"Tony, I'm sorry, can you please open the door so we can talk? I brought beers." Kylee called out from the other side of his apartment door.
He sighed heavily and continued lying face down on his bed. For an instant he debated leaving his room, opening the door, then grabbing a few beers from her before shuffling right back in here and locking her out, but before he could do anything at all, he could feel her pressing against the door, just as her voice echoed again.
"Come on, Tony. It's me! Please, just open up. I brought real food too, I know you haven't eaten anything healthy since I left." Kylee pleaded.
Tony laid there silent for what must have been a solid minute before finally admitting to himself that he wasn't going to be able to ignore her. He was angry at her, yes, she had cheated on him with her best friend after all... the guy she always told him was just a friend. Yet he got a photo of them alone at a romantic restaurant, and he could assume the rest. Bringing into question, the night when he had seen them at her house together wasn't just two friends hanging out like she made it seem afterward.
Slowly rolling off his bed, Tony finally dragged himself out of the bedroom and crossed his small living space. Unlocking the door he swung it open, not hiding how depressed he had been for the last few weeks at all, letting his miserable frown do the speaking for him. He had no desire to see her, to reconnect and reminisce on sour memories.
"Here, I'll get the food prepared," Her gaze was filled with concern as she passed him an already-opened beer bottle and made her way to the small kitchen. She quickly turned on some music to help fill the silence of the room as he watched her with suspicion. "I really think we should talk. I... I'm not sure I've been able to properly convey everything to you before this."
Tony groaned but took a sip of the beer. Whatever Kylee planned to say, it was at least a little heartening to him that she seemed upset about what had happened. "Talk about what exactly, Kylee?" Tony asked dryly before taking another long swig of the refreshing beverage.
She was clearly picking her words carefully as she arranged their plates. "About me... and David. You have to let me explain!"
"You can start with 'I slept with David because he is the guy who always gets everything he wants, and so I just decided to spread my legs for him just this once', whomever the fuck that asshole is!" He answered, in even harsher tones than he intended. He regretted that slightly, but knew he was completely justified given the circumstances. He chugged the rest of his drink as he internally cursed even letting her in.
"What? No! Tony, don't talk about it like that! That's horrible, that's not what happened at all!" She insisted. The look in her eyes portrayed the hurt of his accusations.
"Sure it's not." Tony muttered, just loud enough for her to hear. His mouth opened again to retort before she could even try to defend herself from his accusation, but his vision blurred, "What the..." His words began to slur as his head throbbed in pain. Something was horribly wrong, something must have happened. Kylee watched him stumble in confusion as a sinking realization suddenly dawned upon him... he had been drugged.
He turned back to where Kylee was, as the room tilted to a side. All the concern she had faked during their whole meeting was now gone, and replaced with a self-satisfied smirk. "Sleep well Tony... just don't sleep too long." Her cold chuckle echoed in the recesses of his mind. "We will love each other forever. You just need another round of training to remind yourself of that." Those last words resonated in his thoughts, as his world faded into black.
======
When Tony awoke he quickly realized his hands were bound. Looking up he saw a familiar girl staring right back at him, with an innocent smile plastered on her lips. A dark look flickered behind her green eyes, however, confirming his suspicions of what had happened.
"Welcome back, sweetie." Kylee greeted Tony warmly as she played with the rope connecting his wrists together.
"You bitch. How much longer do you intend to play these games with me?" He grunted, shifting against the bonds on his limbs.
"Only until you understand Tony." She cooed, almost as if reassuring an ill child.
The memories of everything leading up to him passing out came flooding back like a nightmare, "Understand?! Understand what, Kylee?! That you some psycho bitch?!" Tony shouted in frustration, tugging harshly on the restraints.
She leaned away for a second but seemed unfazed by his anger. Instead she puckered her lower lip into a fake sad face before she whispered, "That I love you. And you still love me too, even with this... just deep down in your heart, you know you will always choose me."
The fact that Kylee had deluded herself into believing what was happening here was acceptable in any way shape or form was more disconcerting than the situation itself. "I want nothing more to do with you, you crazy bitch. You're so fucking deranged you must have slipped something into my drink. Just let me go, let me go and you'll never see me again!"
She giggled at his frustration, "Of course not silly. But you are right about one thing... I did drug you earlier and I will do so again and again and again if it means you'll always be mine. It was the only way."
Despite the carefree tone and wide grin across her face, he could see the insanity boiling underneath her words. He tugged on the ropes again but found them still tied tight around his wrists and ankles, "Kylee, I'm serious. You need help."
She shook her head, the expression on her face turned icy in an instant, "No, I don't. You are just being stubborn, it's fine, I know this will take some getting used to, but you'll be thankful eventually, once it finally sinks in."
Tony frowned, then chuckled in disbelief, "This isn't healthy Kylee, whatever the fuck you think you are doing here! This is a bad joke right, and at any moment you are going to untie me and we can pretend this didn't happen!" His voice grew louder until he was nearly shouting. "Untie me, NOW!"
"Aww Tony, stop yelling at me. I didn't come all the way out to see you just to get yelled at." She frowned in response, turning her head to look off into the distance for a moment. When she looked back at him her emerald eyes sparkled with delight. "You are absolutely adorable when you try to act tough you know... but I have an idea of how we can fix that attitude of yours."
Tony stared at her in stunned silence as she sauntered over to a bag he hadn't noticed until now. She quickly reached in and pulled out a leather collar and a leash.
Panic set in as he tried to jerk his feet free, but the binds wouldn't give. "Fuck you!" He spat, knowing his resistance was futile, but refusing to give in without a fight.
As he fought the restraints she pranced back over to him, "Now, now, sweetie, behave yourself." She cooed, sliding the collar around his neck before attaching the leash. Once done she tightened the straps and locked it in place. The action causing him to cough briefly from the sudden tightness. He scowled at her darkly, and continued to squirm.
Her smirk returned, pleased at his new predicament, "You will learn to stop that defiance of yours, and realize it is for the best. Afterall, you are mine. Mine to love, mine to cherish, mine to control, and mine to discipline." With each word her expression darkened further.
The sheer absurdity of everything that was happening kept him from forming coherent sentences, "You... you... crazy bitch! Fuck you! If you think I'm gonna submit to this shit then you're even more fucked in the head than I originally thought!"
Without any warning, he felt an electrical shock course through his body followed by intense pain and numbness. He cried out before laying limp for a brief moment, breathing heavily. She clicked her tongue, "Did your mommy never teach you any manners? No swearing like that, it is rude."
Through clenched teeth, he spat out, "You think I'm not gonna swear after everything you put me through?! You sick twisted bi-" He was cut off as she shocked him again with the remote held in her hand. "I said no swearing!" She snapped.
