Week 2 Monday
On Monday Steve was back to school, classes start at 8.30 and here he was at 8 in the morning. He was standing at the gate and was waiting for the students to arrive. He just wanted to see what happens this early in the morning. He was also aware what the rules of the campus covered and hence he wanted to see what happens before class. The teachers that were arriving were wondering why Steve was so early to the school and waiting at the gate before everyone had come. Some came to chat with him and see why he was so early. His only reply was that he is new in this school hence he was a bit nervous and came early.
Just before the bell rang, he was at his class for his mathematics lesson. He waited until the last student arrived and checked the time. His plan was to control the indiscipline in the class and make it a conductive learning environment.
Steve started the lesson by explaining that only one student will ever be punished in any given class he carries out as he does not like to waste the time and energy to punish all undisciplined students for their misdemeanours. The punishment can be for scoring low, tardiness, not finishing the work given on time or any other disciplinary items. Today's punishment will be for tardiness.
He started by calling out the names for all the students that were late to class. In a class of 21 students 14 of them were late to class. As he was deciding whom to punish, he called Emily to the front of the class.
Emily went to the front of the class with a skip on her step. She was under the belief that all the punishment that is ever carried out at MillyHigh is that she will be scolded and then told to sit back. This had been going on as punishments in the school for a long time. She was in for a surprise.
"Miss Emily, can you please inform the rest of the students what time the bell to start the class rings."
"8:35 sir"
"That's very good. now tell us whether you were in class by the time you specified."
"No, I was late." And she giggled thinking this is fun to play with the teacher and lose the time to study.
Steve asked Emily how many minutes she was late, and the punishment would be decided by what answer she gave.
Now she started wondering what the maths teacher meant by the punishment will be decided. She was always under the impression that this interrogation was the punishment.
"I am waiting for your answer"
"I was about 5 minutes late, but I did not check the time."
Steve asked the class as this is a maths class, did she give a definitive answer. He got a chorus of answers. All he was planning was to humiliate Emily.
Steve started to explain to Emily how the punishment would go.
She was given 2 options; the first option will be humiliating but simpler. The second option will be physically straining but no humiliation if she can complete the task otherwise the punishment reverts to the first option.
The first option was that she would be spanked with a ruler for the exact minutes she was late and places the large wooden meter ruler on the table.
Emily started shaking her head instantly and said that she was not going to be spanked in class. When she looked at Steve, she saw a smile on his face and started getting nervous about what the other punishment would be.
Steve started to explain the second option. This would be physically straining but she would be able to avoid the spanking if she can complete the task.
The task was simple. Emily was to lie on the ground and lift herself as a plank where her toes and hand would touch the ground, but her body had to be straight for the number of minutes she was late but there is a catch to this punishment. If by any chance she was not able to complete the punishment, she would have to take double to amount of spanking with the ruler for the number of minutes balance.
"Emily, you were 7 minutes late so please tell me would you take 7 spanks or 7 minutes on the floor"
Emily thought 7 minutes is a very short time so why should she humiliate herself, she decided to take the floor.
Emily was asked to lift her body to the correct angle and Steve started the stopwatch and placed it in front of Emily so she could see the seconds ticking away. To make it harder for Emily, Steve made 2 paper cones and placed them under her chest and stomach just short of touching her body. He explained that if the cones were to collapse, he would know that she released the strain from her body and would have failed the punishment.
Steve took a marble from his drawer and placed it on the lower back of her body and balanced it there. He explained that for any reason she wanted to release strain on her body, she would have to raise her butt up and that would make the marble drop and she would have failed.
The whole class was silent so Steve started explaining how he would be conducting the class during the semester.
After 5 minutes, Emily tried to release the strain on her back by lifting herself and the marble fell on the ground.
Emily, you have endured for only 5 minutes so you will take 4 spanks with the ruler.
She was forced to bend over the teacher's desk and informed that for every hit, she was to count loudly and say the words "I will not be tardy in class and thank you for spanking my naughty bottoms"
