Have you ever heard a person say seeing is believing? I love a good ghost story and hear different folklore across the world. A couple of friends were telling me a story about a haunted house near by that has been abandoned for almost a century on the other side of town. They started the story by giving me a history of what happened. Started in 1910 there were a couple of guys that lived in this home that was made back in the mid 1800s. These guys were known to keep to themselves, only leave the home to buy necessities and certain oils from a specialty store, and always keep there windows draped. No one really knew who they were and for a small town everyone knows everyone's name. Unfortunately there was a story that developed around town that they were worshiping the devil or practicing witchcraft. Panic accrued and created a mob style of citizens with so much hate and fear that the citizens of the small town silently entered in there home and murdered them all with wood carved stakes while they were sleeping.
After the police were notified and an investigation started, the detectives discovered nothing out of the ordinary except that all guys were nude sleeping in there bedrooms with two in each bed. Finding out that they were all gay which was frowned upon during that time and was afraid that they wouldn't have been excepted in the small town because of what they are and not who they are. They reason why no one has owned this home since they murders is not because of the murder but because of what happened to each person that bought the home. Even though it is a beautiful home with all the original furniture, each person that tries to buy it felt a presence over themselves. No one wants the home and no Realtor will even get near it. Some people say that they see lights on in the home even though electricity hasn't powered the home since then.
My friends continued to say that on Halloween night at midnight we are going into that very home to perform a seance to speak to the ghosts that haunt that home to this very day. In my own thoughts I figured they were just crazy and went along with there haunted night plans. As midnight approached, it was unusually warm that even so I put on a pair of shorts, a t-shirt, and my flip flops. My friend came by with the group in the car and we all started our way to this home. As we approach closer I kept on thinking that this is a crazy idea and was telling myself how stupid this plan is. A few moments later we arrived on the street and the home to the left at the end is our destination. We pulled up on the right side of the home in the driveway and got out of the car. I glanced at the home and you can definitely tell the age of the home. It was kept up, grass mowed, and very well maintained by someone. We all started up to the door and there was a post that says do not enter by authority of the Historic Society. On the bottom in small print is gave a warning that who ever does enter this home to be aware of possible dangers.
