I sat next to Charles while watching TV, both of us drinking a beer while waiting for his girl to call. My eyes narrowed and a sigh slipped out of my mouth while Charles hesitantly took another sip of the beer he was holding while trying hard not to make a face. He wasn't ever really a drinker. He just did it because he thought I gave two shits if he does or not.
I didn't give two shits about him or that can of beer in his delicate little hand. Charles was a blonde-headed man with light skin. He looked like he had never seen the light of day. He had the bluest eyes that held the warmth of happiness and everything good in this world.
I thought it was a bunch of bullshit. I was the polar opposite of the twig by me. He looked like he was created by God himself to be a freaking angel. I had dark brown hair placed in a messy hot mess around the top of my head. A light stubble covering my jaw and built like a goddamn soldier. My eyes were dark chestnut and stuck in a judgmental look, also known as a resting bitch face.
I didn't care about Charles at all... but I did care for his lovely girlfriend, Julie. My heart sped up every time I saw her or thought about her. She had raven black hair that seemed so soft. I always had the urge to reach out and grab it. She had milky white skin that I wanted my tan hands covering while I ravished her body. A small body size that I towered over. She was everything that I could ever want.
And yet I didn't have her.
"Jax, you seem kind of distracted," Charles said while setting down the can. His bright blue eyes landed on my dark brown ones. I shrugged and he was about to try again when his phone started to ring. The sound was heaven to both our ears. Both our eyes lit up and he reached out to grab his phone. He answered the phone in a heartbeat.
"Hello?" He said and I could faintly hear her soft voice from the other end of the phone.
"Yes, I'll come and get you right now-" He let out an ear-splitting scream as he stood up to fast and a snap was heard in his leg. I winced and got up and helped him back down onto the couch. I grabbed the phone from his hand.
"Hello! Charles, answer me! You're scaring me." She said in distress. Charles threw his head back on the pillow before falling unconscious on the pillow under his head.
"Julie? This is Jax." I stated as I grabbed a blanket to put over Charles's sleeping form. It went quiet on her side for a second before she cleared her throat.
"Hi-i Jax, is Charles alright?" She asked in worry. I let out a dark chuckle before answering.
"Yeah, he just stubbed his toe." I lied as I walked away from Charles and grabbed my car keys from the table next to the front door. "He's not feeling too good so I'm gonna pick you up instead."
"Oh- uh okay." She stuttered out and then said a short goodbye before hanging up. An ear-splitting smile formed on my face as I walked down the steps of the apartment to my car sitting in the parking lot.
As I drove towards Julie I felt desire spill into my body from the excitement of getting alone time with Julie in such a small space. I let out a chuckle at thinking of all the possibilities.
I stopped in front of the preschool where she works and saw her hugging a small child goodbye. I honked at her and she jumped in fright. She looked up to see my car before giving me a big smile and headed over to my car.
Her scent makes its way into my senses as I watch her settle herself into the passenger seat. Her hair looked even softer today and even more irresistible. Her delicate cheeks had a light pink blush on them that made my breath move faster. Her petite body looked even smaller sitting next to my frame and I couldn't help but like it.
"Hi Jax, thank you for picking me up." She said softly while she buckled up. I pulled the gear into drive and put my foot on the peddle. We jolted and then we were off.
"Anytime beautiful," I said casually as I kept my eyes focused on the road. I could see from the side of my vision that her cheeks were even redder now. I couldn't help the triumph I felt when I made her blush.
Conversation flowed between us before silence ate at the air in the car. Soon I looked over to see that she had fallen asleep. Her head rested lightly against the window. I decided I would head to my house instead.
