(Author's note.
Hi everyone. Sorry this was a couple of months late, something happened that kind of killed my good vibe.
On that note this is going to be the end of Who's The Bitch Now for a while. If I get any interest in putting out the other half of it I'll pick it up and write some more. If not, I hope you enjoyed what you got.
The Dollmakers will be back. I have a few things in mind, but I also have a few other story ideas kicking around I might run with first.
I had a great time writing this though, so you can expect more where this came from)
Jerry looked at the picture that had been sent to his phone. He stared at it for a minute and then started to laugh, a shaky shrill little noise that made him sound giddy.
"Thank you, oh my god this'll get him off my back forever. This rules, he'll have to leave me alone! This is worth everything I paid." Mason studied him, his head cocking to the side.
"Worth what you paid? This is a status update; we're just getting started."
"What?"
"You told us what you wanted. Not to worry though, if you think that was impressive, you'll have plenty of opportunities for more just like it. He's going to be chasing after more than just our planted operatives soon enough."
"What do you mean more just like it?"
"Well, it's only a matter of time before we pull our guy out, he has a life to get back to. At that point he won't have any choice but to look for it elsewhere. Chances are he'll start with the easy places to hook up anonymously but even then, word'll spread. Pretty soon he'll be known as the campus slut. That's even without the whole sissy aspect you wanted. We're only about halfway done."
"Wait, I'm not sure I still want that. I was angry when I said that. I just wanted to get one over on him."
"You spent what I'd guess would be your life savings on this. You gave us everything you had to turn a man you hate into a very specific type of person."
"As long as he's humiliated and leaves me alone, I've got what I wanted. You can keep the rest of the money and get off work early. It's fine."
"See I'm not sure it is," he sighed, scratching his head. "My partners aren't going to take this well. See one of them is halfway through her work and she hates to be interrupted. We can't even guarantee it'll stick. For all we know the programming might reverse itself if we don't finish the job. He could be back to the man he once was in a couple of months."
"I've got enough on him to stop him messing with me, it's fine."
"Again, I'm not sure it is," he sighed. "She was so happy to be doing her work, and I don't want to cut her off halfway through. Then there's the bigger problem."
"The bigger problem?"
"The senior partner."
"Who?"
"The senior partner. An extremely ruthless, extremely sadistic and if it matters extremely large man who doesn't believe in leaving jobs half done. There's a chance he'll lose his temper if I tell him this and trust me when I tell you my asshole can't take that."
"Can I speak to him? Maybe I can make him see sense." This time he laughed.
"Buddy if you aren't brave enough to stand up against a regulation bully you damn sure aren't brave enough to be in a room with the senior partner. You'd piss yourself and run before he said three words." He leaned forward. "It's best if you just let us do what we do, get the job done and call it all good."
"I don't want that. Look, this is sadistic. I want you to stop. I'm the client, right? You should do what the client wants."
Mason thought about that, then sucked air through his teeth. "Sorry, but that's not how this goes. You put things in motion you can't turn them back now. Did you think this was some average business transaction? That you could dictate terms?"
"I could go to the police."
"And say what? The people I hired to brainwash my school bully won't stop? It's not even legally acknowledged that these techniques work, and if we denied it then what? How would you prove it? Even if we don't have any influence over the police there wouldn't be anything you could do to even facilitate an arrest, much less make charges stick. We didn't imprison anyone, didn't hurt anyone. Hell, if it hadn't been exactly what you wanted you wouldn't know we'd done anything."
"I don't want this."
"The train has left the station. I'll tell you what, I'll talk to the partners and see if we can take a step back on the sissification aspect, but I'm afraid the rest has to continue."
"Oh," he nodded. "All right," he did his best to put a brave face on it, but the boy looked like he was about to break down. "I guess I'll try to enjoy it."
