Stella Lin, tucks her overstuffed patchwork backpack under her shoulder. Her ratty green hair falls in front of her eyes as she walks up to a small apartment attached to the side of a bodega. "Come on, try to look good for this part." She grumbles as she pushes the chill of the air away, her hand carefully slicking her hair to the side before she knocks on the door.
There is a long slow minute, the chill working its way deep into Stella's body before the door opens. A brown haired man wearing square glasses stands behind the door, black t-shirt and pale skin covered with all kinds of strange green stains. "Oh hello there, I'm guessing you're here to apply for the room? Come in, I'm Erin." He says as he opens the door more, revealing his equally stained jeans and socks.
"It's nice to meet ya, yes I'm here for the room if you'll have me." Stella smiles softly at Erin, her eyes flicking over and past the green stains. Figuring it's probably just paint and the man just shares her appreciation for the color.
"Perfect, come on in." Erin says as he opens the door fully. As Stella makes her way into the room she is greeted with all kinds of different potted plants, covering almost every free inch of space on the shelves and windows. There is a strange scent in the air that Stella can't place as the pair sit down.
"Wow, I am very lucky that I don't have really bad allergies." Stella laughs lightly to herself as she looks over the living room, struggling to process exactly how many types of plants there are. She's led over to a clean coffee table, sliding over into the arm chair across from Erin.
Erin chuckles softly. "Well that's one thing off my list." He says as he sits down. "I only have about 2 other questions, one do you have pets? And two, do you care if I smoke weed in here?" Erin smiles wide, pointing to a small side table with a potted plant. Behind the plant is a bong and what is very clearly a jar filled with weed.
"I do not have a pet, though I used to have a cat. She passed a few years back before I moved out here, and for the weed I only care about being able to try some too." Stella grins, winking at Erin and leaning back in her seat. Relaxing significantly as Erin takes a more open posture with her.
"Well perfect, that's it then. If you want to move in then perfect." Erin claps his hands as he sits up. "We can certainly try some, but first would you like some tea?" He says before standing up, making his way into the kitchen and starting to boil some water. "I actually grow the weed myself, don't tell the police."
"I would never associate with cops, and I would greatly appreciate some tea. I actually walked all the way here, so I'm freezing." Stella smiles and drops her bag down next to her chair, finally fully relaxing and letting her head lean back slightly.
"Perfect." Erin smiles as he makes two cups of tea, returning to the living room and handing one to Stella. "Here you are. You know, I already have a bed in your new room if you'd like to stay over tonight. Tomorrow is supposed to be much warmer so we can get your stuff then."
"Yeah that sounds great, I didn't really have anywhere else to stay if this went wrong if I'm being honest." Stella chuckles lightly as she takes the tea cup, letting out a gentle breath to cool it before starting to take sip after sip.
The tea sends waves of relaxation and gentle heat throughout Stella's whole body, the taste sweet and slightly herbal. "Well I'm glad this worked out for you then. You wanna get high?" Erin asks as he grabs the bong, setting it up as he watches Stella drink the tea.
"Oh absolutely, and this tea is wonderful. Thank you so much." Stella takes a deep sip, making her way quickly through the rest of the drink and setting it on the coffee table. Tucking her legs up against her chest as she starts to curl up slightly into the curves of the chair.
Erin smiles as Stella finishes her drink, the heat in her chest only growing more present as it sits and bubbles. Erin finishes setting up the bong before holding it out to Stella. "Here, you first. I had a bowl before you got here."
Stella gently takes it, being careful not to drop it as she leans in. She takes a deep breath and lets the steaming smoke flood her lungs, mixing with the preexisting heat and sending it to higher heights before she pulls back and exhales sharply. She blows the smoke back out and into the air over her so it can fall back down.
The heat builds to the point of being impossible to ignore, her skin starting to itch and burn as her mind sinks into the chair. "How was that? I'm still refining this strain so I'd love your opinion." Erin says as he scootches closer to Stella, holding the bong closer to Stella for another hit.
