John sat across from Sam, doing his best to maintain eye contact with her. The buttons on her blouse, straining to keep it closed, only made it more difficult. But he knew she did that on purpose to mess with all her male co-workers. He was still on administrative leave, pending the outcome of the investigation of the shooting he was involved in. Amanda was in school with her third-grade class. She only had a couple weeks before they were on summer break. She and John had talked about going somewhere during the Summer. But until the investigation was over, he wasn't going anywhere.
"So you said you had someway to mess with the personal lives of the guys I told you about?" He laid several sheets of paper on the table in front of her. Printouts from various websites he'd checked out to get more up to date information on them.
Sam picked them up and looked at each of them before commenting. "You're certain these are the guys; a banker, two CPA's, a lawyer, an architect and two engineers?"
"Those are the ones my friend can definitely say, without a doubt, that they were part of it. We found them with the help of some old year books for the college she attended. She doesn't want to open this up as an investigation. Wants to put it behind her. I'm the one who would love to screw with them and make their lives a living hell if I could."
"From what I've learned over the years, your friend wasn't the only one they did this to. I'm sure there are several other women out there who they did the same thing to." She looked at all their bios again. "These guys are scattered all over the country now too. Just makes things a lot more difficult."
John leaned over the desk and pointed to the lawyer. "He was the ringleader of the group. Aaron Buckman. Just one more reason I hate lawyers."
Sam smiled at him. "Me too. Till we need one. Pricks till we need them. Then they're our prick." She looked at his picture from the yearbook, and then a recent one from his website. "I'll reach out to all the different locations these guys live in. Maybe they're on some other departments radar. I've thought about messing with guys like this on a personal level. Legally we probably can't do much. But it would be fun to just put the fear of exposure in them. Let them know they're being watched and we know what they did. Let their families and friends know what they did."
"And how would you get away with that, without being charged with harassment? Or worse, suited up ying yang?" John asked. "Don't get me wrong. I'd love to do something like that. I just wouldn't want it to backfire on me or Amanda."
"Yeah. Well. I haven't worked through all that yet. But I'm getting there. Let me touch base with my counterparts in these different cities and see if they've got anything on them."
"Thanks. Appreciate it." John said as he got up to leave.
"Tell Amanda I'll do what I can, and keep her out of it. I don't want to put her through anymore pain than she's already gone through."
John spun around. "How'd you know it was Amanda? I never mentioned her name."
Sam chuckled. "John! You can't be that stupid. The whole department is talking about your new lady. And now all of a sudden you want to go after some guys you've never met. I know how to add. 2+2=4."
"OK. I guess that is pretty obvious. Just keep it between us."
"Of course."
John turned as he got to the door. "You know. If we had hooked up, I would have made you reconsider your sexual preference." He said smiling. 'Two can play at this game.' He thought to himself.
Sam laughed. "Oh you think so?"
"I know so. I would have done things to you your lover has never done." 'One last dig.' He thought before walking out, listening to Sam laughing as he closed the door.
Aaron Buckman had built a successful law firm on the outskirts of Chicago. Being a criminal defense attorney meant he had to rub shoulders with some really sleazy people. But after getting a couple of major drug dealers off with technicalities and painting the cops as being incompetent fools, two things happened that would shape the direction his law firm went for the rest of his life. He became the lawyer of choice with every criminal in the Midwest, which in turn made him a very wealthy man. The second thing that happened was he became the most hated man among every law enforcement agency that came into contact with him. His success was such that he now employed almost two dozen people in his firm, with several junior attorneys and paralegals. At 49 he was one of the top attorneys in the Chicago area and looking to expand further. As far as he was concerned, crime did pay.
"Here are those files you asked for Mr. Buckman." Tina announced herself as she walked into his office, walked around his desk and laid the files on the desk next to him.
"It's about time." He grumbled at her as he wrapped his arm around her, cupping her ass with his hand. He slid his hand down the back of her thigh till he got to the hem of her skirt. He slipped his hand between her thighs, then slid it back up the inside of her thigh till he was touching her pussy. He looked over the first file as he fingered her pussy.
Tina jumped slightly when his hand began sliding up her thigh. But she had grown used to being used this way. He liked to keep her reminded that he owned her, and he could do whatever he wanted with her.
Tina Carlson was a 42 year old wife and mother of a twenty-one year old son. She was also Aaron Buckman's secretary. A position she had held for almost six years. While Tina had some excellent secretarial skills, it wasn't those skills that got her the position she held. The first time Aaron laid eyes on her, at her first interview, he knew he wanted her for himself. Tina was a beautiful woman with long dark brown hair. The fact she had streaks of silver starting to show only made her more beautiful. Her beautiful face sat on a body that just screamed to be fucked. Along with breasts that would make any porn star envious.
Buckman bided his time, like the predator he was, waiting for the right opportunity to pounce and claim her for himself. That time came after she had worked for him for almost three years. Her son was arrested as part of a major drug operation. Being eighteen, he was being charged and tried as an adult. Tina and her husband were completely blindsided by this. They both came to Aaron to ask him to represent their son, not knowing what the cost would be. After cleaning out their savings and retirement funds for just the retainer, they sold their house, handing over all of the equity to Aaron. But as most criminal trials go, it dragged on for months.
