Allie sits at the foot of her bed, a small circle drawn into the floor in sharpie as she looks over a torn and battered spellbook. It's open to a page titled "New Hellhound Creation" that is filled with all kinds of different sigils and symbols that she has replicated in the spell circle on the ground. Allie takes a deep breath before looking down. "I hope this works..." She mumbles before starting the spell's chant, hoping silently that this actually works.
After a few moments the circle starts to glow ever so slightly. Almost as if it is powered half way, the sharpie seeming to flake off at the edges ever so slightly.
Allie takes a moment before looking over the spell again, starting to panic before realizing she needs to enter the circle. "Alright alright... I can do this..." she mutters to herself before stepping off the bed and into the circle.
The moment she enters the circle, a bright red light explodes around her. A inky chill rolling up Allie's spine as she does, the room starting to warp and distort around her as if she is being brought somewhere very far away.
Allie watches in awe as the shifts and changes, eyes growing wide with fear and amazement. "What... what is happening." She mutters to herself as she looks down at the spell circle, trying her best not to panic. Her arms slowly moving up to hug her chest anxiously, hands starting to squeeze tightly.
There's a rumbling impact as the circle fades completely. Allie is left standing in a low light cavestructure with a strange stone structure almost like a building at the end, the words 'Adoption Center' carved roughly into its face above the door. Looking around there's nowhere else to go but forward.
Allie gingerly steps forward, cautiously eyeing the strange place she has found herself. After a few minutes she takes a deep breath and walks into the 'Adoption Center', wringing her hands as she steps beyond the threshold.
The interior is a stark departure from the rough stone of the outside. There are light red crystals slotted within the walls and pulsing with warmth, shining down on a massive living area. There are six massive pelt and plush beds with massive beasts laying in all but one.
To her eyes the closest thing Allie can find to describe them is the traditional definition of a lycanthrope. With one big difference, each seems to be quadrupedal and far more docile to the naked eye. Each with a different color coat, ranging from silver to rust.
Each has a thick iron collar wrapped around their neck, and several well chewed plush toys... and what appear to be some kind of bone.
As she steps inside, several of their heads perk up and start to glance over at the newest arrival. The smallest starting to growl at her, its ash gray tail standing up behind it.
Allie gasps and smiles wide, gushing over them as she looks around the room. "Oh my god, you all look precious! I thought hellhounds would be scarier but you are all just so cute!" She says as she moves over to the empty pelt bed and sits at the edge of it, waving at the ash gray furred one to come closer. "I'm guessing you all have names, I promise I'm nice. I just wanted a familiar, it's supposed to help with spells."
"Well then ya cast the wrong spell!" The back left wall slides open slowly, revealing a much larger hellhound. Standing on her hind legs, and dressed in a pair of blue jean overalls and a buttoned up red dress shirt. "Ya signed yourself up for adoption." The behemoth of a woman grins, as she walks over and kneels down across from Allie. Snapping at the growling grey hound and tisking. "Now Trixy, ah told ya just because ya're little now don't mean ya can go around scaring the new ones."
Allie gasps at the sight of the new hellhound before paling slightly. "S-signed up for adoption... n-no I'm very sure I picked the right spell..." She mutters to herself, slowly trying to back away but she just ends up falling back into the bed. "I-I swear..."
"Nah dear, you cast the spell to create a new hellhound. Not to get one darlin, anyway all these ones are wayyyy to little still." The massive woman reaches out and ruffles Allie's hair gently, staying politely seated across from her. "Mah name is probably not somethin ya can understand as ya are now, but ya can call me Mah." She grins wide, her maw drooling slightly. "And like ya said, these pups are precious... and ya will be a precious part of our family!"
Allie backs away more, breathing fast as she tries to wrap her mind around what is happening. "What but I..." she mutters as she looks up at Mah, eyes wide with fear. "What... what are you going to do to me?" She whispers before eyeing the other hellhounds
"Well ya are gonna go through a few changes, then once ya are done growin big and strong with me. Ah will find ya a very loving home with a witch who understands what spells she's actually castin." Mah gently snaps her fingers, and the collar attached to the wall behind Allie floats up and clips around the woman's neck.
