Nylonians (EMCSA 2021)
Part 2 (Ashley)
I woke Monday morning to the sound of my bedside radio turning on. Like every day, Brianna and Lilly from WKBS were doing the local weather and traffic reports. "The current temperature is 57 degrees. A mix of clouds and sun during the morning will give way to clear skies this afternoon. Today's high will be 78 degrees with 5 to 10 mile per hour winds from the south east. Now let's kick it over to Lilly for your morning traffic report."
"Thanks Bri," Lilly said as I sat up and stretched a bit. "A fender bender on I-80 has traffic backed up for miles."
"Great," I said walking to the bathroom, "guess I better head out early." The hot water felt good as it cascaded from my long, wavy black hair. I got a twinge of arousal as the soap soaked loofah moved over my D-cup breasts and erect nipples. The sensation induced thoughts of Julia's not so discreet looks on Friday. We came close to acting on our true feelings a few times during a 5 year partnership. Bad timing and external factors always seemed to get in the way. The thoughts of Julia conjured memories from a stakeout last year.
"Here you go," Julia said with her usual bright smile as she returned to the car and handed me a slice of pizza. "Has there been any movement?"
"Nothing," I replied before taking a bite."
"Are you sure about your contact's info?"
"He's never let me down before." In the process of another bite, sauce spilled onto my baby blue blouse. "Damnit, I just got this cleaned."
"I got you," my partner said as she wetted a wad of napkins with her water bottle and placed it on the sauce stain. During this act, Julia's hand moved atop my right breast. This caused a partially involuntary perking of the nipple. After a brief, uneasy pause, the blonde allowed the napkins to slip from her fingers and gently began to pinch and caress the excited tit. Our eyes locked as I let out a subtle moan. The moment ended when sudden noise from the apartment complex we were staking out re-directed our attention.
As the memory faded away, the loofah had dropped, leaving my hands and fingers active on my breasts and throbbing clit. "Yes! Yes!" I screamed out amid a satisfying climax. Breathing heavy, I took a few moments to compose myself before exiting the shower. "What a way to start the day."
Going through my baby blue dominated closet, I settled on a keyhole blouse in that color, professional black slacks and a white blazer. After some internal debate between them and flats, I slipped into a pair of black, closed toe heels. After quickly mixing my morning fruit smoothie, I poured it into a plastic travel cup and headed out.
"Here's a blast from the past for all my morning commuters," Brianna said through the car radio. A catchy dance tune from my high school days got my head bobbing despite the slow traffic on I-80.
"Good morning Director Diaz," WSA's receptionist said just outside our office building.
"Good morning Holly," how was your weekend?"
"Not great," she replied, "had a date walk out on me Saturday night."
"Really?"
"Yeah," Holly explained as we walked through the main lobby and entered the elevator. The recent college grad's shoulder length, dark auburn hair was worn down, framing her subdued but still beautiful makeup. Holly's white scalloped blouse was worn under a royal blue blazer. The youth's lower half sported an ankle length accordion skirt over a pair of professional heeled boots that rose just above the skirt's hem. Brief flashes of her smooth pale skin were exposed when she moved a certain way.
"We've been talking online for a while and decided to meet for dinner at The Golden Dragon. Things seemed to be going well, but after apps, he excused himself to the restroom and never came back."
"Wow," I exclaimed, "what a jack ass!"
"For sure," the distraught receptionist replied as we reached our floor. "I finally got an explanation last night." She pulled out her phone and held it for me to see.
"Bigger than expected," I read aloud in disgust, "don't let this asshole get you down.
"What If he's right?" I mean, I did gain some weight over the summer."
I placed a hand on Holly's shoulder. "Don't let others dictate what you should or shouldn't look like. All that matters is that you're healthy and happy."
This turned The Receptionist's frown into a slight smile. "Thanks Ashley, I mean, Director Diaz."
"It's ok," I said amid a light chuckle while slowly walking away, "You can call me Ashley when the top brass aren't around."
My office sat on the far end of the floor. On route there, I passed an open area filled with 3 semi-private cubicles. These work spaces belonged to our non-field team. Jasmine Tahan, a 28 year old transfer from Cairo handled the agency's normal bookkeeping, fiscal reports and the like. Her shoulder length, jet-black hair was usually fashioned in a braided bun. Our eldest member, 50 year old Kimberly Jansen, was still in great shape for her age. Her short, side swept black hair was peppered with distinguished streaks of grey. She and a recent alum from Holly's college, Ravi Sinha, spent their days weeding through potential cases and obvious hoaxes. His short, recently cut black hair matched well with a thin, well groomed beard.
"Do you have our latest spending numbers?"
"Emailed them to you this morning," Jasmine answered.
"Very good," I replied while moving towards Kimberly. "Julia and Josh are due back from Shadyville today. Do you have a fairly easy one for them?" The elder researcher flipped through a pile of files before handing me one. "new Jersey Devil sightings huh?"
"Hey," it's better than the nothing burger you just sent them on."
"True," good job." With that I took my leave, passing the small offices for field agents before entering my larger one. After reading the fiscal report, I received a call from Julia. "How did it go?"
"As expected," she answered, "a whole lot of nothing."
"I figured, how did Josh do?"
"I had him stick to his photography cover most of the time. But, he did pump some info from a local woman. Nothing groundbreaking, mostly facts about the area."
"That's still something," I replied," are you on your way back now?"
"Some construction delayed us getting here and will do so on the return trip. I'm guessing we'll roll in about 8 or 9."
"That's fine, report in the morning for a quick de-brief on Shadyville and a new assignment."
"Sound good Ash, see you then."
With both field teams out, the morning was quiet. I used the opportunity to catch up on some paperwork and look through new potential cases. "Are you going out or ordering in for lunch?" Holly asked me over the intercom.
"I'll go out. You and the others can have whatever you'd like delivered."
"Thanks," Holly replied.
The temp and skies were on point with Brianna's forecast. So, I took in the sunshine with a short walk to a small bistro a couple blocks from the office. Seated on the outdoor patio, I enjoyed a tasty grilled chicken salad for lunch. During the trip back, I stopped in front of a boutique to admire a black, spaghetti strapped cocktail dress. "What the hell," I said before going inside.
I was greeted by a finely dressed, middle aged man with short, wavy blond hair. The attire in combo with his British accent made me think of secret agent films. "Good afternoon, how may I help you?"
I pointed and replied, "does that dress come in other colors."
"We only carry black in store, "he answered, "but I can have any color you'd like shipped here within 24 hours."
"Great, I'd like one in baby blue."
Harold, per his nametag, moved to a counter and began typing on a laptop. After starting the order, he took my measurements, contact info and payment. Would you like anything else with your order Miss Diaz? Perhaps something from our extensive selection of quality hosiery."
"No thanks," I replied," never been a fan of them."
"Fair enough, I'll call you when the dress arrives. Have a wonderful day."
"You as well," I said upon exiting.
The second half of the day went by much like the first. "We'll be in around noon on Wednesday," one of my other agents informed me on the phone.
"Sounds good Sally," I replied, "see you then."
In the parking area, I encountered Holly, Jasmine and Ravi standing next to The Receptionist's car. "I don't want to be a third wheel," Holly said to the others.
"We just want you to have a good time after what that jack ass did," Jasmine replied."
"How bout you Director Diaz," Ravi added as I neared the group. "You up for some dinner and a show at Hana?"
"I do enjoy grilled shrimp being filliped into my mouth. But, I'll have to give you a raincheck this time."
"Have a good night," Holly said as I opened my car door.
I gave her a subtle wink before getting in, "you too."
Like every day, I stopped at the gym on my way home. While sweating like crazy on the treadmill, my mind once again drifted to Julia. "I need to stop daydreaming," I said to myself on the way home. "It's time to act."
Once more, I woke to Brianna and Lilly's morning reports. "A cold front that moved in overnight will keep temps in the low 40's today."
I adjusted my outfit accordingly, adding a baby blue cardigan in place of my usual business blazer. Upon arriving at work, I was greeting by a beaming Holly in the parking lot. Her mile wide smile and cheery demeanor was a stark contrast to the previous day. "Fun night with Jasmine and Ravi?"
The receptionist shook her head, "not quite, Hana was delicious and fun, but, the others were all over each other and as suspected, I became a third wheel. So, I politely excused myself after dinner and headed home."
"I suspect there is more to your story."
Holly nodded as we walked through the lobby. "Before going home, I stopped at my favorite bar to have a solo nightcap. To my surprise, Josh was there."
"As in our new agent Josh?"
