Three Years Ago
Scott paced nervously by the locker row. The 15 year old boy was trembling all over. His entire body shook. He was about to do the most reckless thing in his life, and depending on how it goes, it might be the best day in his life or the very worst.
He waited until his friend Gabby arrived.
Gabby was slightly shorter than him and pudgy. She was quite overweight. Yet he still found himself very attracted to her.
"Hi!" she chirped cheerfully. The two of them have been the best of friends since they were ten.
"Oh, um, hi."
"Is something wrong?" she asked. He shook his head, but she still looked at him with concern. It was clear that something was going on. Something was bothering her best friend, making him very nervous.
"No, it's nothing." He paused before summoning all his courage. "Actually, there is something. Something I have been meaning to tell you."
"What is it?"
Scott took a deep breath. "I'm in love with you," he told her. Her eyes grew wide.
"Are you serious?"
"Of course I am serious!" he blurted out indignantly. "Do you think I would ever joke about something like this, Gabby?"
"Of course not! But why? Why do you love someone like me?" She gazed at him, meeting his eyes with her curious ones as she wondered why he would possibly love her. She was fat and ugly and no one has ever had so much as a crush on her before.
Scott sighed. "Because you are kind, brave and strong. Back when you used to stutter and people used to bully you for it, you didn't let it break you. You kept on working hard to improve yourself. You showed up at school everyday and faced your tormentors. And in the end, you won. You overcame your stutter because you are strong and believe in yourself."
Gabby was deeply touched by his words, and he wasn't even finished yet.
"You also found time to be there for me, despite having to deal with all that crap. You were there for me when people made fun of my braces, and taught me to believe in myself and be happy in spite of it all. You stood by my side when I needed someone and I love you all the more for it. I love you, Gabby."
"I'm so touched, Scott," she whispered. "But I'm sorry. We can't be together. I don't see you that way."
Scott's heart deflated, but he kept a smile on his face anyway. He told her "I understand."
"You're not mad at me?"
"Of course not. It's your right to choose who you want to be with."
Gabby smiled at her friend gratefully. "We can still be friends right."
"Of course."
And the two of them remained good friends over the next several years. Gabby was glad Scott never tried to push or pressure her into a relationship and respected her decision.
Things didn't really remain the same though. They were still friends but Gabby changed.
It was gradual. She started working out and playing baseball. The girl slowly but surely lost her extra pounds and became a fit, muscular athlete. She also had a glow up after she started taking better care of her hygiene and let her hair grow long.
In short, Gabby went from ugly duckling to one of the most beautiful girls in the school.
Many boys started wanting her, but Scott was the only one who saw her innate beauty, the strength and kindness that were there from the start.
Alas, him being the first to notice that she was special didn't help him much.
She started hanging out with the popular crowd after becoming one of them and soon began dating Tyler, a member of the football team.
Scott, meanwhile, remained a miserable nerd.
"You should try asking her out again," his mom suggested.
"Mom, she already said no once and no means no."
"That was ages ago, my boy. People can change their minds."
"She is dating Tyler right now."
"You are much better for her than some dumb jock."
"Just because someone is a jock doesn't mean he is dumb," replied Scott. He flipped a page and continued reading his novel. His mom sighed. She knew how much he loved Gabby.
He got up from the old chair and left the sitting room, heading to his own room.
There, he sat on his bed and looked out his small window, gazing at the trees lining the street outside. He smiled softly.
It hurt being friends with Gabby, knowing he wanted more and she wanted someone else, someone who was already by her side.
God, it really sucked.
But he would be okay. He might not be as strong as she was but he'd always persevere. It was and will always be in his nature.
Scott picked up a picture of his late dad with a rueful smile on his young face.
Losing his father when he was a kid was difficult yet he still managed to carry on and be there for his mom, supporting her and letting her know she wasn't alone in this world.
And Gabby was there for him.
Just thinking of her hurt so he tried not to do it. He thought of other people, other things. Distraction.
Eventually, it started working.
He was still madly in love with the girl but she didn't occupy his mind all the time anymore.
Some days, he even thought he might be able to fall for another girl. But it would take time. A lot of damn time.
He still believed he could do it though. If there is one thing being friends with Gabby taught him, it's that you have to keep believing in yourself, no matter what. It will get you there. It will.
........
Present Time
The alarm clock blared. Gabby moaned. She shifted about, sitting up in her bed and rubbing her weary eyes. The teen was frustrated. She was in the middle of a very good dream, one which involved Tyler.
She smiled at the thought of her hunk of a boyfriend. He was a complete stud : tall, muscular and almost painfully handsome, with blindingly white teeth that he enjoyed flashing every time he smiled. That damn crooked grin of his never failed to get her wet. Just picturing his chiseled face and sculpted body was already turning her on and she touched herself between the legs, giving herself a quick orgasm.
Then she left her bed and took off her top and panties.
Gabby admired herself in the mirror. She worked very hard to earn her figure. Her broad shoulders, powerful arms and toned abs. Not to mention her muscular thighs and thick ass.
Countless hours of weightlifting and other exercises, along with baseball training, and she was one of the hottest girls in school.
She took a quick shower and got dressed, selecting her favourite clothes. The girl had many brand name items of clothing to choose from. Her wealthy parents, both reputable lawyers, bought her everything she could ever ask for.
Once she was fully attired, Gabby walked downstairs to have breakfast with her mom and dad.
"I'm coming home late today," the girl informed them. "Baseball practice."
Her father did not look up from his morning newspaper. Her mother sipped coffee. Gabby sighed. They never took that much interest in her.
Her chauffeur drove her to school.
As she strolled down the corridors, many boys stared at her with lust. Envious girls also stared, wishing they had a figure like hers. Muscular yet still feminine and alluring, enticing boys to admire her and worship the ground she walked on.
Only one boy did not act like an idiot around her.
She soon found Scott putting some books in his locker.
"Hi, Scott"
Scott turned around and smiled. He greeted his best friend.
"Nice shirt," she remarked, pointing at the comics T-shirt he was wearing. She always made fun of him for his sense of fashion or lack thereof.
"At least I'm not dressed as a sunflower," he retorted, observing her outlandishly yellow clothes. He was the only boy who talked to her that way instead of just endlessly flattering her appearance in the hopes of getting into her pants.
"TouchΓ©."
As they headed to homeroom, she asked Scott "So are you going to the game this afternoon."
"Of course I am."
"Great!"
She adjusted her skirt. He glanced down briefly and cursed himself, finding his eyes drawn to her muscular thighs. She was very well-built and powerful. And looking at her muscles did nothing but arouse him.
He quickly looked away.
"Is something wrong?"
"Nothing."
"You sure?"
"Yes, I am sure"
"Good. By the way, I wanted to ask if I could hang out at your place tomorrow evening."
"Yeah, you could. I'll cook dinner."
"Nah, I'll just buy something to eat before going over. You don't cook very well."
"At least I know how to cook," he replied. There it was again. He loved her but wouldn't just take anything she said without any fight.
The two bickered until Tyler arrived.
Scott felt his heart drop. He was having fun hanging out with his friend who he was in love with, and then her boyfriend turned up, a reminder that she loved another.
"Hi, baby." Tyler pressed his lips to Gabby's, reaching down to squeeze her ass.
"Tyler!" she cried, smacking the pervert half-heartedly. He flashed her a devilish grin and she melted. He was so fucking handsome. "Not in front of other people."
"So I could grope you in private?"
