"Okay folks, let's all gather in the living room. Steve the hypnotist is going to do his act," said Jim above the voices of his guests.

Steve was standing in the middle of the room as he watched all the guests crowd in. Almost all of them had seen what he did to Mel at her party and they wanted to have the best view if she was going to strip again.

"Hi, I'm Steve and I'm a hypnotist-"

"I need one volunteer for this first part," he said while looking at Julie, the blonde he had noticed before.

"What's your name, pretty lady?" Steve asked as if he hadn't inquired earlier.

"Julie."

"Julie, we've never met before have we?"

"Yes, in a way, I did see you at Mel's party."

"Okay, I just want everyone to know we didn't set this up and this is the first time I'm going to hypnotize you, isn't it?"

"Yes, I think so," she said a little nervously, drawing some laughs from the guests.

Steve placed his hand on her shoulder. "Julie, look into my eyes and sleep," he said as he gave her shoulder a little jerk downwards and she instantly went under. "Just going deeper and deeper now. Any noise you hear will just take you deeper and more relaxed. It should feel good to do this."

Steve then turned to the crowd and asked "How many guys would love to walk up to a pretty woman like this and get

The men in the crowd all nodded, even the married ones while trying not to be seen by their wives.

He then gave her the following instructions: "Julie, when I bring you back on the count of 5 you will ask me for my cell phone so you can put your name and number in it."

"Sure," he said as he handed it to Julie.

He watched as the crowd was loving it, shaking their heads. He was sure he could charge these guys an arm and a leg to teach them hypnosis.

"Can Sue and Jim join me here center stage?" asked Steve. Sue and Jim joined him in the center of the room.

"Let's give our hosts a big hand for throwing a great party."

The clock was about to strike midnight. Everyone gathered to watch the ball drop and countdown the last few seconds until the New Year. Steve made eye contact with Sue, but he knew she would be occupied with giving her husband a kiss at midnight. He saw some other guys trying to get close to Julie. Steve was staring at Julie when he felt a tug on his arm.

"I'll be here," said Steve as he had no plans on leaving anyway.

Steve was watching the crowd filter out when Jim approached him.

"That was some show you put on. I have to admit I was embarrassed and excited at the same time," said Jim.

"Tonight," said Jim, his voice a mixture of nervousness and excitement.

"Yes, Jim."
