Born Into Darkness Ch 02

Sophie looked up to see what were a pair of gold eyes, now transforming into chocolatey brown ones, the ones she clearly remembered from her dream.

"What the fuck were those things?!" Sophie yelled, still clutching her now throbbing wrist.

"I call them lacertus in Latin or sáv̱ra in Greek for lizard, but they're really daimons. Look, you're injured. Here, give me your wrist."

"I have to be dreaming right now..." That had to be the only reasonable explanation as to why her smoking hot Santa Claus was here in the flesh.

Her leather clad stranger took her damaged wrist, causing her to wince in pain. He put his hand over it, and a light golden glow emitted from his palm. Within seconds, her wrist felt good as new. Flexing it a couple times, Sophie was now certain she was dreaming, whatever he did to her wrist wasn't humanly possible... unless.

Looking up at him she asked, "What are you?"

Dean chuckled; he had to give the woman credit for keeping her composure. For a second there he thought she would've run screaming for the hills.

"My name is Dean Cleisthenes," he said as he inclined his head, ignoring her previous question.

Sophie didn't know what to say, since it was obvious Dean didn't to talking about what he was. She reached out to grab Big Bertha, but Dean wouldn't let her. Instead, he swiftly took a step away from her and wagged his finger at her as if she were a toddler who was just caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

"Listen Dean, I feel like I just entered the freaking Twilight Zone. I need Big Bertha back so I can head home, shower and sleep, because I'm clearly suffering from some sort of insomniac hallucinations right now." Sophie tried reaching for her bag one more time but Dean side stepped her.

"You didn't give me your name; I will trade you Big Betty-"

"Bertha."

Dean smiled, flashing a pair of sexy dimples, causing Sophie to blush. "My apologies, prinkípissa. I will give you your Big Bertha, if in return you give me your name."

Sophie couldn't believe this guy. But he did save her life and he was hotter than hell itself, so she decided to play along.

"My name is Sophie."

"And your last name..." Dean asked as he had Sophie's bag hovering over her head.

Sophie huffed in exasperation before she jumped for her bag, making herself look silly in the process. In doing that, Dean laughed.

"Why are you doing this?" Sophie said as she tried one last time to jump for her bag.

"A boon for a boon, after all I did save your life."

"What so you're a freaking pirate now and a hero, very cute." Knowing she was never going to win against this six foot giant, Sophie crossed her arms over her chest and mumbled, "Valentine."

Dean chuckled and handed Sophie her bag and couldn't help but wanting to kiss her pouty lips.

Placing Big Bertha over her left shoulder, she looked up at Dean and stuck her tongue out. She couldn't help it, all of this was ridiculous, but she couldn't be any happier with this stranger.

Dean glanced at his watch and saw that it was late. He took Sophie's right hand and brought it up to his lips. "Until we meet again prinkípissa." Dean lightly kissed Sophie's hand then headed towards an obsidian motorcycle.

Sophie couldn't stop looking at his delicious ass as he walked away. She bet she could bounce a quarter off it.

Heading home, which was only a block away, she could barely wait to tell Mandy she actually met Santa Claus.

When Dean reached his mansion on Lakeshore Drive, he scanned his thumb on the screen of the hidden bio scanner, opening the main gates. He revved his bike and drove to the main entrance. Pulling out the kickstand, he took off his helmet and placed it on the handle bar.

He turned off his bike, throwing his leg over to get off. He waved his hand out and locked the invisible protection shield he had on the house before entering. He was greeted by Munchy, his brown ridgeback dog. He pat him on the head, walked over to the bar where he poured himself a glass of Jack Daniels and heads downstairs to the garage.

Smiling mischievously, he rubbed his hands together, grabbing a wrench to face his latest project; a vintage Harley he found at a dumpster while trying to chase down a daimon.

Snapping his finger, he turned on his iHome and "Under the Bridge" by Red Hot Chili Peppers started playing. As Dean got to his knees to tighten a loose bolt, he couldn't help but think about Sophie. There was just something about her that was compelling. She somehow drew him in like a moth to a flame.

She was sexy as hell, his inner beast was pacing the whole time waiting to take her, and it scared the shit out of him.

He's been with countless women, not counting nymphs, and none of them had ever affected him this much. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't remove the image of having her pinned down under his body and thrusting into her like the wild animal he is, having her scream his name over and over. Every time he looked at her, his blood abandoned his brain and shot down straight to his dick, which he could probably use as a hammer.

Everything about her appealed to him; From her curly, raven black hair to her tan, sun kissed skin and long eyelashes that enhanced the brown eyes that warmed his dark soul, onto the cute birthmarks on her face, her plump kissable lips, her small perky breasts that were hidden behind those revolting green scrubs, moving down to her flat stomach, amazing child baring hips, scrumptious ass that he knew would overflow in his hands, thick thighs he knew would keep his hands warm in the winter when needed, down to her adorably tiny feet. She was probably a size five if he had to guess.

She was only 5'2 at the most, but this Sophie Valentine played havoc with his mind and emotions in a way he never felt before. If this went on any longer, she'd have him eating out of the palm of her hand, and surprisingly, he was ok with that, and he would do anything to see her again.

With that in mind, Dean manifested her pink wallet in his hands. He knew this was wrong, but he needed to see her again.

"Munchy, do you think I'm crazy?"

Munchy barked, stood on his hind legs, pressed his paws against Dean's chest and licked his face.

Laughing, he scratched Munchy behind the ears and began walking upstairs with him in tow.

"Listen up, Mutt, we've got a long day ahead of us tomorrow, so we gotta start planning now." Dean ran up the stairs and into his office. Sitting down in his leather chair, he placed his feet on top of the mahogany desk and stared at the out of place pink wallet on top of it.

"Sophie Valentine, prepare to be amazed."
