Turnons - a Game of Dares

Author’s note

Dear readers, I’m sorry for the long wait, but life has its way of interfering with a hobby like this, that requires time and dedication. I really appreciated all the feedback and emails you sent, even in the last few weeks, eager, as am I, to read more about Alex’s adventures.

I’m trying to find some more time to write. These last few days I’ve been lucky, I wrote this chapter and outlined another couple. I hope I’ll have the time to keep up.

In the meantime, to those of you who asked how I would feel about someone writing other stories in the Turnons universe, I can only say that I’m a reader first, and an amateur writer second, so I’d be delighted to read them. If those of you who’d like to contribute in this way are reading this, maybe drop me a line with your ideas: of course there’s nothing stopping you from writing your own stuff with or without my supervision, but I’d like to give my perspective, if you like.

Characters

Alex Marshall:

Alex is a PhD student at UCL who’s been just given her first chance at teaching thanks to a seminar named "The erotic impulse as a means of liberation in Nietszche, Freud and Marcuse". You’ve been reading a lot about her thoughts, fantasies, fears, so I just want to point out something you might have missed in the meantime.

Alex always had fantasies about reluctant exhibitionism, she found Turnons almost by chance and got quickly hooked up. Most of the erotic pics and videos she posted over time on Turnons are visible only on the app, and only by users following her, apart from one pic posted as public and also outside of Turnons.

To keep her account on Turnons active Alex has to comply with the required number of daily dares. Should her account get deactivated she would lose ownership and control over everything she ever posted on the app: all her content would become property of the company running Turnons, and could be used on the app, on Turnons website or anywhere else to promote it, as well as being shared by users outside of Turnons.

While she struggles with her own erotic urges, Alex has to deal with the constant fear of exposure and the risk of throwing away her academic career.

Laura Bennett:

Alex’s roommate and friend. She’s frisk and easygoing. Laura thinks these last few days of turmoil in Alex’s life are due to some new romantic interest, and she’s really positive and supportive about Alex’s new daring attitude.

Richard Croft:

Alex’s tutor and boss. He’s the one who vouched for her to get her the seminar and he’s in charge of Alex’s PhD thesis.

Annie Haller:

a senior lecturer from a different department. Alex admires her and it seems Annie’s got her back with Richard even if in a patronising way. She’s Richard’s (almost) unconfessed love interest.

Professor Graham Grant:

head of the department where Alex and Richard work and Susie’s uncle.

Susie Grant:

she’s one of the students attending Alex’s seminar and the niece of professor Grant. She asked Alex to review a paper she’s writing and she has met her on several other occasions.

Amy Clarke:

Susie’s friend. She’s met Alex one night when she reluctantly exposed herself in a revealing outfit, and then again while Alex was completing a dare at the H&M store where Amy works.

Oliver Brewster:

Alex’s ex-boyfriend.

Previously on Turnons

Alex had a really arousing but rough day so far. Following DarkPassenger’s dare she exposed herself like never before in an H&M store first, and during her training session at the park. She had to endure the humiliation of sneaking through the campus scantily dressed in her slutty workout outfit, but eventually somehow she managed to get through her seminar lecture.

Given everything going on with her life, Alex didn’t really need to make plans to see Susie the next day, but the girl seems to have a peculiar charm on her, one she’s not able to fight apparently.

Now, in the late afternoon Alex found some peace and time to try and find a solution to the Turnons conundrum, but she’s forgetting something, isn’t she?

Even if she wasn’t exactly in her right mind, she could remember the easiest of DarkPassenger’s task requirements: she had to stay off Turnons until midnight, or else she had to complete one of the back-up tasks.

Only now Alex understood she simply couldn’t win this time: the moment she failed to follow one of her active rules the app automatically increased the number of daily dares by one. And she knew it. She should have known that. It was on all her daily reports in clear letters.

What it meant now though was too overwhelming to handle. Her brain wasn’t helping her remembering the exact penalty she would have granted herself logging back in, but it was bad, she was sure of it. God why didn’t you take a screenshot of the instructions, you idiot? How could you believe you would’ve remembered it? ‘Cause you were juggling your professional life and this… this bullshit you’ve let yourself dive into! That’s why.

Alex almost smashed her phone on the desk when it buzzed for the hundredth time in the last 10 minutes. She let out a whimpered “fuck” and while a tear of frustration came down her face, she looked at the screen and clicked on the permanent notification to open the app and go back to her current dare.

New Dare from DarkPassenger

The task is simple really. It only requires some self control on your side.

To complete this task starting now until midnight you have to show me you have full control on yourself, on your sexual or erotic activity, physical or psychological. I know it’s something hard to prove but I’ll give you a few parameters to fulfil. Anytime you fail to fulfil one of those parameters there will be consequences. I will clearly state the consequences so that you’re fully aware of what your actions will lead you to. If I’m right about you… well let’s not spoil it, we’ll see if I’m right or wrong at the end of this task.

You will successfully complete this task in any case. All you have to do is fulfil 3 sets of parameters. If you fail to fulfil the first parameter of each set your goal will be to fulfil the second. You can’t choose the order, so the second option will only be available if you fail the first.

I think you will have a better understanding of who you are whether you manage to fulfil first options rather than seconds.

First set

1. The indicator on your arousal tracker must stay under 30% for the remainder of the day. If you fail to keep it that way you must keep it over 80% for the remainder of the day. Don’t worry, I’ll give you enough time to get there (ten minutes should suffice, right?) but once you’re up you cannot go down, understood?

2. Set the no orgasm rule as a permanent rule. Permanent rules can only be removed by rule givers. If you fail to fulfil a permanent rule your account gets deactivated, with all the consequences that come with it.

Second set

1. You decided to wear panties or something like that anyway. You must take them off the minute you accept the dare. I’m gonna set a flash proof on this one to be able to check your outfit at all times. Panties must stay off until the end of the dare.

2. Accept this rule: no panties allowed without permission. Anytime you want to wear panties you will politely ask me. Before doing so, in exchange for this chance you will increase the number of daily dares by one, whether permission is granted or not.

Third set

1. From the moment you accept this dare you won’t be opening Turnons until midnight. I’ll know that simply checking your last login time.

2. The minute you open Turnons next time, start a live streaming, set privacy as public. During the streaming you must ask users to send you dares that help you explore your submissive and exhibitionist side, do it in a sexy way, be convincing, play with your naked breasts as you do so. Tell them how you fantasise about being exposed, how bad you want new rules pushing you to wear slutty clothes, how you love being forced to complete dares all day long, how you would like to become just that a horny slut that spends the day following the whims of pervs going out of her way to show them she’s a good slutty girl. Failing this dare comes with no penalties but it could be a problem for you to get through the day without your account being deactivated. Mind though: the dare will consist in choosing one of two options, that’s it. Since I want to make sure you’re completely in charge of your destiny and your decisions I’ll let you know exactly the options you’ll be given:

Option 2: every time you fail a dare, in addition to completing the assigned penalty you must change the privacy settings of your last 2 updates on Turnons to public.

Her mind was numb, almost oblivious of the time running down. Two minutes is not a lot but it’s enough to understand when someone sees right through you. Sure, that’s not enough to rationalise it, dwell on it, question yourself on whether or not he’s right, on whether or not you’re the one controlling your course of action. Are you really guided by your rational mind, Alex, or is it something deeper, visceral and indomitable?

No, two minutes is not enough to think about that. It’s not enough to achieve that kind of understanding, and naturally not enough for bargaining, acceptance, rage or any other stage but resignation, submission.
