. Her arms and legs were a similar shade of blue covered in dragon scales. However, her blue skin was patchy over the rest of her body, her vitiligo skin condition making her blue scales turn to a human like pale complexion. She had long pale horns and a slim blue tail flicking back and forth like a cats tail. Pairing her petite form, sexy curves, and cute face, there was no way I could take her seriously.

Kana however, was as oblivious and as playful as ever with no filters. "You're not scary Bell. You're my friend."

A chuckle escaped my lips as I couldn't help but laugh, the great and powerful dragon had such a cute and adorable name.

She glared at me with a stare which could kill the largest of beasts before looking back at Kana with a soft smile. "Of course dear. We are friends. I'm just scary to humans. Whom I despise"

"So your name is Bell? Well I'm Yuri. A researcher for the betterment of cross species program."

"Tsk. Nobody asked."

"O-oh right... But I'm here for work related reasons. There have been concerns from the towns folk down the mountain."

"Urgh... They're such a pain. All I did was take some food..." She threw her arms in the air stretching, her soft armpits radiant in sunlight. I was left in a state of admiration watching her, which soon changed to pity as I sighed looking at the mountain of trash.

"Right... Well. I'm not here to bust you for stealing. I'm here because they were concerned about your health." Beyond her beauty, there were signs that she was struggling with something. Dark rings around her eyes, a lack of ferocity in her flames, and her vitiligo skin was very transparent.

"There's nothing wrong with me. They should keep their concerns on themselves." She huffed as a small flick of fire escaped her mouth and sat on the edge of her perch crossed legged.

"I'm sure... Either way. You're on our observation list. Which means I'm going to monitor you for a while."

Kana began hopping on one foot to the other with excitement and running around in circles. "Does that mean we get to stay here with Bell? Yay! I'm so happy. We can play so many fun games!"

Bell let out a small giggle covering her mouth with her hand. "Of course Kana. You can stay as long as you'd like. But you human. No. You can't stay here."

"What did I do? Well it doesn't matter anyway. You ate all our supplies so we can't stay anyway. Come on Kana. Let's go."

"O-oh wait... Um is this little one with you?" Bell was fidgeting, rolling her legs back and forth. From my initial observation it seemed like this girl was desperately lonely and Kana had piqued her interest.

"Yes! I live with Yuri. I love him a lot. He is kind to me and smells really nice!" Kana wrapped her arms around me nuzzling my stomach with a soft giggle.

I narrowed my eyes watching Bell mutter to herself helplessly. "Well. She could stay. If you allowed me to stay here too."

Bell looked torn, something on her mind was making her choice difficult. "No... I-I can't let any human stay here... Especially not a man... I can't..."

"I'm sure I have more snacks in my coat pocket too." I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small transparent bag filled with biscuits and shook them in front of her to sway her decision.

"I-I supposed a few nights would be fine... Nothing can happen in a few nights... Okay! You can both stay. But you human. Stay in that corner! Do not come near me. You got that!"

"Oh. Yes that's fine. Given what happened on my last job. An observation from afar sounds great..." I sighed rolling my eyes with a nervous expression looking down at the gleeful and excited Kana. However, my concern soon turned back to Bell and why she had such a deep hatred towards humans.

Kana threw her arms into the air and ran around the cavern with her abundant bottomless energy. She grabbed Bell's hands and threw her around, spinning on the spot. Kana's canine strength paired with her energetic personality was no match for the frail dragon girl.

Shaking my head with a light chuckle, I walked up to the two of them and held out the jar of biscuits to the dizzy, lightheaded dragon girl. "Here. Eat. Maybe the sugar will help with your fatigue." My fingers brushed her arm as I placed it in her hand.

She flinched recoiling from the touch looking up at me like a scared deer. Her eyes were dilated like a hungry puppy and her breathing was heavy. She was also now making some strange sounds somewhere between moaning and crying. "Wah! I-I uhhh. Mmm. Thanks... now leave... Get far away from me before I burn you to a crisp."

The tension in the cave was strange, I couldn't help but feel like it was sexual tension. Shaking my head furiously, I dismissed that idea and put it down to her hatred of humans. "I'm sorry. I'll respect your personal space from now on."

"Be sure you do. See. This is why I hate humans..."

"Aw but master is really nice. You should give him a chance."

"It's okay Kana. She doesn't need to change for our sakes." I smiled softly patting Kana on the head before walking away to find a place to set up my observation station.

The first few hours of the observation where slow giving me very little to go on. It was mostly just Kana throwing herself around and Bell chasing after her with bursts of small flames coming out the side of her mouth. "Bursts of small flames... I remember from my school days. Dragons don't usually throw out flames from their mouths uncontrollably. Nor is it that small... Just what's going on her. Could it be malnutrition. From lack of food..." The words had only just left my mouth, but it was enough for Bell to stop in her tracks for a second lost in thought staring at me as if I said something inappropriate

Night soon came as we slept under the stars which was the first night Kana didn't sleep in my bed since our little incident. She had chosen to sleep beside Bell who had become quite fond of the little wolf pup.

I couldn't sleep well that night, hungry and cold rolling back and forth dropping in and out of dreams. At some point I felt this strange feeling during one of my dreams. The dream was of Bell standing above me with a lustful look, panting heavily. I felt a drop of saliva on my cheek which jolted me awake but when I rose there was nobody near me both Kana and Bell were sleeping peacefully on their perch.

My stomach growled at the scent of something sweet and salty, a familiar smell of baked goods. "Hmm what? Mmm Pastries..." I was drooling in my sleep with my mouth open, but it soon ended abruptly as something soft and hot was forced into my mouth. Struggling to breathe I gasped waking up in a fright to see a comically scene. Bell was sat on her perch kicking her legs as Kana was trying to force a hot bun down my throat. "Waaaagggh. Staaaawp." Fighting with her canine strength, I managed to get the bun out of my throat.

After a few uncomfortable moments we all sat around the fire as I ate with a frustrated look on my face. Kana however, was staring at me with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry Yuri! I was just trying to feed you and wake you up..."

"It's okay Kana. I'm alive. So it's fine... Maybe try the other way around next time..."

"Yay! Master forgives me!" Kana was immediately back to her usual self, bouncing around the cave.

"So Bell. Where did this food come from?"

"Huh? Well the town down the mountain naturally."

"Naturally right..." I wondered about my observations so far, her eating habits and trash pile suggested it wasn't malnutrition. What exactly was causing her to be in pain and seem so weak was still beyond me. Questions I was determined to find the answers for. "Since we have questionably collected food. We can stay longer. If that's okay with you."

Bell sighed wiping her mouth after eating looking over at Kana who was giving her puppy eyes wanting to stay. "Well I suppose so. I do like the company."

"Yay! Let's play more and become best friends!" Kana's excitement echoed around the cavern which made Bell laugh, but her loud giggles turned into a soft cough.

I instinctually hoped to my feet and patted her on the back gently. "Are you okay?"

She grabbed my hand with a firm grip looking directly into my eyes. My heart skipped a beat as her beautiful yellow eyes looked like they were locked on to me looking for pleasure. Her eyes fascinated me, the colour was not typical for a dragon, nor were her pupils which were rounder than a dragon's. She bit her lip causing it to bleed returning to her dismissive self. "Didn't I tell you... To stay away from me... Or else we're going to have problems."

"Oh y-yes. Sorry Bell. But I need to know. Why? Does your hatred for humans have something to do with your sickness."

"I'm not sick! Well not conventionally anyway." Bell slapped my hand away and pushed me back putting space between us. "It doesn't matter. I don't want your help... Even if Kana says you're a good person." She stood up and wandered off to find Kana who was being loud somewhere.

I couldn't help but take note of her words, hanging on what she said. "She's unconventionally sick... What does that even mean? Who decided she was sick, her or someone else..." With that in mind I decided to take a different approach to my observations. I tried joining them as they played, I got involved cooking some of the vegetables Bell collected from the town. I also helped clean the cavern occasionally bumping into Bell who'd act like a neglected puppy for a millisecond before shoving me away.

The next few days I worked towards getting closer to Bell at least physically as trying to be socially close was a brick wall a mile high. However, my work was getting hard as my mind was trying to trip me up. The same dream of Bell standing over me drooling appeared every night and each time I saw it she was getting closer and closer to me.

The next day I decided that we'd head home the next morning both to Kana and Bella disappointment. Which marked this day as the final day for my observation. However, I was getting frustrated with the lack of development for my efforts. "Ah the boss will fire my ass for this little work... Not that anyone could get anything from this human hating dragon."

Kana hugged me nuzzling my stomach as she looked up at my frustrated face. "Don't say that about Bell. She likes you."

"I appreciate you saying so Kana. But you don't have to be nice. Just for me."

"No. It's true. She's always asking me questions about you. Like what's your favourite food. Or what's your stamina like. Um or um. Are you kind to everyone. I didn't really understand them. But it seems like she really likes you."

"O-oh. Yeah it does sound like it doesn't it. Right! I have a plan. Thank you Kana. You really know how to put the fire back in my step." I leaned down kissing her cheek and patted her head and walked over to Bell with a determined step.

Bell jumped, spurting out a small flame from the corner of her mouth as I approach. "W-what do you want. Nasty human." She was holding the bundle of vegetables we planned to eat that night almost dropping then with a frustrated look, glaring at me.

"Well. I was thinking about my research. To begin with everything seemed to lead to malnutrition."

"Yes. So you've mentioned..."

"Right. Well I think there's more to it. Isn't there. I believe it's about your... Other side. The side you're not telling us about. The reason I was assigned this job."

"Well. There isn't anything else. You're wrong."

I leaned over her studying her scales and vitiligo patches. Now knowing she didn't hate me I felt more courageous to get closer to her. "Why are you scales missing? I must assume it's to do with your half species genes."

"Waahhh! Uuum. Ge-get away from meee." Her usual hissing were accompanied by a high pitched moan as she threw the vegetables into the air to push me away.

Acting quickly, I grabbed her arms pulling her close to me staring into her eyes my nose hovering just above hers. "Your eyes are beautiful. This yellow is not a common dragon colour. A sign of your other half? I know of a few species off the top of my head."

"Wah s-stop. Go awayyy. Uuuuhh"

"I'm not sure if your mad or scared. What's causing these mixed reactions?" Pushing my luck I place a finger on her body tracing one of the patches of vitiligo. "This is quite the change. Blue scales to soft white skin. Fascinating." Something caught my attention, more specifically, my nose as I sniffed her body like a wild dog. "What's this smell? It's... it's so good..." My mouth started to water as I felt my pants tighten caused by my bulge.

"It does? Wait it does!!! AHH. GET AWAY!" With all her remaining dragon strength, she shoved me hard sending me across the cavern. She hopped from foot to foot fidgeting with her leotard as she moaned awkwardly.

Maybe because of my concussion from hitting the wall but I was sure I could see a trail of liquid run down her leg in that moment too. I got a few answers, but they came with the price of more questions.

Kana kept me from falling asleep tending to my pained head as our last day was a quiet one. Once comfortable that I could sleep, I collapsed in a heap replaying today's observations on repeat.

The night was another restless one as I dropped in and out of dreams. The same fantasy dream appeared again, Bell was hovering over me with lustful eye. But this time that hypnotic smell snapped me back to reality. "Mmm... Wait. Bell! What are you doing. That's really you isn't it."
