During the family cookout, my personal assistant Marie calls me. We are busy with the chaos of making dinner for so many people, so I ignore the call. She immediately calls back. "Ugh." I moan as I answer it. "Hello."

"Hi Mary. I hate to bother you but there are a couple of things you need to be aware of." Says Marie.

"Hold on. I can't hear you too well." I say as I walk into my bedroom and close the slider. "Ok. That's better. What's up Marie?" I ask.

She goes on to tell me it's official. The studio has scheduled the start of the Superhero group movie, The Agency. Right after the shooting for the movie ends I will then shoot season two of the Centauri TV show that will deal with what happens to Centauri after the events in the movie. Training for the movie starts in two weeks.

"One last thing Julie from your foundation called. She would like you to call her when you get a moment. She didn't want to bother you while you were at the cabin." Says Marie.

I am excited to film the group movie and season two of the tv show. I am kind of looking forward to training. It's hard work, but it's fun too.

I walk outside as Jim was just about to open the slider. I reach out to him and hug him. "It's official I start training for The Agency in two weeks and season two starts filming right after that." I say.

Jim hugs me and kisses me. "That's great!" He says. "Let's go tell everyone."

I hold up my phone. "I need to make a call or two. Then we can celebrate." I say and I give him a quick kiss.

I get down to the dock, and I realize the chairs that are normally down here are up by the deck. I kick off my shoes and sit on the dock with my feet in the water. Zeena comes running to me and plops down beside me.

I call Julie. "Hey." She says. "I didn't mean to interrupt your R&R."

"It's ok. Marie called me with good news, and she told me, you wanted me to call." I say.

"Jan has called again." Says Julie.

I blank. Jan?

"Sarge's wife from The Alan Fudd Show. She gave you a contact for Barry to get some help." Says Ezzie sounding like Auntie correcting me as a little girl.

"Yeah. Yeah, I remember." I say, trying to fake it.

"No you didn't." Says Ezzie.

I give her a mental raspberry.

"What does Jan want?" I ask.

"I think she is looking to get you to participate and or sponsor the Best Buddy Challenge, it's a bike ride on Cape Cod." Says Julie.

"Hang on." I say, as I look it up. "Oh cool. It's a 100, 50 or 25 mile bike ride from Boston to Cape Cod to benefit Best Buddies. Let me give her a call." I say.

I know I have Jan's information on my phone. I look her up and call. "Well Hello." Says Jan, sounding happy to hear from me. "You are a hard person to reach."

"Sorry Jan, it's been a crazy few months for me. How is Sarge?" I ask, smiling as I remember him walking me through the crowd at the Live Alan Fudd Show. He looked impressive in his dress uniform.

"He is good. I was originally calling to see if you would like to participate in some way in the Best Buddies Challenge. I know it's short notice now, since it's next weekend so I am guessing that's out." She says.

"I don't think I could ride 100 miles on a bike." I say laughing as I look at the map as we talk. "I bet it's a beautiful ride though."

"Yes, some of the rest stops are in really pretty scenic areas. And of course the celebration at the end is always a lot of fun. We have teams from all over the country. We would always welcome a corporate sponsor." She says.

My mind starts spinning. This is for kids. Then I notice on the map there are 5 rest stops. "Jan, I may have an idea." I say. "Let me ask you something."

"Sure. Ask away." Says Jan.

"Do the rest stops have sponsors?" I ask.

"No they are just rest stops." She says.

I smile as I think of The Agency. There are four main superheroes and me. I could sponsor each stop with a different hero marking each one, but I need the studio ok for copyright stuff.

"Can you give me a few hours. I need to make a call or two." I say.

"I sure can." Jan says.

I call Marie back and explain to her my idea for the rest stops. I will front the money. I want permission to use The Agency Movie logo and a superhero for each stop. I impress upon her I really want to do this and I need the ok from the studio ASAP.

I can hear Jim's footsteps on the dock. I turn and smile at him. "Are you done?" He asks.

"For now." I say with a smile. "Come on, let's go tell everyone."

Everyone is eating so Jim & I make a plate and sit down, and I start telling everyone about the movie & tv show. Everyone is very excited. I then look at Jim, and smile. "And next weekend Jim and I are going to Massachusetts for the Best Buddies Challenge."

"What? We are." Says Jim.

"That's what one of the calls I was on was. Remember I told you about Sarge at the Alan Fudd Show. His wife Jan gave me the contact for Barry. She has been calling for a while now, but between filming and everything else I just got back to her. I am hoping to have the Foundation sponsor the rest stops. I am waiting for a call back from the studio." I say.

I look up and Nana is smiling at me. It's a bit of a sad smile. "What?" I ask. "Did I do something wrong?" I am nervous Nana is going to be upset again that I am wasting money, but Nana doesn't answer.

Ezzie speaks up. "She isn't upset. Just now listening to you, it reminded her of the way your Mom would get excited about things. She isn't worried about the money. She knows you have become more than successful."

I get up and walk over to Nana and hug her. She wraps her arms around me and whispers. "Your Mom would be very proud."

"Thank you, Nana." I say to her softly, and stand back up.

That sort of quiets things down from there. A little while later Marie calls. The studio will ok the movie name & logo, but not the actor's likeness. They will allow the hero's comic book image to be used though.

I call Jan and ask. "Could I sponsor all the rest stops for one million?"

Jan doesn't hesitate. "Of course!" She says excitedly.

"I have one condition." I say. "I want to be part of the festivities. I would like to come down with my husband Jim."

"You will never get a room at this point. I will make sure we save a VIP trailer for you and Jim." Says Jan.

"Deal." I say. I continue to explain to her I want each stop to be a different superhero from The Agency and Centauri. She promises to get the artwork done up ASAP and sent to me to approve.

The next morning as we are having coffee I get an email from Jan with images of banners and signs for the rest stops. They are all labeled Rest Stop 1-5. Nicole/Proxima is #4 with me or Centauri as #5, with a note. "You are last because every rider regardless of whether they are doing 100, 50 or 25 miles will stop at #5 and the road race we run starts from #5. Everyone will see my favorite hero."

Jim and I decide to stay at the cabin for the week, instead of flying to LA and 5 days later flying to Boston. We enjoy a very relaxing quiet few days after everyone goes home. I reach out to Marie so she can book our flight. She suggests a regional airport on Cape Cod to avoid the Boston airport and traffic. There are a few regional airports here in Kansas and she books me a flight on the closest one.

I send Jan my flight information as she requested and she promises me someone will be there to pick us up. We land and sure enough someone is there to pick us up. He takes our bags and tells us he will take us to the compound. I roll down the window in the back and instantly smell the salt air. I have loved that smell since the first time I went to the beach in LA.

We get waived through a gate to the compound. It's a huge estate. There is a mansion way back on the property, and the entire front of the property is set up for a party. There are multiple large tents setup for tables, a dance floor with a stage and a bar on the far end. They must be expecting hundreds of people based on the setup. The driver drops us off at the far side of the property away from the tents where there are at least two dozen trailers setup. It reminds me of the Proxima movie. They had a bunch of trailers set up for the stars and crew.

A girl comes up to us with a clipboard with her hand extended to shake hands. "Mary. Jim. We are so happy you could come join us. Oh and who is this?" She asks as Zeena hops out of the car.

"This is Zeena." I say.

"Well hello, Zeena." She says as she scratches her head.

"I am Stella." She says looking up at us. "Can I show you to your trailer and then maybe around the property?" She says pointing to a golf cart.

"Sure." I say.

We get in and Jim sits on the back seat. "Zeena can sit at your feet." She says to me.

I smile at her. "No, she has been cooped up on the plane. She needs to stretch her legs. She will follow us."

"Are you sure?" She asks.

Jim laughs. "She could probably out run this thing."

"Ok." She says and pulls away. I look back and see Zeena look up from sniffing at the sound, and chase after us. In no time she is running beside us, and Stella is surprised. "Oh my god. Look at her go."

She pulls up to our trailer, which is obviously ours. It has a duplicate banner for my rest stop, only there is a picture of me smiling instead of Centauri. Stella looks at me apologetically. "Jan insisted we put that on your trailer." She says.

"I like it." Says Jim. From there the tour goes on foot. Every rider will have a GPS tag, and can be tracked. She explains as she shows us a trailer set up with a bunch of monitors. She points up to the mansion and tells us the family had a mentally challenged child and has donated the estate to be used for the Challenge since its first year.

She points to the tents where they are setting up a big BBQ. "All weekend it's BBQ, except for breakfast. Feel free to grab whatever you want whenever you want it."

I suddenly realize there is a small crowd of challenged individuals standing back but very interested in Zeena. I smile at them. "Would you like to say hello?" I ask.

Some say. "Yes." Some just nod.

"Ezzie, please have Zeena be extra gentle." I say.

"She will be, Mary. She can sense they are different." Says Ezzie.

I scratch Zeena's head. "Easy Girl. Free." And I watch her trot over to them. Within seconds they surround her and they are all petting her. Zeena turns from one to another sniffing and gently licking them. They all love it.

Stella speaks up. "She is amazing. Who trained her?" She asks.

"I did. My Dad taught me with my first Shepherd, and I trained Zeena." I say as I think in my head. "With a little help."

"A Little? HHMMPPHHH!" Says Ezzie laughing.

"I Love You, Ezzie." I say laughing, as I watch Zeena being so gentle with everyone petting her.

Stella points us to a table to sit down. She explains everything that's scheduled for tomorrow, and then looks at me as she holds my hands in hers. "I want to thank you for your generous donation." She says honestly.

I look back at the group of younger adults all around Zeena, and look back at Stella. "Ben & Karen's Kids Foundation is there for kids, and they are kids. I am happy to do it." I say.

"Well as a Thank You we have named you as the Grand Marshal of the 5K race that starts from your rest stop. I would like you to blow the horn to start the race." Says Stella.

Jim answers before I can. "We would be happy to, but we would want to 'run' it too." He says using air quotes.

"We would?" I ask with a smile on my face.

"It's 3.1 miles, Mary. We can run that." He says.

"Actually most of the participants are our kids. They walk it with their Buddies." Says Jan.

"Perfect." Says Jim. "We will have an hour to work the crowd. Zeena will love it."

"You have two new participants." I say.

The race is a lot of fun. Some people recognize me, but I have a Best Buddies hat on with a ponytail, shorts, sunglasses and a Best Buddies tee shirt. Zeena is the star of the race. We mix into the crowd after the start of the race, and an hour later we have gone slowly from group to group. We stay at the finish line giving high fives to all the finishers behind us.

Little by little the riders start arriving. It then becomes an army of bike riders, and it turns into a big party. There are all sorts of celebrities here, comedians, actors, singers and athletes.

The MC starts putting a spotlight on the celebrities in the tent. He lands it on me and I smile & wave, but I hate every minute of it. The MC introduces a singer named Josie, and Jim is all smiles as he looks at me. "That's Josie!" He says excitedly.

"Really." I say smiling at him.

He realizes he is too excited. "Alright, fine. I had a thing for her growing up." He says.

"A thing?" I ask giggling.

"Yeah, a thing." He says now smiling.

"Ezzie, so Jim had a crush on Josie." I say.

"Oh yes." Says Ezzie. "He fantasized about her a lot growing up."

"Oh I bet he did." I say as she stands up. She is probably 10 years older than us, and still looks good. She hasn't released any music recently that I am aware of, but back when she was popular she was very sexy, and always in little outfits in her videos.

Just then Zeena comes trotting back to me with about 6 people chasing her. She tucks in close beside me, which she normally doesn't do. "Ezzie, is she ok?" I ask.

"Yes she just needs a break." Says Ezzie.

I hold up my hands to everyone. "How about we give Zeena a break. She has had a long day." I say.

They are all disappointed, but grumble. "Ok." I give her some steak tips I got earlier for her, and put some water in a small bowl from the table. Then she curls up under the table. I get up with Jim, tell Zeena to stay and we go mingle.

Everyone is still dressed from today's activities. I have removed my hat & sunglasses, and have let down my hair. Now more people are recognizing me.

Every celebrity I meet I ask Ezzie to make sure they use Goldstar Talent agency when their contract is up with their current agent. Someone taps me on my shoulder so I turn, and there is a big guy standing there. He is easily 6'6" and big. Then he talks, and he has such a soft voice and demeanor. "We haven't met yet. I am Tony. I am playing The Bear with you in The Agency." He says.

"Oh wow. So nice to meet you." I say as we shake hands. He shakes my hand so softly. "This is my husband, Jim." Jim looks up at him and smiles as they shake hands. Tony isn't big and muscular like Nick. He is just Big, and clean shaven.

"So what brings you guys here." Tony asks.

Jim speaks up. "One of my friends from college is on the spectrum. He and I became good friends. Mary met Jan out at the Alan Fudd show, and they started talking."

Tony laughs. "Yeah, Jan corralled me at the LA Special Olympics a few years back. I come here when I can. It's a fun time, and my sister Tracy loves it." He says pointing to one of the girls in the crowd of kids heading back to my table and Zeena.

I don't want to say no and look mean, but Zeena needs a break. "Ezzie, can you have them leave her alone for a while?"

"I will have them go get some ice cream." Says Ezzie.

"Thank you." I say.

"I thought for sure your dog was their target." Tony says with a laugh. "Looks like the ice cream bar won out." He says, as he looks back at us. "Is Barry here?" He asks.

"No." Says Jim. "He is higher functioning, and doesn't feel he belongs here. I have talked to his parents about it. He feels he is normal, but just needs help."

"I guess whatever works for him." Says Tony.

Tony and I start talking about the upcoming movie, when Josie walks by. "Excuse me." I say tapping her arm.

She turns, looks at me and smiles in recognition. "You're Mary." She says with a big smile.

"And You're Josie." I say laughing. We smile and give each other a polite hug. "This is my husband Jim. I lean in like I am whispering, but I don't. "He had a crush on you growing up."

"Thanks, Honey. That isn't embarrassing at all." Says Jim turning red

Josie smiles. "It's ok. I am sure a lot of guys did. You didn't turn into one of my stalkers so it's ok." She says.

Tony shakes her hand and introduces himself. "You actually had stalkers?" He asks.

"Most were just pervy letter writers, but a few did actually stalk me. Technically I have two restraining orders still in effect." Josie smiles. "The joys of being a star."

We all stand around and chat. Tony excuses himself to check on his sister Tracy, and Josie excuses herself to go talk to someone else. I hug Jim's arm in mine. "So did you ever want to stalk Josie?" I ask with a smile.

"No, I never thought of stalking her." He says smiling at me.

"What did you think about?" I ask.

"Ok, can we change the subject? This is just a little embarrassing." He sighs.

I laugh and hug him. "You are too easy sometimes." I say.

"Yeah, yeah. Thanks a lot." He says hugging me and kissing my forehead.

I stay there holding him for a moment or two. "Maybe we can make Jim's adolescent fantasy come true." I think to myself. "What do you think, Ezzie?"

"I think Jim's fantasies pale in comparison to some of Josie's fantasies." Says Ezzie.

"Really?" I ask surprised. "Is Josie really kinky? Is she into guys, girls or both?"

"She is into men & women. She likes to be dominant and in control when having sex." Says Ezzie.

"Hhmm." I think. "I sort of owe Jim for being so good with Jane. Let's see what the night brings, Ezzie."

The concert starts with two comedians warming up the crowd, a country singer and then Josie. At the end Josie looks out into the crowd shielding her eyes from the spotlight. "I want All the celebrities up here. I need back up singers for the next song." She yells out.

Tony is too big to hide, and as he walks up he keeps grabbing people that are trying not to go up on stage. He grabs my arm and pulls on me. "You too." He laughs, as I grab Jim's arm to stay with him. Jim grabs my arm and goes with me.

"Nnnoooo." I fake cry. "I am not a singer." I whine as Tony pulls me and Jim pushes me up the stairs to the stage.

There are a bunch of us up on stage, as Josie starts singing and walks down the line of celebrities lining us up. Everyone knows the song so as the chorus starts we all start singing, and we sound horrible, but everyone is laughing, smiling and having a good time. Jim and I are standing right behind Josie, and I notice Jim looking at her ass at one point. I decide right then and there I am going to give him his adolescent fantasy.

"Ezzie, when the song ends, have her turn and hug Jim, and then hug everyone else. After she hugs Jim & I she will imagine having a threesome with us. After the concert she will come chat with us. As we talk she will continue to imagine fucking us both. When the party winds down she will invite us back to her trailer." I say.

"She actually doesn't have a trailer. She is here in her tour bus. She is doing some concerts this summer in some smaller venues. She leaves tomorrow for a concert in Maine." Says Ezzie.

It's getting late, and the crowd has thinned out. A lot of the riders have had a long day. Josie, Jim & I aren't drunk, but we have had a few drinks as we have chatted. I think it's time. "Ezzie, have Josie proposition Jim. She wants us to come back to her bus." I say.

"Of course, Mary." Says Ezzie.

I watch as Josie leans into Jim. She says it softly so no one walking around us can hear her, but I can. "How would you and your wife like to come back to my bus, and maybe live out some of your teenage fantasies?" She asks.

I can see the shock on Jim's face. This isn't me setting something up. This is his teenage crush propositioning him. He knows I heard her. He looks at me and I raise my eyebrows and smile, as if to say. "Why not."
