Dear Reader,
Thank you for your patience, again this chapter was a great pleasure to write and I hope you enjoy it too. If you haven't figured it out yet, this story has strong "Nonconsent" themes. If you don't like Nonconsent, this is not the story for you. If you don't mind, or even like Nonconsent, because fantasy is fantasy and you can enjoy the fantasy without deciding it means you need to go out and do this stuff, then enjoy. I do not condone any non-consensual activity, nor any illegal activities, now matter how often I include them in my stories. I believe you can learn from bad examples in stories and decide to be better. So enjoy the parts you find sexy, and learn from the parts that are stupid or bad. Anyways, here is the latest chapter!

The sun was still rising as we pulled up to our destination. It was about a two hour drive from my home, but now this was perfect. My time spent with Mr. Richards had paid off, and while I had skipped out on some of the inspections, almost buying the place sight unseen, seeing it for the first time it was... well... perfect.
"Wow..." Karen breathed. "It's so beautiful."
I smiled. Yep, this was a good move.
"I didn't know you had a second house." Karen sighed in admiration.
Talia, still wearing the sack over her head that I had requested she wear for the ride, perked up in the back seat.
"You can take the hood off and take a look." I told her.
Talia reached up and took the hood off, then gasped. "Beautiful."
Before us was a cabin, about three floors tall, with a steeply sloped single peak roof containing a few rows of solar panels. The walls least affected by the roof were dominated by large windows. One of these walls pointed towards us and the canyon behind us. The other wall pointed away from us and out over my private lake. Pine trees dominated the forest on the mountains around us, though a fair number of other trees dotted the peaks as well. The mountains surrounding us blocked all signs of civilization.
"Come on inside." I smirked, loving their reactions.
Talia took a deep breath. "Nothing beats the mountain air..."
Inside, I pulled out a piece of paper, and started following instructions. The previous owner had Starlink for his internet and I had taken that over. There was an app for the thermostat, window controls, monitoring the solar, and just about everything.
While I took command of my new mountain sanctuary, Karen and Talia began exploring.
"This is nice!" Karen admitted. "Though the decoration style seems off, like it isn't your style..."
"That's because it isn't." I admitted. "The previous owner was some California celeb, and from what I understand, they decided Hawaii was a better place for their vacation home. I guess they just ditched this place for the beaches."
"They just... left it?" Talia gaped in disbelief. "Fully furnished?"
"Yeah, I already had cleaners come in. The old bed was tossed and I had a new one brought in." I explained. "After I take stock of what we have in the pantry, I will be driving into town to get groceries and to run an errand. I expect you two to be moved in when I get back."
"So we live here now?" Karen wondered.
"Talia certainly does." I answered. "No one will see her here or report her. Which means her bitch of a mother can't try and drag Talia back into her clutches."
Talia swallowed.
"And in case you were wondering if you were right about the bitch, " I added, casting my phone to the TV mounted on the wall, "check this out."
"Breaking news," The newscaster in the video clip began, "recent kidnapping and rape victim, Talia Whitmore, age 21, has gone missing, and police are seeking any leads into where she may have gone."
Talia swallowed, looking at the picture of herself on the screen.
"This image was taken from a neighbor's Ring doorbell, showing Talia walking out after she escaped from captivity earlier this week." The newscaster continued. "Authorities are worried she may be mentally unstable following her traumatic encounter."
"My baby doesn't know what she's doing." Mrs. Whitmore cried. "She just needs to be brought home, safe and sound."
"This story has garnered little national attention, as the culprit seems to have released the victims willingly, but whoever he is, he is being sought by the police on charges of kidnapping, and rape." The newscaster stated dramatically.
"There is a distinct possibility that she is experiencing a mental breakdown of sorts, and her mother is seeking a legal guardianship over her, as Talia is recovering from this harrowing experience." A police chief, or some other self-important windbag, asserted.
"Ripped from her life, put through weeks of Hell on Earth, now her whereabouts are unknown and police are seeking any leads as to where Talia Whitmore has gone." The Newscaster reiterated.
I cut it off.
"Weeks of hell?" Karen laughed. "You seemed to enjoy your 'hell' pretty thoroughly."
Talia shrank. "She's actually... doing it..."
"The guardianship?" I asked.
"Yeah... she's threatened it before, but I didn't think she'd ever do it." Talia admitted quietly, hugging her shoulders.
I was tempted to tell her the odds of her mother being able to actually pull it off and get the guardianship were low, incredibly low. If she was found, the police would bring her in, she'd get a psych evaluation, and as soon as it was determined that she was mentally there, at least enough, the guardianship would fail.
Talia seemed to think otherwise. I couldn't figure out why though. Sure, Cassandra Whitmore was well-off, but I didn't think you could pay your way through court and just get what you wanted because you were rich. But I guess I hadn't been following Cassandra Whitmore very long, so maybe Talia knew something I didn't.
"Well, there is only one road heading up here, with a gate at the bottom." I told Talia. "There are fences around the entire two hundred acres I own, and there are 'no trespassing' postings everywhere. The previous owner was serious about his privacy, and set up cameras in multiple places around the property. I now have control of those video streams, so if anyone trespasses, I will know."
Talia seemed comforted, somewhat.
"Plus, as far away as we are from your home, it's going to be really crazy for them to pick this place out, in the middle of the mountains." I pointed out. "No one knows you are here, and there is no reason for them to look here."
