"Where have you been?" Mark asked as he walked up from the basement of the Rucker Mansion. When they took you out of the gym, I thought you were dead. It's been three weeks now since I saw you.
"I have been here, in the Master Bedroom upstairs. So much has happened since that day. We are getting ready for some Vampire Hunters to walk through the front door. Stay where you can see, but not get shot." I told him.
"How do you know that?" he asked.
"We will talk about it when I wrap this up," I told him as the door began to open and three guys with guns walked into the foyer.
"Welcome," I said to them. "What can I do for you?"
"You know why we are here," Gary the leader of the group said laughing as if it was some kind of joke. They had their guns aimed at me as he spoke. "We know this is a den of vampires and we need you to lead us to them or get shot."
"Those silver bullets in those guys boys?" I asked as they stepped forward and closed the door.
"One of the deadliest things for vampires which I assume you are one," Gary responded.
"You got me there, though I was a vampire but now I am an Immortal, so you can put the guys away. I can't help you except to drink some of your blood. I just got up and I'm thirsty. You can't kill an Immortal don't you know that?"
They laughed as they cocked their guns.
"Where are the others? Where do you have your caskets?"
They thought they had the upper hand. I could tell they have been at this for a while. They were the first group to find us in Everett but things in the last few weeks have changed.
"Tell you what boys. I will introduce you to the vampires. We are getting together now. But I must warn you, after you meet them, they will transition you to becoming vampires and you will experience what it is like to be chased by hunters. You might as well shoot me now so we can get this over."
They looked at each other, nodding, and fired at me. The bullets hit my skin and bounced off.
"You have a vest under there?" one of them asked.
"Here, I said, let me take my shirt off, you ruined it by putting holes into it," I remarked to them taking my bullet-riddled shirt off. "Now reload and let's do this again."
They reloaded the same results. One took a wooden cross from his bag, rushed at me, and tried to drive it into my heart. It did not pierce my skin.
"Now let me help with your education. As I said, I am an Immortal I am the Alpha male, and let me introduce you to Tina, the Alpha female."
Tina came down the stairs and stood next to me. The three tried to back away but stood frozen where they were.
"Great demonstration for the others," I told them as Ted and several other vampires came out of hiding walking into the room. Tina walked over and took their bags and weapons.
"I could kill you but transforming you into a vampire will be so much more fun," I said placing handcuffs on them. "I also can freeze you in place with my mind, that's why you cannot move. Now I have allowed you movement again, my limo has pulled up out front so follow me as we head over to the gathering, Ted and a couple of his fellow vampires will look after you and I will check on you tomorrow to see how it went."
We left and went to the gym for our weekly celebration. Tina and I had other plans, we were looking for two humans to transition to Immortals and one to bear my next child. Tina was giving birth to my first this week and we wanted to accelerate the process as for some reason we had just learned that humans had lost their ability to procreate.
We found many interested in the vampire scene would attend our celebrations, more never believed vampires were real. It was usually a younger crowd who thought we faked it.
