This is a short work of erotic fiction containing furry, or anthropomorphic, characters, which are animals that either demonstrate human intelligence or walk on two legs, for the purposes of these tales. It is a thriving and growing fandom in which creators are prevalent in art and writing especially.
Please note that all characters are clearly over eighteen and written as such in all stories.

Car and Sasha shouldn't have spent as much time together as they did, but, well, she was his girlfriend's mother! He had to be on good terms with her!
"Oh -- Sasha!"
He was on a first-name basis with her, Sasha telling him, very firmly, that she was no longer a "Mrs" anything in that way, though she let him rush out of the house and help her with the groceries. She had too many carrier bags, as usual, though it was Fyr who had encouraged her to switch to reusable ones, though it was a bigger mental change for her than it might have been for someone younger who had started off with the environment in mind. Not that it was Sasha's fault, of course, but the number of paper bags too and more recyclable material that her goods were packaged in did not much help the number of bags that she had at all.
"Thank you, Carenath," she said with a warm smile, as genuine as always. "Kao never helps me with the bags."
It was a tease and one that game good-naturedly, for she did not mind Kao being as busy as he had been, especially with sports and, when she could get him to focus, school too. Even Fyr had been busy, busy, busy over the years, focusing so much on her studies that, at times, Sasha even wondered if she had a daughter at all. She knew she was there, so warm and powerful and vibrant, but the absence of her was felt in the house when her work and studies took her away.
Sasha's heart pulled, something leaping and fluttering in her chest as her fingers brushed the drake's. Yet all she could think about as the fact that she didn't want to lose her daughter, to see her go, though Fyr would have to properly move out sooner or later. Sasha was more than happy to have her around for as long as Fyr wanted to stay, of course, although she tried to give her as much space as possible so that she did not feel crowded. If she treated her daughter like the adult she was, she could hopefully have her around and near for a little longer, which she would like. Ultimately, however, it was Fyr's choice.
She could have noticed how close Car was to her, though her feeling towards her daughter overruled that, even if she did not quite realise it. His fingers were light on hers, however, strong on gripping the bags, bringing together something different, something new, the thought that, perhaps, things did not have to change so much for her to still have the life that she wanted with her little family.
Carenath, of course, was privy to none of what was going on in her head, merely thinking that he was there being helpful and helping out, which was all he'd intended to do. And yet there was something about Sasha that had him jerking into motion like a puppet tugged by the strings of the puppeteer, his limbs moving rapidly in short, sharp jerky motions, though he acted entirely of his own accord. There was a want there to be closer, to do more, to be with her, even if Carenath did not quite acknowledge it yet for himself.
But that was okay. There was no rush when dragons were sorting out their feelings. That was what his mother had told him anyway and he wanted to be the best boyfriend he could for Fyr, showing Sasha, in his own way, that he was worth it.
For Fyr, yes.
He carried the bags quickly into the kitchen, though did not quite know where everything went, Fyr poking her head around the door from the living room.
"Oh, I wondered where you'd gone! Let me help you with those!"
"It's almost like we have our own little house together, you helping me put the groceries away," Car teased her, jabbing her hip with the pointed tip of his tail. "I'll get everything off the high shelves for you, cuddle you when you're making dinner..."
"Hey, we're like the same height pretty much, Car!"
Though it was all in good fun, Fyr laughing, her heart light. It was good to have her boyfriend near so much and Sasha certainly seemed to like him more and more too, which was a relief to Fyr. She'd worried that there would be more friction there after Kao had been a little concerned about her wellbeing with another boyfriend, though she did have to admit that the rather rockier relationship that had turned her off dating for a good while had been a good few years ago.
Sometimes, she had to remind herself to be happy, that there was nothing else she could do in the moment and that worries got her nowhere. Even though her mind was apt to go off on tangents and off on branches of thinking that were neither beneficial to her nor what she wanted to be considering at any given time.
It was hard to let things go, but being near Car made her feel like a new dragoness, as if the past had not happened, something that she could finally release from her mind. She would always have him to thank for that, regardless of what happened between them, the nature of their relationship. Fyr still didn't yet know what would come of them and what they wanted to do after the summer ended.
The day wore on, though Car's eyes, again and again, wandered to Sasha. He didn't know why but he could not have been said to fight it all that much either, not as things changed, shifting, pulling him closer to her. It was no longer quite Fyr that he wanted to be closest to, but chose the seat that put him between his girlfriend and her mother instead, which was a strange look for any boyfriend.
