It only took a few minutes for the ladies to finish up their meal and then put the leftovers in the fridge. After that we stood at the bedroom doorway. Lady Sakuya raised her hand and it glowed with a shimmering golden light. After a moment, a portal opened up that was completely filling in the bedroom doorway with a gray shimmering cloud in the center which looked like a snowy screen from a television.
"Let us proceed."
Kagero nodded as both she and Hitomi each took one of my arms and we walked to the portal, following Lady Sakuya as she walked through first.
Stepping into the portal, We instantly were sent in another completely different location. Gone was my hotel bedroom, and instead we were now walking down the street in a large old style Japanese countryside village! As we walked along there were shops and restaurants with various kinds of business being conducted and the wondrous smells of the foods being prepared and served.
Many of the patrons were humanoid or beings of different races and kinds that up until this moment I thought were mythical. Some looked like canines, others looked like wild cats and sheep. Others looked like they could only be described as Ogres and beautiful female Oni. There were also some elves in the mixture as well as a couple of other kitsune.
I can only describe myself as being completely amazed by what I was seeing!
Although we were passing by mostly unnoticed, there were some that seemed to have taken notice of my presence amongst them as we walked through the street. and some of the few that did notice me were not looking quite so pleased with my being there. I remembered what Kagero and Lady Sakuya mentioned earlier that there had been some beings who had been mistreated by humans and I thought that it was better to mind my manners here and not provoke them... in this place, I was probably both the pariah and the minority here.
To avoid staring at anything or anyone too long in particular, I focused my attention back forward.
As we walked onward I saw that Lady Sakuya was occasionally looking back at me over her right shoulder. When she would notice my eyes were on her's, she quickly turned around looking back forward again. It seemed like she was still observing me and gauging my response to the new surrounding and situation.
After walking around a bit longer, we finally arrived around just before noon time at a large estate. A large wooden fence surrounded the perimeter of the property. as we walked through the front gate the well maintained courtyard gave way to a large and lavish old style Japanese two story spa building that looked like it had multiple rooms. It was both very retro and very stylish at the same time in my personal opinion.
"Welcome finally to my hot spring onsen. Make yourselves at home," Lady Sakuya said as we walked through the entrance. The interior was wood trimmed with traditional paper and bamboo automatic sliding doors that looked like they had gold handles. The surrounding walls looked like they had century old artwork designed and displayed on each one, giving the interior lobby looks rivaling a modern hotel as it was also decorated with small flower plots and what looked like authentic bonsai trees adorned with miniature fountains at different points of the wooden building.
"The changing rooms for the onsen are over there..." she pointed out the adjacent corridor atop a small flight of five step stairs. "... they are equipped with showers and separated for men and women, but the onsen is both separate and mixed bathing in some areas. Just make sure that you read the entrance signs for each area and be sure not to disturb the other guests while the three of you are enjoying your time here."
"Thank you, Lady Sakuya..." we all said in unison as we made our way into the changing rooms. As we reached the top of the stairs there was a small sign on both sides of the corridor that each had a symbol on it. A blue male figure on one sign depicting the men's side, and a red woman figure on the other for the women. After we parted ways to each side it was a small matter of disrobing and putting our clothes in one of the provided places. Then a shower to wash ourselves clean before entering the onsen.
After making sure that I was thoroughly cleaned, I was looking for something to wear in the bath, but couldn't find anything but a yukata, a traditional Japanese bathrobe. So after putting that on I made my own way to the onsen entrances. They were mostly outdoor but they had a few that were inside closed areas in case of bad weather. The doors had signs clearly indicating male, female and mixed bathing so it wasn't too hard to figure it out. The girls and I had already agreed to meet up in the open area mixed bathing onsen already, so I made my way to the entrance from the shower.
As I made my way to the door, there was a sign posting the rules:
1. Take off your slippers at the edge of the onsen.
2. Be naked! No swimsuit or towels inside the onsen.
3. No washing yourself inside the onsen. No soap beyond this point.
4. Be clean! Wash your body completely first.
5. Before leaving, wipe your body before entering the dressing room.
6. If you have long hair tie your hair up.
7. Only onsen approved drinks allowed.
8. If you are drinking, never drink alone.
9. Please keep drinking glasses out of the bath.
*I guess that's why I couldn't find any trunks... looks I'm only gonna be wearing a smile in there...* I thought to myself as I hung up the yukata on one of the hooks and walked through the doorway.
Even though the onsen was open area, it was almost the size of an Olympic swimming pool! There were a few couples who were already in the landscape decorated bath, some of them were sitting on benches in the shallow area, while other couples were making out with each other in the tree shaded area with deeper waters.
There were also a group of six beautiful females of various species. As soon as one of them noticed me she immediately pointed me out to the other five females, and soon after that, the shallow area of the room was filled with Ooohs and giggles being said in my direction. Granted that I was standing there naked as the rule of the onsen bath was 'No bathing suits'. But it took me a second to realize that the girls were ogling me! Not that I was very offended, because each one of them would actually be quite the catch for any guy if they didn't mind horns or ears in certain different places.
But I was feeling kinda shy as I didn't even know who they were, so I nodded respectfully and began to walk away.
"Hey, wait!..." a voice called out.
I turned around to see that one of the females had left the group and was swimming her way through the shallow bath towards me. She had a strawberry red Bob-cut hairstyle that was cropped halfway down between her chin and her shoulders. Her skin looked tanned and she had a couple of short horns at the corners on her forehead. Her sparkling emerald green eyes were glistening in the sunlight. And even though she kept the front of her naked body face down as she crawled forward almost on her hands and knees in the water towards me in the bath, as she drew near from what I could see she probably had a very nice figure.
"Hello handsome!" She said.
