The nap before the briefing to the High Chancellor had been almost too long. Having rushed to the Council Chambers just in time made Eliza aware of how tired she was. After the briefing to the High Chancellor, she returned to her offices for a longer nap. Results from the medical evaluations or any of the other analysis were still in work and she needed the rest.
Eliza was trapped in disjointed visions of the fat elf, her three guests, a reporter, and a supersized sperm chasing her and trying to impregnate her. The fat elf was starting unhappily at it. Her guests were cheering it on. The reporter was trying to interview it. And Eliza was preparing to be mounted by the giant sperm with its enormous cock when she was awakened by multiple strong knocks on her office door.
Looking at the clock, she had gotten two hours of rest. Checking herself quickly, she called out for the person knocking to come in. There were two people, not one: a doctor from the medical team and one of Timothina's best chemists. Eliza motioned for them to sit in one of the available chairs.
"So, what brings you two here? Do we have any results from the tests?"
The chemist responded first. "Chief Inspector, we have preliminary results and findings. The contamination vector was NOT the furs. Instead, the numerous gifts the former Santa gave Mrs. McGillicuddy were covered with a skin soluble oil that carried the chemicals it was testing on her. We've given information regarding both the oil and the chemical data to the medical team. Additionally, we've determined that the furs and the possessions of the three transient females can be cleaned. They weren't in the house long enough and did not appear to come into direct contact with any of the contaminated items. Most of the non-metallic and porous possessions of the permanently resident female and the house itself are not salvageable. We have secured all the items the former Santa gave and are performing additional analysis."
