This fantasy work of FICTION contains themes of bullying, abuse, humiliation, non-consent and other dark related kinks. This is meant as entertainment to bring enjoyment, not as something that should be carried out. If such content offends you, please do not read.
"Look at the fucking nerd," Jonas says and laughs that cruel laugh of his. You know the laugh, the one that sounds like nails on a chalkboard for most people. It's a laugh designed to let you know he believes he's better than you in every way, even if he's barely an adult at 18. The sort of laugh that is basically a verbal fart.
It's Jonas, Mariah, Phillip and myself hanging out in the front of Jonas' apartment. We all live in at this apartment complex in different apartments but for some reason we always end up hanging out on the stairs that lead up to Jonas' place. Just like how we normally end up doing whatever it is that he wants to do.
A couple just walked past us as they head to their own apartment from the parking lot. As is normal, when Jonas sees a hint of weakness in someone, he attacks like a pitbull. From the moment he saw them, he spit out insult after insult about the guy. From how the guy is short and weak looking, to the fact he is an immigrant based on his Swedish or Danish accent.
Mariah and Phillip, like myself, just sort of follow suit with Jonas and laugh. If you don't, you'll end up at the end of his focus, which is never a good place to be. And all of us have been there. It's not just the taunting, but the threats, pranks, rumors and even violence when he gets worked up. He has a temper and isn't afraid to use it.
"Hey man, ease up," Phillip tells Jonas in an effort to get him to calm down. Jonas is going hardcore at the passing couple and it is a bit of a cringefest. He's gotten so worked up that he's standing on the stairs, hunched over as he yells at the couple, daring them to turn and confront him.
"Why?" Jonas asks Phillip half serious, half annoyed. He looks at Phillip with a look that seems to imply he might hit him for trying to stop him. Phillip opens his mouth to reply, but then thinks better of it.
"Look at that skinny lil shit. Love to see him try something," Jonas states as he points at the man walking next to his spouse in front of us. I nearly say that compared to Jonas, anyone would look skinny. Being close to 300 pounds of mostly fat, Jonas is a big boy that does look intimidating, especially as he stands at over 6 feet.
The guy of the couple looks maybe 140 or 150 pounds when completely soaked. He's maybe in his 30s and looks like he could use a few good hot meals. He gives off a vibe that he may not know English, even if he's white due to the sound of his accent.
"Hey Mama, why don't you come over here, I'll show you what a real man feels like," Jonas taunts to the woman as they keep walking, trying to ignore Jonas. I feel for the couple as I'm sure they just want to get home after work, or maybe get home after a date. Man, what a crap ending to the day, having to run into someone like Jonas. Then again, if they wanted something better they shouldn't live here. Live somewhere better. Somewhere that people view the people that live here as people.
"Weak fucker, you come round here again I'm gonna beat the shit out of you," Jonas warns the guy and I can tell he's being serious. Like a high school bully, Jonas loves to physically abuse anyone that will let him. For the most part if they talk or fight back, he won't bother. One guy even knocked Jonas' ass out before he got out a full taunt. People like that he backs down too. But someone like this immigrant guy is easy pickings. He looks like the type that doesn't want to get the police involved at all.
"You heard him, and bitch, if you come round, you'll get the same from me!" Mariah crimes in, directing her warning to the woman. Mariah laughs a cringe-worthy laugh after this in an effort to sound like Jonas. That laugh, once upon a time made me smile. Now it's like milk about to go bad ever since she's hooked up with Jonas.
"Come on man, they give me a bad feeling," Phillip says in his ever-calm manner. Jonas will never admit it, but without Phillip I'm sure he'd be in jail or dead by now. Phillip's calm nature counters Jonas' and he can normally get him to back off. Sadly for Phillip, he's related to Jonas which is why he's stuck with that responsibility. If anything happens to Jonas, Phillip's mother would let him have it, even if they are all adults.
"Those two? You serious? You turning sissy on me?" Jonas asks Phillip seriously. I too get a bad feeling, not from the couple but from Jonas as it's clear he's getting more and more worked up tonight. When he gets like this, it always ends bad. He's looking for a fight and won't stop till he gets one.
"Not like the lil bitch is gonna do anything. Shit, I bet you $500 that when they come back, I can slap him and he still won't do jack," Jonas bets. Mariah, being Mariah, eggs Phillip into taking the bet. She has become very much like a little barking dog for Jonas, the sort that you want to slap to shut up.
"You are not any less of a man to me," I hear the woman walking away tell her man. They are a few steps away from the stairs when she says this, and she says it right as everyone stops talking, making it easy for all of us to hear.
Hearing this both makes me feel a warmth of love and a huge wave of sadness. It makes me feel warm because whomever she is, cares about the guy so much that she would say something so comforting after something so humiliating. But it also makes me sad because, I mean, come on, that guy should do something to stand up for his woman. He should have at least told Jonas to shut up. Instead he tucked tail and walked off like a pussy.
Laughter. I hear laughter. Turning I see Jonas laughing at what he heard and Mariah has joined in too. They both laugh uncontrollably at this, finding what she said beyond funny. Phillip and I share a look and the two of us just shake our head in disgust.
"Less of a man? I thought you were a damn lesbo couple!" Jonas laughs as he says yet another taunt. I don't laugh this time but I can see that the man is very tense from the encounter. Yet the woman grips his arm tight as if offering emotional support for him to calm down and not do anything. To this I just shake my head as he still doesn't say anything to Jonas.
"What we doing tonight?" Mariah asks a couple of minutes later, after the couple is out of sight. She's clearly in one of those moods where she's going to amp Jonas up into doing something stupid and dangerous. They two of them are something of a couple most of the time, and she gets some sort of sick thrill in winding him up to do something crazy. That means he could do anything from beating up someone to robbing some poor bastard. I hate it when she's in one of those moods.
I sometimes wished Jonas and her would just go inside and fuck to get rid of all that anger and energy but they never do. If I'm being honest, I'm not even sure how often Jonas can get a hardon from all the drugs he does. The guys that tend to talk about getting laid the most normally rarely get laid.
"Gonna meet a guy in bout an hour to give him the hook up," Jonas says, telling us he needs to go play drug dealer. I see Phillip winch at this as he's been trying to get Jonas to stop selling. Jonas thinks selling the shit is a game while Phillip knows everyone else takes it very serious. That it could very well be the end of Jonas if he comes up short in what he owes.
"Ha! The hook up?" Mariah repeats, and makes a crude motion with her hand, implying a hand-job. Jonas in response raises his hand, showing he's about to slap her right across the face. His face is a mix of anger and rage at her daring to say something that damages his manhood. I would expect nothing less when he's in such a mood.
"I can get my purse myself, it's just in the car," I hear the woman that passed by with her man a few minutes ago say in the distance. Again, her words pierce through the night, allowing everyone to hear herd as it sounds like she and her man are arguing. It puts a pause onto the scene in front of me and saves Mariah from being smacked by Jonas.
"No, not with bad people near," the skinny man tells the woman in a very thick accent Norwegian or Swedish type accent. When I hear him say this, my stomach twists as this is surely going to be an invitation for Jonas. It's what he needs to attack.
"Well, just ignore them no matter what they say," the woman says, clearly not liking this situation. But she knows, like we all do, that to leave your purse in any car here is to have your car broken into. In fact, I'd be surprised if it is still there even after just a few minutes of being visible in the parking lot.
"I warned you, you lil shit," Jonas says when the couple reappear, his anger being redirected from Mariah to this couple. In a flash I see why Jonas hates this couple. He's pissed that this beautiful woman is sticking with such a skinny man, while all he can get is Mariah as she keeps losing what she has due to all the drugs. In short, he's jealous of things others have that he can't.
"Oh shit," Phillip grunts as Jonas storms down the stairs, heading right for the couple. I want to tell them to turn and run. To just run and get away. But of course I don't. I sit back and watch as the train will surely wreck as it always does with the knowledge that I'll just leave to my own apartment before the cops get here.
Jonas grabs his open car of beer that is on the ground next to him, shakes it with his thumb covering the hole, and then aims it right at the man's face, who gets a face full of beer. The couple stops at this, the skinny man using his hand to wipe his face as Mariah laughs that horrible laugh. I too laugh, but it's sort of like a reaction laugh, it's just automatic and doesn't really mean anything.
After the beer to the face, the man attempts to walk around Jonas, clearly not wanting a fight. I shake my head at this, as surely something like this means you have to stand and fight, but no. The guy attempts to walk away still even after being assaulted.
Jonas, as I knew he would, steps to the side to block him. They do this dance a couple more times until it's clear Jonas isn't letting the man go unharmed. That he wants a fight.
"Gonna do something? Huh you lil bitch?" Jonas asks and slaps the man. He slaps him hard too. Hard enough that the clap sound echoes all around.
