Walking briskly towards the office building, I smiled to myself eager to test out my new gift. Only a week had passed since my near death experience and I never felt so alive. Something had happened to me as I hovered between life and death and when I had finally awakened there was a power in me I had never known before. Just by gazing into someone's eyes I could influence their psyche, hypnotize them, control their actions as I wished. It only took an instant and I could take anyone's will for my own.
When I had first awakened, it was late, the hospital down to its night staff and only an ER nurse keeping tabs on the most likely brain dead guy in a coma. I slowly looked around, still addled and weak, unsure of how I had gotten to the hospital. As I started to remember the injuries that had brought me here, the ER nurse must have heard my stirring because she was soon right by my side replacing my IV and checking my heart rate.
"My goodness", she said looking down at me, "It's so good to see you've made it back Mr. Scott." The nurse was younger, probably fresh out of nursing school and twenty two, with blonde hair and a nice supple pair of C cup breasts. Her eyes were a soft green, and her body was thin and toned. As she looked down into my eyes to ask the next question she paused, and stood there staring, eyes locked into mine.
"Hello?" I asked, confused to why she had stopped so suddenly. I waved my hand back and forth in front of her face to no avail. "Can you hear me?"
"Yes...I can hear you." She said softly, like she was in some sort of trance. Which she was. I started thinking to myself quickly.
"What's your name?"
"Tiffany"
"Alright Tiffany, when I snap my fingers I want you to wake up and act as everything is still normal. But if I snap my fingers again you will return to this trance. Do you understand?"
"Yes..." she replied. Well, I figured this was a good as time as any to try to see if this would work or not. If I did have some sort of hypnotic talent, I hoped I could control it a bit better, i seemed to have accidentally triggered it by poor Tiffany simply looking into my eyes through no fault of my own. I would have to practice to become more precise in my aim. However now it was time to see to what extent my trance held on the nurse. I snapped my fingers.
"Alright Mr. Scott, your vitals seem quite good but i'm going to have to call in your primary physician so he can monitor you for the next couple of hours. We'll probably have to run several more tests before-" I snapped my fingers and Tiffany came to a dead stop.
"Now Tiffany. I know you can hear me, and I want you to listen to everything I have to say. It's very important and I want you to remember all of it. Do you understand?"
