"Rachel, we've got company!" Scott called out as he rapped on the door and pushed it open.
"Oh! Give me a second!" Rachel squeaked from the hallway before scurrying to the bedroom.
"I told you she'd have to put on clothes," Scott said with a smirk as he led his best friend Wes, his wife Susan and their friend Greg into the apartment.
"I don't hear you complaining about your girlfriend running around in panties and a t shirt in the private!" Susan snapped, "You'd probably complain if she didn't!"
"Never said I had a problem with it," Scott replied with a grin, "I just said she'd probably have to put something decent when we came over and surprised her.
"Come on in!"
Susan shook her head in mock disgust, her long brown hair flowing down over her shoulders at the sudden movement but followed her husband Wes in.
"Damn, nice place, Scotty," Wes said in a deep baritone, "I was expecting the week old pizza boxes and empty beer bottles decor."
"How long have you lived here?" Greg asked as he followed Susan in.
"Almost six months," Scott replied with a nervous glance towards the hallway and the closed bedroom door.
"Nice, was it ha..." Greg began only to be interrupted by Susan.
"You're sure about this?" Susan cut in, all joking aside, "Absolutely sure?
"And I mean not only you but Rachel too?"
"Yea," Scott said hastily, "It's just like we talked ab..."
Scott broke off suddenly as the bedroom door opened and Rachel came hurrying down the hall.
"Why didn't you call and let me know we were having company?" Rachel demanded as the bedroom door opened and she hurried down to meet everyone.
Scott shrugged apologetically and tried to inconspicuously check out what his girlfriend... well, fiancΓ© now that they had officially set a date, what his fiancΓ© had hastily thrown on. Rachel glared at Scott for a moment with her right hand on her hip, her iridescent green Nike athletic shorts and off white tank top perfect for what Scott had in mind.
"This is Wes, my best from since Elementary School that I've told you about and his wife Susan," Scott said by way of apology, "And their friend Greg.
"They just got in from Boise and gave me a call."
"Don't try blaming you not calling on us!" Susan said and then smiled and walked over to give Rachel a hug, "I'm sorry we surprised you, but once Wes and Scott started talking they pretty much forgot about everything else."
"Yea," Rachel said with her own grin, "I've noticed that with Scott from time to time."
"You don't mind do you?" Wes asked as he reached out to take Rachel's hands and hold them in his own for a moment.
"Oh, god no, I've heard so much about you two growing up I feel like I already know you!" Rachel replied.
"It's all a damn lie," Wes hastily added, "The real culprit had red hair!"
Wes reached up to rub the large bald spot on top of his head with just a few remaining lonely strands of his once bright red hair still remaining as everyone laughed.
"I hope not," Rachel giggled, "I mean... did you really catch a bunch of baby snakes in a coke can and let them all loose in K-Mart?"
"Oh, my fucking god," Wes said while shaking his head slowly with his eyes closed, "Those garter snakes..."
"And you letting some of them out in the women's bathroom..." Scott added.
Greg burst out laughing while Susan glared at the two men.
"That's one I haven't heard before!" Susan said while still glaring between the two of them, "You know I HATE snakes!"
"Which is why you haven't heard it before," Wes replied before turning to Greg, "And this is Greg, another nerd who likes old school tabletop RPG's and Heinlein way too much for his own good."
"Hey!" Greg said as he reached out to shake Susan's hand.
"Ohhh, cool!" Rachel said with a smile, "I hope you guys can spend the night or maybe a day or two, we could get a campaign going and..."
"Rachel," Scott interrupted, his heart pounding in his chest and his voice breaking up now that the moment of truth had arrived.
"What?" Rachel asked with a perplexed look when she saw the odd nervous and excited look on Scott's face.
"Pineapple!" Scott said forcefully.
Rachel's expression quickly changed from perplexed confusion to wide eyed shock and then Wes and Greg stepped forward and seized her by her upper arms before Scott bent over to grab her ankles and the three of them easily lifted her off the ground.
"Scott!" Rachel shouted in shock, "What the fuck!"
Rachel began to struggle and twist while she was quickly carried over to the sectional while Susan following digging through her purse and taking out several lengths of gold jute rope as the men fought with Rachel.
"What the fuck are you doing, Scott!" Rachel nearly screamed.
Scott looked up into Rachel's angry eyes with a pang of doubt, stared into Rachel's eyes as she was tossed down onto the couch, nodded to Susan who looked at him hesitantly, and waited to hear Rachel speak one simple single word.
"Strip her," Scott said so that Susan reached up to the waistband of Rachel's shorts to pull both her Nike shorts and her panties off in a single motion.
"Scott!" Rachel shouted angrily and thrashed about on the couch, "What the fuck are you doing!"
Scott had to let go of one of Rachel's ankles to get her shorts and panties off and received a solid kick to his stomach while struggling to slip the clothes over Rachel's flailing foot. Susan managed to snare Rachel's foot and after only another moment Scott tossed Rachel's clothes to the floor.
