The Island of Dr. Trusk - Part 3
*****************************************
This is a sequel to "The Island of Dr. Trusk." It will be impossible to understand this story if you don't read the first two parts, which describes the sinister Dr. Leon Trusk and his hapless victims, Eve and Phillip Davis.
As I've explained before, I had misgivings about posting a story featuring such an evil, predatory character. I only decided to create this sequel after receiving encouragement from you readers.
I hope you enjoy seeing what Trusk does next. In Part 2, the trillionaire sociopath informed Eve that he wants her to begin bearing his children. Although this sequel will wrap up here in Part 3, I've outlined a story arc that will require more chapters to conclude. The arc leads to a conclusion that I think will satisfy everybody - but only if you readers continue to find reasons to like a piece of fiction so wildly different from my previous stories.

The private jet departed from Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport, a general aviation facility owned by the city of San Diego. Dr. Leon Trusk maintained a hangar there for his corporate aircraft; it was more convenient than the city's big international airport. The artificial island he'd built in waters west of California wasn't large enough for a runway. Trusk's architects had designed an expansion that included a private airport, but it was a big job that would take years to complete.
Eve Davis gazed out the window as she gained altitude. It was the first time she'd flown in a private jet, and she was impressed with the level of luxury. For this flight, the aircraft held eight passengers. That included Eve, her boss and lover Trusk, a flight attendant, and five employees needed to complete the work Trusk hoped to accomplish in Japan.
Eve looked out the window and saw the coastline pass beneath them. The rest of the trip would consist of a long flight over the Pacific that led to their destination: Tokyo. Eve was expected to be the star of a presentation Trusk wanted to show to a group of local investors. He believed that when they learned she'd invented a drug that reversed the effects of aging, they'd do anything to support Trusk's campaign to expand into Asian markets.
"I've arranged for a tour guide to take us to some very nice places after we've finished conducting our business, dear," Trusk said. "I'm looking forward to spending quality time with the love of my life."
The love of his life. Trusk had used those words to fool many women into believing they were first in his heart. But Trusk had no heart. Eve was just one of many victims who fell for his lies. It thrilled her whenever Trusk claimed she was the only woman he'd ever loved. It thrilled Trusk to know he'd tricked a woman as brilliant as Eve.
The deception was intended to get her to do whatever he wanted. He'd used his most advanced therapies to enhance Eve's brain and body. Those improvements helped Eve perform at a higher level in the laboratory - and the bedroom. One of the reasons Trusk recruited Eve was that his headhunters identified her as a promising scientist who happened to be extraordinarily sexy. Trusk saw her as excellent breeding stock who could give him genetically superior children.
Eve looked forward to letting Trusk impregnate her.
"I want to spend a lot of time in the bedroom," Eve said, squeezing Trusk's muscular arm and putting her head on his shoulder. He patted her head and chuckled. "If things go well, you'll have a baby in your belly by the time we fly home, darling," he replied.
"That sounds wonderful," said Eve.
Becoming a mother had been her most important goal since before she met Trusk. She'd married her husband Phillip because she believed he'd make an excellent father. But then she'd been lured into the harem of sexy, accomplished women who'd agreed to have babies with Trusk, the world's richest man. Everyone knew Trusk was a genius, and Eve felt she'd won the genetic lottery when he "asked" her to bear his children.
Of course, much of her enthusiasm for this plan was based on the fact that Trusk had used drugs to make her feel an overpowering attraction to him. Trusk didn't care that her loyalty was chemically inducted. All he required was women who'd do whatever he wanted. He'd trained Eve meticulously, and now her devotion had no limits.
"I asked a seamstress to raise the hem of your skirt by a few inches," Trusk said.
"Why? What was wrong with it?" she asked. Eve was scheduled to do a presentation for Trusk's partners in Japan, and Trusk had hired a London-based designer to create an impressive suit for her. When Eve tried it on, she felt the suit was perfect in every way.
"The skirt is fine. The suit is fine. It's elegant. Professional. But you'll have more impact in a shorter skirt. Dear, you need to remember that the Japanese men in the audience aren't nearly as tall as you. I want you to intimidate them. When you're on stage, they are going to be overwhelmed with your beauty. A shorter skirt will emphasize how long and shapely your legs are - especially while you're wearing high heels. The fact that you are such a physically imposing specimen will work to your advantage. You're going to impress the hell out of them, baby."
"If you say so," Eve said.
"I know so," Trusk replied. "Besides, I have a personal reason for showing you off like this. Eve, I admit that this is vanity on my part, but I can never express how glad I am to have you in my life. While we're making the presentation in Japan, I intend to let everyone know that I am crazy about you. I want them all to know that our relationship is not just professional - that it is romantic. I am proud to have a woman as magnificent as you in my life.
"My male ego is fully aware of the fact that the men you encounter are going to be jealous of me. They are going to see how smart and sexy you are, and it is going to make every damn one of them wish they wore my shoes. I hope you don't mind, dear."
"I don't mind at all, Leon," Eve said. "I'm glad you feel that way." She had no way of knowing that the whole speech was sociopathic bullshit. It happened to be very effective bullshit, giving Eve one more reason to be loyal to her predatory boss.
As the flight continued, Trusk asked Eve thoughtful questions about her work, her life, and her devoted husband Phillip. He didn't care about what she had to say on any of those topics; it was difficult for him to act as though he was paying attention. Trusk knew that women loved it when men listened attentively to whatever they had to say, so he always spent a few minutes pretending to be interested in her words.
After he sensed he'd listened long enough, Trusk shifted to the topic he cared about.
"Darling, are you a member of the Mile High Club?" he asked.
"I don't know what that is," she replied.
