Far away from most of mankind in the middle of the ocean lay a green, fertile island. The island was almost entirely covered by an ancient wood, graying and intimidating, and deep within those aging, thick trees was a pristine and bountiful forest. The forest lay undetected for decades by very few others, save for the magical beings who inhabited it and the rare species they permitted to visit. Mossy beds, large, soft toadstools, and high trees with strong, thick leafy branches made this forest the ideal home of The Fairies
The Fairies were a wonder to behold; stunning, voluptuous beings with hair of gold, silver, and fiery red strands. Their bodies and beauty were the stuff of legend, and even though their had only been a handful of mortals to ever witness them in their home and find their way off the island, those few adventurers spread their tales far and wide.
The Fairies were happy and safe, protected by the seclusion and mystery of the forest, and as such many of their safeguards and protections from non-magical entrants had fallen by the wayside after years of going unused. Over decades, warnings from the elders with first hand experience of the outsiders who had attempt to breach their homes waned. Experience became history, history became legend, and eventually all Fairies came to believe that their home was simply impenetrable and free...how wrong they were.

Although the summer sun was high above the treetops and beaming down on the foliage, the towering trees' branches were so full and lush that the forest below was cool, the lighting soft. On any other day Fairies of all kinds could be found lounging in their mossy beds, dancing and playing their flutes and strings, enjoying moments of passion with each other or the occasional visiting Nymph. But right now the forest floor was bare, save for the signs of discarded clothing and heavy footprints.
Jessica had been bathing in a pond with her friends Megyn and Cheri when the sounds of shouting filled the clearing beyond their pond. Frightened by the sounds of their sisters shouts and confusion, they quickly grabbed their clothing and ran. Megyn became separated quickly, but Cheri and Jessica found a thicket to hide in.
They had chosen a poor spot, their gold and silver hair easily spotted within the deep green, and quickly the sounds of other Fairies and gruff men approached them. They held each other as they heard the sounds of struggling Fairies, as well as men laughing.
The branches on their thicket were torn back, and while both girls yelled, only Jessica moved quickly enough to escape. As she ran, Jessica felt a strange warmth spread across her back and heard a faint hum, but she was too afraid to look back. She had only enough time to hear Cheri's faint voice say a single word before she was able to cut around a grouping of berry bushes and escape.
"Pretty..."
Jessica looked back through the bushes and her eyes went wide as she saw Cheri, body slack and still, staring into a majestic, large golden orb. Jessica's jaw dropped at it's beauty and her body slowed. She would have been happy to stare endlessly into the wonderful light, had she not tripped up over the roots of a tall oak tree in her brief stupor. As she hit the ground she shook her head, regaining her senses, and then she ran as hard as she could away from the sounds of her captured sisters, theier protests growing ever weaker.

Jessica now hid in the trees, as did most of the Fairies in the forest... or at least the few that remained. The strange men had come only hours ago, yet the sounds of their forest had already changed from those of music and dance and laughter, to steady silence only interrupted by the faint gasps and yelps of captured Fairies, occasionally followed by moaning.
Jessica didn't know why the strange men were here, all she knew was that they came with their shining lights and were leaving with Fairies by the dozens. Jessica was able to spy a few groups as they were led out by bearded muscular men in animal hides and leather. Their hair was tousled with small twigs and leaves sticking out, and the few who still wore clothing had taters and tears in their thin fabrics. The most shocking thing to Jessica was that none of them were in chains, and a few of them, including Cheri, even had smiles on their faces.
She heard the sounds of a twig snapping and hugged the tree branch she was hanging on to even tighter. The snapping was followed by the sounds of heavy footsteps and that familiar, faint golden glow again. Jessica squeezed her eyes tight before it's power could take hold. The steps grew louder as they got closer to Jessica, and her voluptuous body began to quiver.
Suddenly Jessica heard the footsteps begin to run and she held her breath, assuming they were finally coming for her, but then she heard the sounds of bushes moving and a loud gasp from below her.
"Well, well, well, aren't you a beauty...although you all are beauties, or we wouldn't even be here," the deep voice said. "Come out of that bush and kneel before me, my dear."
The slow sounds of feet delicately brushing against grass filled Jessica's ears, but she was still too nervous to look.
"That's a good little Fairie, just keep looking into the light and doing as you're told," Jessica heard him say. "What's your name, sweetie?"
"Megyn..." a soft, pretty voice rang through the air.
"Oh, Meg..." Jessica said sadly, finally daring to peak out through the leaves.
She angled herself in the tree so that the branches blocked her view of the odd glowing light, though there was still a faint tint around the leaves and in her peripheral. She could just make out the two figures below her. The first was Megyn, her best friend. She was standing in her flowing green dress, her curvy body stretching the thin material and her bright red hair gently moving in the breeze. She didn't look scared, Jessica noticed, as she tried to make out her freckled face. If anything she looked perfectly at peace. Megyn was calm, with the hint of a smile, and her green eyes were heavy-lidded and still.
Before Megyn stood a very tall, tanned man with thick dark hair and a beard, a startling difference from the few fair-skinned, wispy-haired Cupids she had laid with before. Jessica would have found him quite attractive if it weren't for the predatory smile he was flashing at Megyn.
"What a find you are," he said, looking her up and down as he walked around her in a circle. "You will be an absolutely perfect addition to the Slaver's Block."
Jessica gasped. She had heard stories of the Slaver's from the Nymphs who traveled from forest to forest and the occasional Cupid who had time to chat in between making love and searching the forest for wood for their arrows.
Slavers specialized in enslaving and trading beautiful young women at markets and brothels, especially mystical beings like her when possible. Mortals hadn't been seen in the forest in decades, Jessica herself had assumed the old tales of their encroachment were stories to keep the young ones from leaving the edge of the wood, or fables repeated by the seductive Cupid's trying to weave impressive stories.
"Just keep looking, Megyn, let all those pointless little thoughts fade away. Let the forest fade away, let all your willpower drain. I can show you a better way to live, a more..." he slipped his hand under the front of of dress and she moaned, "pleasurable way. Doesn't that sound fun?"
"Sounds...fun," Megyn said, a smile coming to her face, though it never quite reached her glassy, vacant eyes.
"Good little Fairy to be so obedient," he said as his hand moved under her dress.
"I'm a good little Fairy," she giggled, her normally pale cheeks turning an ever-brighter shade of pink.
