Chapter 8 -- Can you say Butt Plugs?

I woke first the next morning. I looked at Susanne and Jennifer. "What in the fuck was that all about?"

Although Lisa took Julie and Jackie to bed, it was a bit early for me, so the three of us sat on the couch and watched some TV. I had them sit on either side of me. We didn't watch anything specifically but had it on more as background noise as I tried to get an idea of how they were coping so far.

Susanne said, "You know, I think I was in a state of terror from the time that we were arrested. However, I think that you were right to take us to that restaurant to give us the reality check of what was going to happen to us."

Jennifer spoke up, "All we knew was the stories, and after the process we went through in the slave induction center, I think we all imagined the worst. That we would be slave hookers or something. The four of us have talked and for the most part, we think you have at least been fair. "Thank you for your honesty. And tell Julie that she is not responsible for the actions of her sister. I don't want you to be snitches, but if the three of you find out that Jackie is going to do something stupid, please let me know. I will try and make it look like I found out on my own and not through you." I told them.

They looked a bit relieved. "Of course, if she does something and I find out that you were helping her or hiding something from me..."

Jennifer finished my line. "We will be punished."

"Yes." I thought a moment. "Was she the one that pushed the idea of the robbery attempt?"

Jennifer spoke, "Yes, it was her stupid idea. She kind of was our ringleader and we blindly followed her. All because of my tits."

David ran off to get the rest of the employees. Although most of the people working here were guys. I did have a few women working for me. They just happened to be in other areas of the building at the moment.

Everyone finally arrived. "Everyone, this is Jennifer and Julie." I heard a few 'Hi's from the team. Jennifer and Julie looked embarrassed. "You all know their circumstances. David spoke up "Treat customers and co-workers with respect because one day you might need a job and they might be the person interviewing you."

David has been putting together a list of things that they can help with. We will get them doing some of the boring things like inventory around here." I resumed "I also want them to do some meaningful things. Fred?" Fred stood. "Jennifer is taking accounting at college. Get her to help you with some finance work. Start her on some simple tasks and then see what she can do." Fred smiled. "It will be my pleasure."

"Sarah." Sarah waved from the back. "Julie is going to be taking engineering. Why don't you see if she can help doing some computer repairs? I think you are stripping down all those old computers that we replaced at McKinley Finance. Why don't you start her there as a start?"

Sarah said, "Sounds great. Looking forward to the help."

I looked around at my team. "Thanks, everyone." I turned to Jennifer and Julie. "Please go with Fred and Sarah. They will take good care of you." They looked tentative, so I gave them a reassuring smile, and off they went.

It was good to be back in my office. I spent the morning catching up with David. We went through all the new proposals and active projects. At least work has gone back to normal.

I had lunch with the girls. They seemed to be enthused with their new jobs. At the end of the day, I asked Jennifer and Julie to wait in my office. I asked Sarah and Fred how they did. They both said that they both looked promising. At least we have something for them to do before school starts back up.

We got home and started to make dinner. François and Annick were joining us for dinner tonight.
