Authors Note: When I became interested in GamblinLuck's Slave Camp universe, there were three storylines that popped into my head.
First: In the Slave Camp and the Quaranteam stories and others along the harm theme, many of them have a growing list of women added to the harem, and the character list continues to grow. With the Jim story, I wanted to have a smaller list of characters that didn't grow much. Now, mind you, the four slaves aren't one or two, but I wanted to see if I could tell a story where the list didn't grow.
Second: The Mail Order Sex Slave story written by kinkbugs where a guy buys a slave while drunk. It got a few ideas flowing, and they turned into my Slave Camp Drunk Slave Buyer stories.
Third: In the original Slave Camp story, there was a comment somewhere that I think mentioned something about rich people buying slaves. I haven't been able to find the exact line that spawned this idea. I originally wrote a story about a guy who inherits a fortune along with a bunch of slaves. I got fairly far in developing that story, but in the first two chapters, since the slaves were already there, I think I introduced about thirty characters. That became unwieldy and hard to follow. So, I rethought the premise and came up with the following.
Another big difference between this story and the Jim story is the BDSM content in the Jim story. In this story, it is almost nonexistent. Any BDSM in the story is driven by punishments or interest by the slave and not the owner.
All characters are 18 or older. All of my works on this site are copywritten by CurrentParameter and may only be used or reused with permission.

Chapter 1 -- The Auction
Finally, after four months of planning, Nolan's plans were finally coming to fruition.
Nolan was entering the Elysian Slave Auction on a fine September Saturday night. He was accompanied by Carmen, one of his best friends. When you paid the entrance fee, you were allowed a guest, and he selected Carmen.
Carmen was also his lawyer, but the real reason he brought her was that, of all of his friends, she was single and a lesbian. She might provide some fun commentary on the female slaves he was considering buying.
Elysian is a high-end auction house. They auction artwork, homes, collector cars, boats, and, of course, slaves. However, these aren't just any slaves. These are the cream of the crop.
They have a network of licensed slave agents that scour through both public and private slave sales to look for the best slaves. The slaves have to be special for them to have an interest in them. They have to be exceptional-looking or good-looking but with exceptional qualifications.
The slave agents send pictures and details of the slave to the auction house's 24-hour line. It then sends them disapproval or approval with a ceiling number that they can spend. The agents keep half the difference between the ceiling number and what they actually spent, as well as a percentage of what the slave sells for above the ceiling number at their auction.
Elysian Slave Auctions then gathered these slaves and put them up for auction once a month. This allowed them to attract buyers with deep pockets and get higher returns on the slaves.
Other than the celebrity and sports figure auctions they hold yearly in LA and New York, the other ten auctions rotate through locations throughout the country. This one is in New Orleans, two hours from Nolan's home.
One year ago, this would have been a pipe dream for a fairly average Nolan Thompson. A year ago, he was just a 5'9", skinny accountant trying to make ends meet. He dabbled in the markets, mostly in blue chip stocks with high dividends. His only high-risk investment was on lottery tickets, and that was only when Power Ball went over $200 million.
Well, his Power Ball numbers came in. There was another winner, but he was fine with half of the $400 million jackpot. After taxes, it netted him $69 million as a lump sum, but that was still much more money than he needed.
Of course, Nolan quit his job and rented an expensive new apartment downtown. The fun was just beginning.
=======
A week before the auction, Nolan went to the Elysian office for the auction slave catalog and to sign the slave purchase agreement. The catalog costs $10,000, and you must buy one to attend the auction. You are allowed to bring one guest. In his case, Carmen. Although there is a list of slaves provided online with basic background and clothed photos of each slave, the catalog gives you clothed and unclothed pictures of each slave and the full background of each slave. These include physical attributes, background, education, work history, and, of course, the crime they committed and their remaining sentence. It also includes sexual orientation, sexual interests, and a psyche profile. Good to know if you don't want to buy a psychopath.
Also, before the auction, you can deposit money against your slave purchases. At most auctions, you are required to pay cash or electronic payments, which have bank amount limits. However, as the dollar values at Elysian are higher than most, putting down a deposit allows you to take your purchases home once you have finished at the auction. Any unused funds are automatically refunded to your accounts the next day.
Most buyers go the deposit route as Elysian charges a $5000 per slave per day fee for any slaves not fully paid for at the auction.
Nolan's plan was to get six slaves, covering what he thought were six roles that would be important for his new lifestyle. He was hoping to fill all six positions at the auction. He found twelve slaves in the catalog that could potentially fill those roles. For most of the roles, he had multiple options. After consulting with a Slave Agent on expected costs for the slaves he was interested in, he placed a four-million-dollar deposit.
He and Carmen were early, so after a visit to the bar, they found a seat to settle in for the evening. There were two roles that he thought only had one slave that fit the role properly. Unfortunately, of the 62 slaves up for auction, those two roles were the first and the third last slaves, so they were in for a long night.
Carmen asked, "So, ready for the next big change in your life?"
Nolan responded, "We will see. Hopefully, none of them get too much attention and cost too much more than expected." He looked at Carmen and saw that look on her face. "And yes, you will be able to borrow them at some point, but you'll have to be patient. I need to break them in first."
Carmen and Nolan met in college. If you thought some guys were bad, Carmen was the biggest pussy hound Nolan had ever met. In college, if she thought that a girl was even remotely interested in women, she usually got them between her sheets.
Carmen grinned back at Nolan. She had constantly been at him about getting a turn at his slaves since he started looking at slave ownership. Nolan knew that most of this was just friendly pestering. Something that he and his best friends excelled at, particularly at their regular poker nights. Eventually, Carmen might buy one or two slaves herself. She did have the money, but she liked playing the game of chasing down that next conquest too much at this point in her life.
The auction was organized with the slaves expected to go for the most at the end. For the most part, this meant that the best-looking slaves were at the end of the night. Although all the slaves were very good-looking, when you got to the last half of the night, you were looking at model-level women. Although Nolan wasn't interested, he was curious how much the last slave would go for. She wasn't the best-looking for the night but had an attribute that created much more interest.
